Putin has made this invasion in Ukraine all about the US dollar.

When I see things like that it is so far away from my view of the Bible I have no response. I think every word of the Bible is speaking to me, an American, in the 21st century. I don't get questions like that. If the Bible is not talking to us today in the US then why read it?

As an aside I heard about "Bible codes" and so I wanted to test it out, There is a guy who will find your name in the Bible, so I gave him my name (first, middle and last), my Mom's name, my dad's name my kids names, my wife's name, the year I was born and the city.

He found my name intersected by my mother's name, father's name, daughter's name and wife's name as well as the year I was born and the USA.

The verses that were there were quite amazing and shined a light on my Christian experience.

Since then I have a whole new appreciation for "all things came into being through the word of God"
Well said, Brother Z.

I didn't realize the Bible talked about Americans.

.
To anyone taking exception to this comment, it's alright. Perhaps a bit snarky... but who among us hasn't snarked every now and again? It was a fair inquiry and I'll give it a fair answer.

The Bible talks about every human who ever existed. God said to Abraham: (my paraphrase) Through your seed all the nations of the Earth will be blessed.

Does the Bible talk SPECIFICALLY about Americans? Well, it talks SPECIFICALLY about Ninevites, Babylonians, Hebrews, Egyptians, Syrians, and many other peoples in prophecy. The term "America" wasn't coined until 1500 years after the Scriptures were completed.

So DOES the Bible talk specifically about Americans? If America is Mystery Babylon, then yes it certainly does.

It is my understanding that the bulk of the descendants of the tribe of Manasseh are to be found in America. They just don't know it...yet!

Really? 1 Chron 26:32 is the last mention of the tribe and they are absolutely gone after that.

Edit - I think. :)

I just found a source about this, but I haven't verified it to my satisfaction yet.

According to these materials, ten tribes went into captivity beyond... it was either beyond a river or beyond a nation, I don't remember the specifics. But the region they went into captivity in, supposedly, was very extreme northeastern Asia. According to these sources, the Inuit of North America are some of their descendants.

What I DO know 100% is that representatives of all 12 original tribes DO still exist; God says He will call 12,000 of them out of each tribe, so He knows who they are even if they don't know it themselves.

Fantastic point! I'll be adding that to my commentary/notes.

Edit - I just found this in Revelation chapter 7. Thanks!

Out of a thousand different point-of-views on the subject, I believe the Lord led me to Brit-Am/Hebrew Nations.com. Forty years of research by a group headed by an ultra-orthodox Jewish scholar who lives in Jerusalem.
I'd suggest that anyone who feels the inclination to do so, go have a look at what he has to say. Perhaps the Lord will tell you something you didn't know. Yair Davidiy says that the Lord will wake up "Ephraim" (the northern kingdom of the House Of Israel) through divine inspiration. For the record, I am a follower of Jesus Christ.

Is it possible that they might be raised from the dead, perhaps like the story of the Valley of the Bones?

“For I have bent Judah, My bow, Fitted the bow with Ephraim, And raised up your sons, O Zion, Against your sons, O Greece, And made you like the sword of a mighty man."

Russia announced they are putting the Ruble on the gold standard. It appears that this is based on a deal made last august to sell oil from Mid East for gold. If you don't need US dollars to buy oil I suspect many other countries will get rid of their dollars as well. The world is angry with the trillion dollar spending bills and the rampant printing of dollars by the US to buy ETF's. The inflation they have put on the US dollar affects everyone worldwide and they see it as robbery.

Also, it was stunning to the rest of the countries that the US could just debank a country and see their stock market, banks and currency collapse. No one wants to be under that.

As for the US this will not affect us that much as long as we produce everything we consume. The only real issue will be with imports. Anything we import may become much, much more expensive. But just like Biden and Psaki said, making all imports super expensive could be a good way to decrease our trade deficit.

Of course if the whole world dumps US dollars it could see a collapse of the US dollar, maybe a drop of 80-86% in value.

We've given China a nice, new, shiny, world-class nuclear arsenal, not to mention a top-notch, state-of-the-art military, so we don't need to buy their goods anymore. Now that's what I call equality!

We can all rest easy concerning the gas price going up.

This is a top concern for the Biden administration, they are sending their top person, the one who dealt with the border crisis with Mexico and the Ukraine crisis. That's right, Kamala Harris is going to solve our current gas crisis with gasoline up over $7 a gallon in California.

Her plan is for us to all buy electric cars at 60k. True, there is a small problem of how you recharge the car if you were to go on a trip, but for the time being why can't everyone just stop going on trips? There is the other small issue about where the power comes from but that is easy, it comes from the sun, Kamala learned that in elementary school.

Now you might argue that even if this plan did actually reduce the amount of gas needed it wouldn't have any net impact for several years and in the meantime gas prices could easily go over $10 a gallon. Now you know why Biden doesn't take questions, it is because of people like that who are always trying to stand in the way of progress. Do you have any idea of how much money these tech giants gave to the Biden administration? So then ask not what the Biden administration can do to cut the cost of gas, rather ask what you can do to help pay back the big political donors to Biden's administration.

At seven dollars per gallon, not even the Democrat voters will accept it. The Dems will be out of business at the end of the current term. The Bible says that we're not supposed to refer to others as idiots, but this is really pushing my limits.

One thing that always bothered me, greedy people cannot stand to lose any money. If they control the economy and they shut it down aren't they losing money?

True a few tech companies did great during the pandemic but we are led to believe these elites have been running the world for the last six thousand years. I don't think they are tech giants.

But then it hit me, bankers didn't lose any money. Even if payments were delayed on mortgages it didn't stop or pause the interest being charged. Not only so but everyone who lost their job are they now borrowing more? The US government has been borrowing like there is no tomorrow.

This has truly been a golden time for bankers. If the people ruling the world are bankers they did not harm their business in the least, on the contrary they have established it even more as the amount of indebtedness has grown.

You seem smart, ZNP. I've got a fair amount of money in cash and bank form. It appears that the value of the dollar is about to flushed. What can you recommend that I do with this money to secure it for my future? (Providing that there is a future.)

1. There is no salvation in any name other than Jesus. My number one recommendation is to get tight with Jesus and make the pre tribulation rapture.

2. We will have a famine during the tribulation. Read the Good Earth by Pearl Buck, nothing is more valuable than food during a famine. (Please note if you live in a city there will be roving gangs looting and looking for food so you will not want to be in a city unless you are in the biggest, baddest gang in the city).

3. The Bible is very clear that silver and gold will not save you. I ignore all these shows pushing gold, silver or crypto.

4. Real estate would seem to hold its value but not for Christians. They will hunt you down and chop off your head. Owning a house just makes you easier to find. Also the geography of this planet will be seriously rearranged during the 7 years of tribulation, unless you have a map of where you wanted to live after that period seems crazy to think buying real estate is good (most coastlines will be wiped out, 65% of American housing is on the coast).

Amazing post. I really, REALLY appreciate it. I just sold the last of my pounds and pounds of silver right before the UK war began . . . and I won't be buying any more. What people don't realize is that to have any substantial worth in silver, it's more bulky and vastly more heavy than they realize. Imagine carrying around 30lbs of silver? Seems light, but no . . . it isn't. Gold is tough because it's too valuable for its size. Change for an ounce of gold just results in more heavy silver. Everyone will feel burdened by 30lbs of silver when they're also lugging around their shelter, tools and food on their backs. I always thought buying a lot of silver would be smart . . . no it isn't, particularly if what you're saying about owning property isn't a good idea. What good is silver without a head on your shoulders . . . literally? We'll all be found by these "gangs," so possessing anything of worth will be taken.

I was thinking about purchasing property, but your post wiped out that idea. And it seems right. A camper for the back of my truck seems like a good idea, but where would I buy fuel? Who would protect it while I'm gone looking for food to eat?

I think that perhaps its time to surrender completely to Christ and pray for a swift death when it occurs. After all, once on the other side of this physical world . . . it's the best Eternal Vacation anyone has ever imagined.

It's not too late to make the pre-tribulation rapture like Enoch or Elijah.
