1 John‬ 2:15–17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

::sigh:: are you pretending that Adam didn't have an image that The Last Adam Fixed?
There is no record of Adam having lived like Jesus, either.

Why do you not simply answer the questions put to you?

Your wild goose chase is nothing more than deflection and attempted deception from you.

No, i can't do Miracles ...obviously. JESUS was the Last Adam.

You either uphold His Image (stop sinning) ...or you don't.

in Him who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.

It takes more than saying a sinners prayer to uphold the Reborn Holy Image. You can’t walk in The Spirit unless you get rid of physical sins in your life. To plan to physically sin in the future is to have a plan that isn’t from GOD.

To have your own plan for life (without GOD) is to use the tree of knowledge.

You made your own definition of sin to pretend that you are not doing it.

You say others must live as Christ did while you yourself do not. You are so predictable.

God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s trespasses against them... God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. From 2 Corinthians 5:18-21

The lukewarm only want excuses to keep GOD out of their lives, so they construe what The Test is with satan's comforting lies.

babylon knows GOD is looking for His Children, so they make their own Garden of Eden definition of "good" and claim they will pass The Test.

satan tricks dead spirits into thinking they are Saved by causing society (worldliness) to promote twisted "good" works through pride. Helping other people is great, but you are not Saved by doing it without GOD'S Guidance.

satan said our eyes would be opened ..they opened to his will and closed to GOD'S. he said we wouldn't die ..when he represented death. he was saying we could make our own rules because GOD told us we would die ..and we did, spiritual blindness (death).

You pass The Garden of Eden Test by Choosing Life which is Answering with JESUS' Blood to be Reborn to His Image (Child of GOD). For The Kingdom Now and for Judgment.

" …7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.…" - 1 John 1:7-9
"…3So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance? 5But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.…" - Romans 2:3-5

I long for the day when I am like Jesus.
No more death, no more mourning, no more crying...or pain. That day will come!

This is ironic coming from you who believes you can convert millions by using vain
philosophies of men to convince people of the Truth that is found only in Jesus.

thanks

you reveal who you really are

also why I did not supply you with your demands
What you’re doing is called projecting. You require me to be making demands and revealing myself as something for you to maintain your toxic behavior.

Rather than have a mature Bible discussion like what I engaged you with in my first comment to you, you get a talking to like a child. You be rude to people you don’t know on an online forum, you might get humbled and intellectually dominated in your own thread.

nope

this is what you said

I agree with you, but at the same time I know God expects us to give it a pretty good effort to not sin. That's basically the New Testament in a nutshell: believe in Christ and don't sin anymore, but if you do then confess those sins to God.
and I said

I don't believe the NT message is about not sinning. it is about far far far more than that

can anyone stop sinning in their own flesh or does something happen when we accept Christ?
later on I said why don't you start a thread about the NT (after you remarked on my initial response) and you took that as an insult even though I said I would respond in that thread

I meant no insult, but you have not stopped with the comments. you dig and dig, having nothing to do with the actual op and it seems you think ad hominin attacks are something we all enjoy

you say you are going to leave but you are still here with your personal insults. very childish and I'm done trying to explain things to you. it obviously makes no difference to you anyway.

You told me I need to read the New Testament because I allegedly don’t know what it’s about since it’s not at all about abstaining from sin. I could probably quote for a few dozen that say otherwise. Your comment is absurd.

You also told me to grow up. I am just commenting here like every one else is and you’ve singled me out as your punching bag. You tried carefully to word your posts to maintain a level of deniability, but you were sloppy this time and you won’t be gaslighting your way out of this one.

It is really quite amazing to see so much confusion about salvation. Yes, there are some who delude themselves into believing that sinless perfection is attainable in this life, while others believe that salvation can be lost. Both are errors. So we need to see what the Bible says:

1. Even after someone is saved, the old sin nature -- "the flesh" -- is not eradicated. Therefore there is a conflict between the flesh and the Spirit: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth [conflicts] against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. (Gal 5:16,17)

2. Christians who deny that they sin deceive themselves and make God a liar: If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. (1 John 1:8-10)

3. Christians are commanded to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world (Titus 2:11,12)

As we can see those who are saved do have the imputed righteousness of Christ, but because of the flesh they can fall into sin. Therefore they must examine themselves, confess their sins, and repent. But the constant goal of every believer must be righteousness and holiness.

Salvation is the gift of eternal life after God justifies a sinner by His grace. Therefore salvation can never be lost. If a Christian persists in sinning there are other remedies which God applies.
“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:26-29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Excellent Post ---and so right -----we can't change anyone but ourselves and only God can change others ---We can set an example of how true Christians are to act by actually putting the fruits of the Spirit into practice and hope that one notices God is working in our lives and we can then plant a seed in their mind --but that is all we can do ------God is the only one who knows their heart ----
amen and also we can’t pray and worry at the same time I used to worry now I pray and leave it with Jesus to determine the outcome .

we do our part and trust him with the rest !!

what is your understanding here?

you said this in response to Nehemiah's post in which he outlined salvation

do you object to what Nehemiah wrote?

in think scripture speaks for itself. I believe that which I quoted is meant to turn our thinking against willful sin.

willful sin is when you know you are sinning it’s part of our Will as humans to sin in some ways each have different areas we struggle with but all have some areas

scripture like that is. It meant to condemn us but to change our thinking towards scripture. It’s meant to cause repentance when we read thkngs like that or like this

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:16, 19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s not meant for others to condemn each other and stare intently looking for others behavior it’s meant to change our minds toward righteousness

it’s about what we believe.

::rolls eyes::

GOD knows if you are trying to clown Him. There can be a last time you do a sin. It will be from that point forward that you are actually Saved.
So one must stop sinning before they are saved according to you??? Wow. Talk about contradicting Scripture!!!
