If you are an artist, please feel free to post pictures of your work. If not, please post paintings or sculptures you like.

Also, if your musician and you have original work, feel free to post a link of your songs.

I always liked Picaso, Christian Lassen, and Banksy. That would be my top three painters. What's yours?

These two paintings were done by Salvador Dali. O.k., I would probably put in Salvador Dali in my top 3, but might have to put Christian Lassen at the 4 spot, than put Salvador Dali at number 2. Anyways....

That's a nice one. You did this TamLyn? Water color paint?

Just drop the image quality when taking the picture?!?!

Thanks for sharing. I like the colors you used, has a twilight impression or something.
I used watered down acrylic. Painted on wood.
Thanks for the compliment kinda! 🤗

My mom paints and does the same thing. People pay her money for her painting and cooking.

Keep painting, you never know how good you can get.

Music? Someone say MUSIC?! :D:D:D:cool:

I make soundtracks for songs I want to sing at church, so I won't have to get the piano player to learn a new song just for me. The piano player always has a full plate.

These are the songs I liked:

Laura Story: Blessings
Carl Cartee: Chasing After You
Carl Cartee: Gold Begins (I want this song sung at my funeral)
Jesus is a Rock in a Weary Land (though the version in my collection is more techno than this)

These are the soundtracks I made for those songs:

Blessings:

Chasing After You:
https://app.box.com/s/enap94g3rbqrbzpxf389
Gold Begins:
https://app.box.com/s/j68dzaveuzefpylgmy1gaxwzpxvn838x
Jesus is a Rock in a Weary Land:
https://app.box.com/shared/a6hdjbeatx

(Don't judge my singing in "Gold Begins." I was trying to keep it low because Grandma was in the next room.)

(Jesus is a Rock in a Weary Land was the easiest one I ever made. I should have tried techno much sooner. It would have been great for my confidence.)

(Chasing After You is I think the best one I ever made, especially at the chorus.)

(All songs were made in a computer, with a MIDI keyboard and virtual instruments.)

Sound tracks sounded good, the singing on Gold Begins was a little flat. You have any songs were you are singing normally?

Just curious.

Nyet. The only reason you got that is because I don't have a version online with only the music.

You can resize on upload to Postimages — free image hosting / image upload (<= link)

They give you a number of size options (anything from 320 to 800 pixels is fine for here depending on how large you want it to display) with the ability to upload directly from online as well as from your device. No registration is required, and they will never delete your file, though you have the option to delete it if desired. I save the urls for all my personal uploads as well as the upload page url. Once you retrieve the url from the direct link line, you simply enter it into image tags like so (but without any spaces):

[ img]IMAGE URL HERE[ /img]

I recently returned to designing Scripture panels at the end of last month after receiving a new laptop for Christmas from my daughter, and have completed or am still working on more than two dozen new panels since then :D Kinda, you may be happy to see that some of these new designs are scenic :) Like my new welcome panel
:giggle:

Welcome!

^ A panel was requested of me by one of the elders in my church for someone who is a pilot...

Psalm 116-7

Long time no text at!!! Glad your back to your artistic ways.

You are right, I especially like the lake scene with James 4 on it. I have to say, well done! It's not to busy, it's playful, and the colors are complimentary.

Thanks for sharing that refitting link, I plan to eventually put my music on Spotify, and you need a logo that fits a certain dimension. Maybe one day I will brave enough to post my music in the singles forum, but still not ready to put myself in the public realm. lol

Life Goes On (Miss me when I'm gone)

Another day, same old story, count the ways to pass my time
Today's another page of never ending living loving life
Nothing changes, nothing dies, prophecy is all you have to justify
God's will in a world that will pass you by

There's nothing bigger than life, there's nothing new under the sun
Nothing takes the place of simply knowing right from wrong
Don't take for granted all you've learned and all you know

Cause life's too short to waste your days looking for something better
Hang on tight to your faith, you can't change the weather
Count your blessings, you're not alone, we're in this together friend
As long as sun is shining life goes on
Or you might miss me when I'm gone

Liars lie, believers pray, the meek inherit what God promised all to be
Try to change the world, you'll find you can't change me
Look around, see the play, a million actors playing parts of yesterday
Stakes are higher but the plot is still the same

There's nothing bigger than life...

Nice job. Not really my style, but appreciate your work.

Reminds me like a cross between Tom Petty and David Bowie.
