👀 We got alot of married men in the singles forum... Can someone explain what that's about?

Seems a little strange tbh...
Why does it seem strange? Personally, while I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere fellowshipping in the Singles forum, I am here for the donuts and coffee.

I like making friends. However, it requires overlooking a lot of flaws, since those friendships are with people. :) I'm naturally somewhat hermitlike, but I think God prefers that I interact and fellowship with others more than I probably would without His direction. True friendships are hard to come by (for me), yet they are worth the effort.
A real friend don't care about flaws hun, maybe you just haven't experience a real friendship. There are actually good people in this world that fits the definition of what a friend should be.

I'm single and I visit the family forum now and then. 🤷‍♀️
I was married, have a child, and life experience that enables me to relate to (and hopefully encourage) the members that post there.
The married folk have done the same for many of us singles.
I'd also like to mention that for the most part, the married members rarely talk about anything inappropriate or sketchy and are always upfront about their spouses.
In fact, the majority of them comment about how amazing their spouses are and how thankful they are for them.
I think because (as many have mentioned) it's always stated very frankly that this isn't a dating site, I've never even considered that fact that married people contribute.
Happy New Year to you also! 🙏🏻🥳🎉
That's good dear, now you should push some positive feed back to the ones that are not married. I've seen negative post here that tell people they shouldn't get married.

My post was saying that the single and married members seem to be mutually encouraging to one another on here.
I'm not sure what you mean by pushing positive feedback.
I would never tell someone they should get married.
It may not be God's will for them. 🤷‍♀️

I think ppl just post on what threads interest them

not really sure why marrieds post on the singles forum, maybe the family one is too boring for them! I post on the family forum as well. Just because you are single doesnt mean you dont belong to a family. A lot of posts are like arrrgh how do I deal with my crazy family.

Maybe the singles forum should just be called the friends forum.

Oh, yes, I know that. That's why I said true friends are worth the effort. And I have them. I suppose if you visit a chat forum then perhaps others think you don't have real friends? I don't think that, personally, but I suppose some could infer that is the case. I have a real church; I have a real family; I have real friends. However, I have very few single friends. I hope that doesn't exclude me from stopping by a chat forum on occasion. :D

For other people to think because you on a chat site you don't have friends is a bit simple minded. I don't want any friends that break laws.. period. That's not a friend.that's a criminal.. And it don't sound like your grateful for things you just annoced having, its sounds a bit like your bragging. I just pray you bragging on all the real things that you have but in reality living a double life. God bless dear

What are you even talking about?

Who on here said, "not to get married but to focus on sex and living in sin?"

That's a totally off the wall and a weird thing to mention just out of the blue like that!

If its not Gods will for them, what is Gods plan for them? That's my point. Now explain

Well, I'm pretty sure that's up to God. One thing we do know is that his plan isn't fornication and living in sin for anyone.

People are different, though. Some people don't have sexual temptation or lust and can live a good moral life without sex ....Is that so shocking?

I have to admit that I find some of the responses and comments confusing, so I will just bypass those. :unsure:o_O:censored:

Ummm....what?
How did my comment turn into me being an advocate for premarital sex?
I find it laughable that you went there with it.
Perhaps you should read it again for clarity?

You need to have a bit of a thick skin sometimes.
Some people will take what you say and totally twist it. 🤷‍♀️
That speaks to them not you.

Oh, believe me, I am very accustomed to that. I have rescued dogs for the past 25+ years. LOL My skin is pretty thick, and it's not from dog bite scarring. ;)
