Jesus told us to know the truth and be set free.....

Jesus was sinless (Hebrews 4:15, 1 John 3:5)
Jesus was a descendant of Adam as per Luke 3
Descendants of Adam receive original sin because they were in Adam when Adam sinned (Romans 5:12)
So how did Jesus avoid having original sin?

Hebrews 2
14 Because God’s children are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had[g] the power of death. 15 Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.
17 Therefore, it was necessary for him to be made in every respect like us, his brothers and sisters, so that he could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. Then he could offer a sacrifice that would take away the sins of the people.

Some claim sin only passes through the mother......I'm not buying it

So either Jesus was born WITH a sinful nature, or we are born WITHOUT a sinful nature.

So much for the "T" in Total Depraviyty .....

I do not believe in the TULIP doctrine but do believe in total depravity as defined as it took God to first seek us out and we all are without excuse as we all have had the choice to respond.

Romans 3:23 ESV
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

All have sinned. We as mankind have sinned and fall short.

Hebrews 4:15 ESV
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

But Jesus being fully man and fully God was without sin. How was He without sin being of man? He was also of divine nature (conceived through the Holy Spirit) and God can not sin. It is against His nature. As to why Jesus was the only sacrifice that could pay for sin. It took God Himself as perfect, Holy and without sin to pay the debt to reach that high of a bar. No one other than God Himself could pay for our sins.

I think of Christ's human nature as being the same as what Adam and Eve had before the fall. That nature was able to not sin. However, Christ also has a divine nature, which means He CANNOT sin. To use the wilderness temptations as an example, Jesus experienced them in His human nature, but not in His divine nature, because God CANNOT be tempted by evil or to sin.

As for Christ's birth, the Holy Spirit kept His human nature from being tainted by sin.

I agree, to some extent. Scripture (besides Pauls ramblings) doesnt say everyone has sin DNA and cannot help but sin; the totality of scripture teaches we ELECT to sin; and if we repent and return to God, He is still there for us ; Jesus life showed us what it looks like if we ELERT to obey God; He could have sinned, but He didnt

If Jesus WAS UNABLE to sin, then his perfect life wasnt anything special, of course God can magically make himself not sin

But IF Jesus showed us that we CAN live in one unity with God, then that collapses lots of religious and theological pillars

Responsbility for ones actions, there is a novel idea

Lets see what the unchanging Jesus of scripture says on the matter:

Ezekiel 18
20 The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent’s sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child’s sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness. 21 But if wicked people turn away from all their sins and begin to obey my decrees and do what is just and right, they will surely live and not die. 22 All their past sins will be forgotten, and they will live because of the righteous things they have done.

2 Cor 5:21 ESV
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Jesus could not sin as it was against His divine nature as God incarnate. He was either holy or not.

His perfection is special as it took only perfection to pay the debt of sin that comes from the tarnished fall of mankind.

Jesus was still a man, He was still half human, He was tempted but never once struggled with temptation. Satan tried but immediately Jesus rejected him with the Word.

Essentially Jesus's ministry and teaching was to show mankind the truth and how a relationship with God should look. Jesus in the flesh could still feel pain, grief, righteous anger, sadness, anxiety, joy, love, peace, etc. Never once did these lead Him to sin. His grief led to joy, His anger was righteous, His anxiety didn't stop Him from doing God's will.

OK, so you deny/don't believe this passage :
Hebrew 2

IF JESUS WASNT FULLY MAN, as you are claiming, then He couldn't offer a sacrifice that would take away sins. Or He could, because He is God, and all of this death burial and resurrection were cheap parlor tricks. So why would God have to PRETEND like he was a man, hoping we'd be tricked into thinking he was a human just like us....

I think what you suggest is contrary to Gods nature

God either became a man and did it = BIG DEAL

Or did it in His divine authority for attention = NO BIG DEAL

The WORD made flesh!

The Holy Spirit OVERSHADOWS Mary, not is intimate with Mary!

Think on terms of Invitro, where an egg is placed into the womb to carry until birth.

Nowhere, does it claim Mary is the Biological Mother!

Mary, was still a VIRGIN after the birth of Christ!

If the Holy Spirit had sex, then God is a LIAR for condemning Angels who had sex with humans and created Nephilim [so no sex involved!

That's one guess, you cant say its biblical or supported by scripture ; Mary had dirty DNA so Jesus would still be tainted with her half dirty genes, if every human inherits a gene nature

No, if God sent the Angels who had sex with humans to outer darkness [Peter explains], then He cannot turn around and do it Himself. He made it a Commandment. He won't break His Own Commandment! So, there is NO DNA from Mary at all! Christ was Sinless from invitro till He drank the Cup.

you don't understand how in vitro works...
holy sperm placed into unholy uterus; the resulting baby grows in that dirty uterus, drawing all blood and tissues from the host; yea, there is MAry's DNA

First of all, Genesis said from the Woman's SEED!

Women have EGGS, Men have SEED!

So, we know this is Invitro from Genesis.

Don't be ignorant!

A SEEDED EGG is implanted = INVITRO

The EGG [from another person] is already FERTILE before going into a Host Womb!

Your invitro theory:
Holy sperm placed in petri dish with unholy egg

Are you saying inserting a penis into a vagina is the act that transfers sin nature ? Cause I know that's nowhere in scripture

I have said He was fully man and fully God. 50/50. The divine half covered the man half. Otherwise He would of been a sinner like mankind.

Make no mistake, Jesus was no ordinary human. No ordinary human could forgive sins, heal on demand, control the weather, cast out demons, etc.

Where did the egg come from ? Mary, yes; are you saying God is a woman and donated the egg ?

What brings the curse of sin is our DNA that scientifically links us back to the first 2 individuals. Of course, they will not say these 2 was Adam and Eve, but we know the names of these two. Through Adam, the curse was spread to all of mankind.

The egg came from God, He did not need Mary's egg.

Are you Mormon or JW?

You really want to destroy Christ!

Sure about that ? ? Jesus said we will do greater works than He; we aren't ordinary humans; some are filled with the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead .....
John 14:12
"'I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father."
