What should be included in a good Plan of Salvation- what principles should be stressed? Why?

What specific scriptures do you think best illustrate those principles? Why?

What should not be included? Why not?

I'll start: One thing I think gets left out a lot is repentance. In Hebrew that's "teshuvah," which means more than just being sorry, more than just turning away from your sin; it means turning back. RE-turning to that state Adam had when he walked with God in the Garden. Salvation is about relationship, a walk with our creator.

Isaiah 59:1-2
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save,
or his ear dull, that it cannot hear;
but your iniquities have made a separation
between you and your God,
and your sins have hidden his face from you
so that he does not hear.

God cannot walk with us in sin. We must repair that relationship through repentance:

Acts 3:19 Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out,

If we do not repent then there can be no forgiveness and no walk. No relationship.

I like to start with God's love, (John 3:16). Next, people need to know that they are sinful and separated from the God who loves them. (Romans 6:23). They need to know about the death of Jesus on the cross, and why He had to die (Romans 5:8)

They need to know that Jesus rose again from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6) and they need to know that Jesus is the ONLY way to God. (John 14:6) Once that has been established, people need to know that it is essential to receive Jesus, not just believe facts about Him. (John 1:12)

People need to know that it is a new life and that it is not compatible with the old way of life. (John 10:10, Acts 2:38)

To establish the reality of the person's acceptance, ask where Jesus is now. If they say, "In my heart", you know that they are for real. If they are not sure, you'll need to find out what they have believed up to that point. They also need to know that it is by grace through faith, not by feelings. (Ephesians 2:5)

Personally I avoid the KJV. The language is unfamiliar to most people and trying to explain the wherefores, thees and thous is no fun at a time when the focus should be on Christ and their response to the gospel. The New King James is fine, so are any of the other translations. Obviously we reject the JW's version and its distorted scriptures.

I find it helpful to use a tract. If I can, I go through the pages and get them to read the relevant verses.

The seven feasts are a celebration of God’s complete plan of salvation for us.

1, Passover. Tells us the angel of death passes over us through the blood of Jesus. 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 King James Version (KJV) 23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: 24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread. Unleavened bread is a symbol of sinlessness, leavened bread is the symbol of sin. It is the purging of sin that Christ does for us. 1 Corinthians 5: 6-8 Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. 8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

3. First Fruits Christ is the first to live after physical death. Before that, saints were preserved in sleep, they came alive when Christ was crucified. Matt. 27:51-53 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

1 Corinthians 15: 20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

4, Pentecost. The feast was on the day of harvesting new grain in the wheat harvest. It is the day that Moses was given the law in stone, and after Christ cane to us in the flesh, the day that that law was put into our hearts with the holy spirit.

5. Feast of Trumpets: Prophecies when Christ will come again with a great sound of trumpets. Matthew 24: 31-32 Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

6. Day of Atonement,’ The day Satan is abolished, our sins are forgiven.

7. Feast of Tabernacles. Our final home will be tiebreaking with God.

If you understand The Kingdom is now ...what do you think that entails?

A Kingdom Citizen has to uphold The Last Adam's Image to remain a Child on the Narrow Path of SALVATION.

Premills don't want The Kingdom to be now ...for that reason!

The Last Adam had Pure Blood to Fix our Reborn Image.

1 Corinthians 15:20-24 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/1co/15/20-24/s_1077020

Romans 6:3-12 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/rom/6/3-12/s_1052003

1 Corinthians 15:44-49 https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/1co/15/44-49/s_1077044

If the Last Adam is involved in SALVATION ...then the Choice from the Garden of Eden is involved. Stop eating from the wrong Tree!

That is key in trying to get through to the lukewarm. To Believe in JESUS is to LIVE IT.
So you have said------ live it ------So can you tell people how to live it and ---explain how you live it so you can be an example for others to follow -----

I would say if we need mercy this is a good place to begin a foundation

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom.

For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the judgement we apply to other people is going to be what we receive in spades.

we should live by that law of liberty because all of us will need mercy when facing our judgement

“So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
‭‭James‬ ‭2:12-13‬ ‭

mercy is what every human needs to be saved because we have all sinned at some point we want to express the type of judgement Jesus taught mercy towards others and repentance towards our own self and actions

salvation is through Christ alone

the rest is baggage and designed to take your eyes off Christ

salvation is undeserved mercy from God through the blood of Christ who died in our place.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders, 9 if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, 10 let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. 11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4

2 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us,
5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2

Pick up your cross and Follow JESUS. Start asking yourself "what would JESUS do?".
What does pick up your cross mean ---and how do you do that -----what do you have to do to pick up your cross ????????????

How does asking yourself ----a question of what would Jesus do make you live it -----?????

You must be able to give some examples of what you do to carry your cross ---so one can follow your example ------

The plan of eternal salvation for the lost sinner, doesn't involve any works on our part. It can't because there is nothing good in an unsaved person.

It's all God saving someone, no mix of self effort in there.

What belief and repentance mean are the main key things.

The belief is when someone believes on the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. Not when the give up smoking or stop looking at porn or quit sleeping before marriage.

These are responses to having been given the gift of eternal life.. not the means by which it is given.

John 3:16, John 5:24 and Roman's 10 are some key parts of scripture.

Dont mix up with lessening sin in your life with receiving eternal life. Forgiveness of sin comes first.. then lessening sin is the response to being given the gift.

They are never going to get Elected unless they try and cut sin from their lives ...you are giving them excuses to continue sinning.

isn’t it about following Jesus ? “ pick up your cross daily and follow me ? “

denying yourself and taking up the cross is glimpsed here lay down the human reactions and follow the spirit

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also. And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:21-22, 27-28, 31-34, 37-45‬

it’s carnal to take offense and respond with offense , it requires us to lay our selfishness down and follow Christ and the truth to do those things he’s teaching

selfless is the gospel never running on emotion and carnal feeling of being offended never taking revenge but turning the other cheek taking an insult and blessing the person , praying for those who offend and are spiteful to you ect

it’s much more glorified than “ sin “ defined by Moses law. The righteousness of God has come forth that exceeds the righteousness of Pharisees and carnal commands following Jesus and his doctrine is how you take up your cross walk in repentance and follow the spirit of his word that puts the flesh to death and quickens the spirit

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:63‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

of your following the gospel in faith your not going to be walking in the works of the flesh sinning . We can’t fight sin in the flesh we can accept and follow the spirit and let Christ circumcize our sins and our to death the deeds of the flesh just by repenting of our own selfishness and following him

“Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It means stop sinning.
Well --can you tell us how to stop sinning ------when you accept Jesus your get the indwelling of the Holy Spirit so your Spirit is Holy ---but that doesn't stop us from sinning ---our Spirit is renewed but our Soul still lives in the old ways ---so how does one stop sinning -----you will still sin while you are in the flesh ----

So do you always turn the other cheek if someone were to slap you on one side to allow them to slap your other cheek -------and then say ----well that is the Christian way ------

and how much do you do for your neighbour ---do you go often and help your neighbour ------

Do you never tell a lie ?????---do you never loose your temper at your neighbour ????? ----

Obviously if The Kingdom is now ...JESUS Fulfilled what was Moses did. The excuses to sin ends now.
I say
I ask you to tell how you Live out the way of Jesus ------and you keep avoiding the Question ----

what do you do yourself daily to carry your cross -----what do you do to never tell a lie which is a sin by the way --so what method do you use to live the sin free Christian life ------????????????
