Alex and Grigg were a good duo in The Last Starfighter.

You want cheesy, it doesn't get any cheesier than that. Boilerplate space opera all the way.

Scarlett and Rhett. Lets see, she married him for his money, he threw her down the stairs and it killed their baby. Then Scarlett finds out that Rhett really loved her all along but by then it was too late. Toxic

Melanie and Ashley. Great except, they were first cousins. I didnt know you were allowed to do that in the South.
