Well, speaking for myself from my own experience...

As a friend, women seem to possess an almost childlike optimism and eagerness to please. It's sometimes inappropriate but always appreciated. A woman can challenge you to be angry, but always win you with a smile.

As a friend and lover, well... God certainly knew what He was doing! Her softness, her smell, her curves, her tiny hands and feet, and sweet seductive voice... Every inch of a woman makes me glad to be a man!

At least until the honeymoon ends... ;)

Lucky you. I could do without mine.
I hear you. It's a built-in instinct and rather difficult to avoid and quite frankly, it's a burden if our desire is to be obedient and be like Christ. Just remember . . . all things that we do, say, and think, they are all done, said, and thought before the Lord. God sees and knows all things about us. For example, the Lord knew exactly where Saul was as he was traveling the Damascus road. We can never escape the presence of the Lord.

Hmmmmm.... I wonder if Adam and Eve ever told God to give them some privacy?

My wife is my best friend and confidant.

She does some things very well... better than most. Better than me at least.
She understands me. She can navigate waters that I didn't know were hazardous. (And vice versa)

And there's times that I can advise and consent on issues she has at work.

We are ying and yang together.
I don't get that from a guy.

And that's why I can survive the blanket wars and pillow wars and the junk in the bathroom. (How much toilet paper does a woman need? The volume is staggering)

Women can be the anchor in the storm just like we men can be the Vale for their anchor when seas get rough and the winds are blowing.

We were made for each other. I can build a house....but a woman makes it a home (even if she isn't exactly domestic)

Because they didn't bear children until after the fall.

Also, in the Book of Jubilees, it states that Adam and Eve lived in the Garden for exactly seven perfect years . . . and I believe it.

"And after the completion of the seven years, which he had completed there, seven years exactly, [8 A.M.] and in the second month, on the seventeenth day (of the month), the serpent came and approached the woman, and the serpent said to the woman, 'Hath God commanded you, saying, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

If they had been having plenty o sex . . . there would have been children prior to the fall. Seven years of unprotected sex with perfectly functioning bodies would certainly produce children.

I recommend reading the Book of Jubilees . . . it fits perfectly with the Bible and even expounds upon the vital doctrine of Spiritual Circumcision.

They were told to be fruitful and increase in number before the fall, though, in Genesis 1:28 ~

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule
over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

There is no time-line given between their creation and the fall.

Ummmm.... no.
I'd rather exercise the common sense God gave me...
If God taught Adam "everything male and female, and every seed unto its own", then provided Adam with what he needed to procreate (Eve), why would God forbid him to do so? That just doesn't make any sense. That's right up there with mid and post trib rapture, what's the point?

I recommend you just stick with the Bible... ;)

Why men like women!
I tend to like women better because they seem calmer and more relaxed, at least around me. I have been around a lot of men, dozens who think they're alpha, including myself, and it's not pretty. Talk about dysfunction and nonstop competition. Nothing seems to flow seamlessly, production diminishes, efficiency decreases, and the bottom line suffers tremendously. Every day. For ever.

Every place needs a healthy mix of men and women to function at peak performance.

Well... as a combat vet I have to disagree. A bunch of well trained and armed alpha males with one absolute certain goal in mind is a wonder to behold lol...

I have no idea what guys you have been hanging around with but I've never seen anything like that.

Ive worked construction jobs that are mostly men. The exception is the biggest jobs which usually have a few token women on them.

Sure we fuss and feud...but it's gone the next day. We know that we have to learn to work together. And we do. Even with the plumbers and drywall guys.

Yeah, no, I wouldn't trust that. Ever wonder why it was not included in the Bible?

Besides, why would satan fiddle-fart around for seven years before making his move? He had to already know his time was limited. That's the whole nature of time.

Unless of course that whole part in Genesis Chapter 3 about I will greatly increase your childbearing meant that because now people were going to have limited lifespans and die.... there needed to be a whole lot more people to fill the earth and subdue it and so God was going to greatly increase the frequency at which Eve could give birth in order to accomplish that. If you think about it, some mammals are only fertile once or twice a year why couldn't that have been the case with pre-fall humans? Which is why I generally take the view that there's just so much we don't know about the pre-flood (let alone pre-fall) world that could have been so unimaginably different that all our speculation about such things is really just speculation.

I'm a vet too. I would say that every bunch of guys has their own culture and climate. As I am sure you are aware, the military can be more like a circus sometimes rather than the well-oiled machine it should be.

I agree with you. I only wish we all could be so easy going.
