Always was and always will be shy at first.

Dislikes large groups of people.

Was in Drama Club in school, never acted, but rather was into tech/backstage. Ended up being an outsider to a group of outsiders. Awkward.

Through high school, hair was often dyed red, green, blue, whatever.

Was a Boy Scout, achieved 'Star' rank, never cared to advance further, so I always said I never cared if I ever got a 'Life' (the next highest rank).

Loves solitudinal-ish outdoor activities such as camping, walking, four-wheeling, etc, as long as it's: A: Not too hot, B: Not competitive, and C: Not too hot.

Took underachievement and indifference to record-setting levels in school.

Love to cook. Especially grilling/smoking/crock pot cooking.

My shoes also have to match my purse when I go to church.

Does your hair have to match your shoes and purse as well, Nuke? Just read that Blake Lively went through 14 shades of brown before they found the right one for her current role in the Green Lantern.

I think they should have saved themselves a lot of money and hired Nuke for the job instead... he obviously would have been happy to dye his hair in accordance...

Jullianna, I can relate in that I was a bit of a tomboy and still am. Actually, I think I'm more of a tomboy wanna-be--I TRIED to do the things the boys did but never could--can't throw, can't catch, and can't climb trees (I TRIED though... it's just that that first limb was so very high off the ground... )

Never had a Barbie and my best toys were my kickin' red lightsaber (though it didn't actually light up or make noise--imagine my disappointment) and some kind of toy guns my brother and I got that made something like 10 different noises... and "synthesized" your voice when you talked through its speaker... ("Luke, I am your... uncle's cousin's sister's former college roommate..."--I only half-remember the line from Spaceballs... sorry.)

Way too cool.

Nod, I never did the doorbell ringing thing, but I did the prank calls, eggings, shaving cream in mailboxes thing. And ...confession:

There was a lady who was reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally mean to the neighborhood kids at the bus stop and she would scream at us if we came near her lawn. Soooo.. one day she re-sodded it...and the teens snuck over at night, pulled it all up and stacked it on her front porch (totally intact cos we knew it was expensive), and then we climbed up on the water tower to hide while the police looked for us. I finally confessed to my folks when I was like...25.

played soccer since 6 when I pulled mom out to our lawn and put two sets of cones 50 feet away from each other and said, 'you shoot at this goal and 'I'll shoot at that one.'

was in church play for Easter at 11, I had a lot of lines to remember what I did but it was engaging . Was lead in 'Hound of Baskervilles ' in school. I liked to act, and, spell, school's spell bee champ 6th grade. I completely memorized words, it was can't miss. But then I got a much bigger paper list of words to spell for regional bee...and that overwhelmed me and I was intimidated too , a little I guess (not too much) having to contest at regionals with 7th , 8th , 9th graders. I lost early , round 2, misspelled easy word, 'relieve,' but was relieved of that duty and went back to playing soccer and playing with friends.

----what about girls? Yeah, I liked them, they liked me, I was mostly either side-stepping that fanciful part of life with soccer playing at a high level or playing with one of four real good friends.

---liked golf, never good at it, mostly the outdoor part of it.

----I explored our vast wooded areas with a long creek, I had a friend, still do, that he and I did all kinds of exploring, cutting through Blackberry bushes with knives, playing in clay, walking through a big tunnel culvert with water rushing through it.

We've been teasing Liamson about the cheerleader thing, so what would people be surprised to learn about your early years? What were your favorite things to do as a kid?

I'll start since I asked the stupid question

- was a cheerleader in 6th, 10th and 11th grade
- Though ever the daredevil, EXTREMELY quiet and shy as a kid; seemed like I was always the new kid
- didn't think of boys in any way but friends until my mid teens
- didn't like dolls, never played Barbies or dressed like a bride or dreamed of the perfect wedding
- my one girlie thing: I always like to dress girlie for church; my entire outfit had to match perfectly, shoes, purse and all

Favorite activites: riding/racing bikes, building ramps for bikes and skateboards, skateboarding, rollerskating (teaching kids to dance on skates was one of my first jobs), baseball, playing Batman (I always had to be Robin), gymnastics.

My mom made me take dance because I was such a tomboy, but it turned out to be one of my favorite things EVER.

WOOWW I was juustt likee you! reallyy, I would change just a little things. I was a cheerleader in my 7th and 8th grade. I was also really shy as a kid, just had a few friends and the ones I had were commonly boys . I became more friendly with girls growing up.
I HATEEEEEEEEEEEDDD barbiess! I prefered to play and break my brother's toys.I have always thought boys toys are more fun (I still think that, I love Buzz Light Year toys)
I loved to play soccer,baseball, go runnig, play hide and seek,etc with my cousins and brother.
My cousins and I liked to throw lemons at our neighbors from my window for no reason, we had like a war for some reason I still don't know.

When i was 13 my cousin and i used to run around the senior citizen retirement home across the road from her house and bang on the doors, when they would open the door we would start yelling WE NEED SOME TOILET PAPER!! WE NEEED SOME TOILET PAPER!! those poor old people..

Hahah that made me laugh! I also used to knock on people's doors with a cousin and then start running, we didn't say that we needed toilet paper, though(Unless we were playing" I dare you to ").We also liked to dial random numbers and say stuff like: is your refrigerator running? you'd better catch it!

Oh my,so many precious memoriess....I feel like going out and throw some eggs at strangers right now.

Spaceballlllls!!! I love that movie! Sorry that your lightsabre didnt light up. Back then our toys didnt do much of anything either. Now they do everything.

Favorite things to do as a child...
We lived in San Francisco. Going to the art museum: I remember standing about 8 inches away from a Van Gogh painting and looking at the individual brush strokes. Riding my bike. Playing and poking around in the tide pools at Half Moon bay. Eating figs and watching wild parrots in Redwood City. Fishing with my grandmother near Yosemite. Going camping with my family in the Redwoods. Playing in the ocean.

I was always pretty competitive as a kid. I'll race you to the sign. Lets race bikes. I can climb higher in the tree than you can. I can jump out of the tree higher than you can. *ouch* I can swim faster than you can. Throw a football farther. Hold my breath longer underwater.

As far as girls go, there was only one until I was in 8th grade. I liked her because she was better than me at everything. She was smarter, more athletic, older, more mature and taught me every board and card game I know. She then proceeded to beat me at every game I ever knew how to play. Even now when she visits around the Holidays we have knock down drag out Ultimate Frisbee games, which her team usually wins.

My mother went off the deep end when I was in middle school and I really quit being competitive. I became ashamed of my life and my family. I still knew what I wanted to do, but I wasn't going to push very hard for my goals. I became a slacker and that didn't change until I went to military School.

My mom made me dress girlie for school and I hated it. One of my favorite things to do was to get the swings to swing as high as possible, jump out using my skirt like a parachute, and land in the sand. My mom never could figure out why my shoes and socks were always full of sand.

Climbing trees is an art form, though I do recall learning not to try and climb one using an old rope that someone had probably left there 100 years before. I was nearly to the top walking up the side and the rope broke. Landed on my back with the wind totally knocked out of me.

Some of the best games EVER: Dodgeball, badminton, limbo, Red Rover, Tag .....and..umm...shooting my grampa's pigs with suction cup tipped darts. *forgive me*

lol Ive actually said that in my best darth vader voice many times. I love that line. "The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner, now *I* am the master*. I used to say it before sparring with a karate partner freind of mine in high school lol. He could easily kick my butt though because he was a black belt and I was still white hehe.

I have a feeling that Liamson's version of Badminton is kinda like the "Two Weeks Notice" version of tennis. A "slam the birdie between their eyes" kinda game.
