Funny thing, a couple of hours after I posted that pic, a very nice guy stepped out on the floor, said exactly what was on his mind and what he wanted. It was VERY refreshing to totally skip the minuet. It's boring. :) And he didn't even need a club. haha My dance card might be full for awhile....we'll see.

Just watch it when you get to the country line-dancing...people can get seriously injured doing that.

Yep...those pointy-toed boots can be dangerous. Had a guy I was trying to arrest kick me off of a porch (in the stomach) once with those things. But he STILL went to jail. :)

I suggests you tell him to GROW SOME HAIR ON HIS CHEST AND BE A MAN!

I don't think that will be necessary. :) Apparently there are guys out there who don't need to be told, and that's good because I don't think I'd ever be able to do that.

Aren't there some dances where the partner just goes to the other end of the dance floor then works his way back?

Yep, but if the dance floor is too crowded, you start to feel a little goofy dancing by yourself. :)

I took dance lessons with a boyfriend ONCE! Looking back at the situation I realize it speeded up the demise of our relationship exponentially!

I don't know what happened in your case, but I personally would hate it if a woman insisted on me taking dance lessons - with or without her. I'd be like, ok well then how about you take some lessons in the fine art of auto mechanics?

I would love to take auto mechanic classes. It would be great to learn how to do some simple stuff, not things like rebuilding an engine or anything. Think about how much most of us pay for stuff like oil changes, tire rotation, even replacing things like a starter. We would save so much money every year.

It would definately be worth it. I would hate to see you get stranded on the side of the road with something as simple as a timing belt off the rail.

I'm sure if you had a mechanic friend, or if you lived by me, someone could show you a few things in an afternoon. They probably wouldn't even charge. =)

What if she offered to be your private dance tutor in exchange for lessons in the fine art of auto mechanics? Or do you just not like dancing? :) Some guys don't. *shrugs* It's really no big deal, as long as I don't have to learn to spit :)

If its her teaching me I'm ok with that. I just don't want to drag myself to a class where I have to suffer constant embarrassment.

And Amber, you don't need classes to learn how to change a tire or change your oil. Thats covered in the manual. You'll be learning how to change timing belts, replace brake pads, disassemble and reinstall the cylinder head so you can replace warped head gaskets, fun stuff like that! :)

I totally empathize with you on this. I will be the first to admit this process causes me to question my self esteem! I wish that it didn't, but how do you become more secure in how God created you...so that you aren't wavered by silly boys? Or the dance all together? That's what I'm trying to figure out.
