I don't know how to explain it, but I will try:
I was deeply into the occult. I was a professional psychic for over a year in the New Orleans area, but I realized Christ was exactly what He said he was: The Way, the Truth, and the life. That notwithstanding, I have become convinced that the end-times are upon us. I have repented of the occult. I have rededicated myself to Veridicanism (which is another topic). And I have become a seriously obsessed student of the end times and Revelation. The interesting thing about Revelation, I discovered, is that it's like interpreting a dream, or tarot cards, or an astrological chart, and I have a skill for that sort of thing.
Look, sometimes I have gone down divergent paths. I have repented of those. But the gifts remain, and now I lay them at the feet of Christ, and I will do the will of God that he pre-ordained me for--in Christ.
Maybe I'm insane. You know, a lot of people in religion and online in forums just like these are, in fact, insane. But I have my Bible open now, on my desk before me, open to the book of Revelation, and each verse draws me in, and I can't escape because it's like a spiritual whirlpool. And I must follow what I think God has called me to do in Christ.
But my madness, as severe as it may be, I will make this confession and you can be the judge, my dear Timothy:
I love Jesus Christ.
He is my salvation.
There is no way to God, our Father, except through Him.
He has given us talents and we must use them, or our lives are for nothing.
And I am a sinner--probably much worse than you. I live for one reason only: His atonement for me, and the infinite grace and mercy of the Father who has a love big enough to take in all evil.
I assure you, my only psychological recourse is to do the will of God I know for a fact he has ordained me to do.
Otherwise, I might as well be mad. I might as well be dead.

Ah, how lucky for you. I suppose, anyway. I lived in Riverside twice in my life. In the late 1970's (think "Saturday Night Fever") and again in the early 1990's. I was born in Northern California, in Redding, and I lived in Paradise, CA for a while as a kid. I wrote a book of poetry, which is on Amazon, called "Riverside." Several of the poems relate to my time as a kid and preteen in Riverside. I wouldn't want to live in California now, no offense, but I feel so blessed to have lived and grown up there when I did. Funny...when I lived there, Southern California was so conservative, there was lots of talk of making two states out of it: north and south. But, that is not the way it is now.
All that aside, my memories of Riverside are everything to me. They are of a place that once existed and no longer does, but they are mine and they are with me forever, and I am so thankful to God that I had that time there. 2022 be damned, you are still lucky to be there.
Actually along side the Libs are the world-wide TBN, world-wide Christian TV and Greg Laurie's expansive Harvest Church that saves hundreds each weekend. I read your entire message; yes, I honestly did and I appreciate each dotted i and crossed t . . . so-to-speak. Again, I welcome you.
You said a couple of things that stood out to me. You wrote:

I am not here to determine what Christ has called you to do, for, certainly, we are not all hands nor are we all feet. Eschatology may certainly be something that you teach in the future. I am utterly confident that I won't. I know, without a doubt, that my calling is to teach the Circumcision of Christ, for it is the Heart (no pun intended) of the entire Bible. Investigation is what intrigues me. Reading the Bible as though a lawyer is what intrigues me. Figuring out the Mystery as Paul secretly discloses intrigues me. These things said, I seem to be of the rarest group of people . . . few understand or relate to my writings, which gasps me.
You also said that each verse draws you in. I'm wondering what Colossians 2:9-15 will draw you in further still? The below Seven incredible verses will likely help to tie in your understanding of Eschatology. Why? Because those who are saved, Righteous, Holy, Purified, etc, they are as they are because of Colossians 2:9-15. Of course, there are many more supporting verses, but Col 2:9-15 is at the very core of the entire Bible, as stated earlier. I recommend that you read the below verses in as many different translations as possible, for they are all good. The KJV and NLT, I think, give an amazing representation of its core message, though there is slight differentiation.
So, I'm not asking that you stop investigating Revelation, but I am saying this: Just go back to Colossians 2:9-15 once a week. Also, read Ephesians 3:1-16, then read Ephesians 2:10-16. No, the two Ephesians passage sets may not sling the doors of Understanding, Knowledge, and Wisdom wide open for you, but it is my belief that they (all three sets) will tug at your heart . . . and as you study Eschatology, I believe that you will hold a major advantage over most who claim to be students of the Bible.
Conclusively, there is no greater subject to know and understand more than the doctrine of Spiritual Circumcision . . . it is the very fulcrum of Holy Salvation. Without Spiritual Circumcision, there will be no Land of Milk and Honey. There will be no Eternal Life without the Purification of Heart.
So continue down your road, but please do not forget what I have shared with you. Print out the below diagram . . . do not forget.
May the Lord Bless you beyond all imagination and comprehension. And do yourself a favor, do not ever again list yourself as one who is, or may be, insane. That will gain the respect of no one . . . that is a fact. Again . . . welcome!
Ah, that's right. In fact, I used to go to Calvary Chapel in the 90's for a short time anyway. I forgot about that balancing factor. In the 90's as an adult, my wife and I used to go to a nice steak place near the Mission Inn. But I can't remember the name and it's probably not there anymore. But, when I was 12 and on my bike, I would ride from our apartments on Panorama road to the Library downtown. That was my home away from home. I'm not going to talk about my religion here. It's very easy for people to find out more if they want to. But I will say that those are some remarkable verses from a Veridican perspective. Thank you for sharing them. I read them before making this reply.
