Well as for me "I" don't believe in pushing my beliefs on people, especially in public. You have to respect that everyone dont have the same beliefs. Now if your one of those people that praises God any and every where than so be it. Its nothing wrong with praising God, especially if you're a true believer.

I think we should not worry about who we will offend with our public confession of God. Others could be encouraged by their courage and want to join them. They look confident and happy singing praises to God and that's attractive. Who doesn't want to be a part of a tight community of happy and confident people? That's an effective witnessing tool even if it steps on peoples' toes who think beliefs are being pushed on them.

The reality is that diametrically opposed worldviews don't invalidate each other. People should not feel afraid to live out their faith openly, publicly, and loudly.

I agree, that's why I say it's nothing wrong with praising God especially if you're a "true" believer. Did you see that part or did you just want to jump to wrongful conclusions? I basically said what you said in a nut shell.

Shame.........you might try reading the last Chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. I am very so thankful that Jesus and the Apostles did not adopt you attitude.
But, then, they were NOT BIG on being Politically Correct.

From Pentecost to today, there are Christians across the world speaking the Gospel of Jesus. They are being persecuted, attacked, imprisoned and even murdered...........but, shoot, others are just happy to keep it "on the down low."

To me that wasn't very appropriate. Its a place and time for everything. To be honest, if I'm going to have a nice dinner out, I don't expect to hear a gospel choir, but to each its own. They sound good, I just don't think it was the appropriate venue for that type of action. God Bless

It is most assuredly wrong to attempt to rescue someone from a burning building or warn them that the path that they are walking down drops off quickly into a fiery pit of lava.

I agree. What these people did makes Christianity look bad. This is the WRONG way to express one's faith and let others know. You don't completely take over a restaurant.

oh well they dont look they are a chinese restaurant that usually has a little shrine to the Kitchen God.
But people usually dont worship the kitchen God they just eat the food, its only the restaurant owners that do that, more of a superstiton that their offerings dont offend him or the triads take over!

I think if the restaurant owners dont mind then its ok to say grace and eat the food with thanksgiving to the Lord and if you want to sing thats fine.

In some of the kitchen reality tv shows they have a whole panel of judges but they are judging ir praising the chef although the chef actually isnt God.

What good is faith if you won't or can't express it.
Paul says give thanks always, jesus said" quiet the praises and the stones will start to sing.
David started dancing in the streets.
God's word tells us to give a answer of our hope and joy.
The boldness of the preaching and teaching along with the worshipping and Thanksgiving needs to be expressed.
If we are in the kingdom we need to act as such, we are a peculiar people,
Go tell it on the mountain, shout it out to all to here, let everything that have breath praise his name.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
How will they hear if no one preached, sing to the Lord that new song,
This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.
This is not a religion, this is the truth, these are those who believe and live the gospel.

Can you imagine in these stressed times. When people riot and loot in the streets, "f" bombing all over the place. And this is ok and accepted to express yourself.shouting out me, me, me,. I want my rights.
Believe me saints when I tell you they have no idea of what there saying.
Justice, justice, justice, for me me me . Ok "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
The penenty of sin is what..death.
Gods mercy and patients are long lasting but not endless, there come a time when he will answer.
It's things like this, simple and sincere that plants seeds, that brings back rememberance, that transform the heart,
This is the foolishness that God seeks when it is night time, this is the boldness that stands in the way of chaos.
Little is much when God is in it.
For the Lord inhabits the praises of his people.
Come out from among them.

Sad, truly sad............

There is no such thing as an "appropriate venue" FOR PRAISING GOD!

the Apostles praised God when they were in prison and even when they were being killed...........

But, I understand. I mean, gosh, golly wow, gee wiz, doing something like that would make folks believe I wuz a Christian and a disciple of Jesus the Christ.

It is a dangerous road you are traveling..............

I do not care what the Owner thinks. I ALWAYS say grace before I eat! And, if the Owner, or any one else gives me grief about it, I might just burst into song...........

That'll teach them. The damage to their ears should burst their ear drums and cause blood to come flowing out..... :)

Scripture says sing praises to God......don't say nutthing 'bout singing on key.

Never tried to keep you from posting your views. Post away. But it remains a dangerous road you travel when you believe it is good to "quench the spirit."

1 Thessalonians, Chapter 5:

17Pray without ceasing.
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19Quench not the Spirit.

When has seeking out positivity became a dangerous road?
Reading comprehension is truly an art form.......

17Pray without ceasing.
18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
19Quench not the Spirit.

You believe the singers acted inappropriately by bursting into a Hymn of Praise in that Restaurant. You state that it was NOT the appropriate place.
That is QUENCHING the Spirit..........and THAT is a dangerous road.....
