I did go through chemo and radiation prior to my first surgery, then more chemo
into January of last year followed by a second surgery in May, followed by seven
months of wound care. Wow, that sounds like a like a lot and the surgeries for sure
knocked the stuffing out of me, but all in all and all else aside LOL I am well
Although I do require a third surgery.
I hope you and yours are likewise well! Or even better

Amen, and thank you! Yes, the wound care ended a week before Christmas eve day;
I cannot remember when you first left but it was well before then And I should
mention, too, that God has provided extremely well for me through all, shielding me
from anxiety for the greatest part (I did have a moment prior to my first surgery, but
it was really more visceral than psychological). And I almost hate to say it due to
everything else that came concurrently with all that (COVID), but the timing really
was perfect for me. Because with the shut downs I was involuntarily retired but
had just turned 65 so was eligible for ongoing old age (ugh!!!) security and pension
payouts from the government (I paid into the pension plan the entirety of my adult
working life), plus they streamlined all the employment insurance cases to make it
easier for everyone, plus gave extra monies through tax refunds and a onetime COVID
benefit if you fit the criteria which I did. It seemed like they were throwing money at us
for a while LOL. Which contrasted quite sharply against knowing how so many people
were very negatively impacted financially, not just through loss of employment but
maybe even losing their house or business. Even hospital and the cancer care clinic
parking were free the whole time I was going there. I had thought I might have to move
after retiring and that may still be in my future, but that day is not today I hate moving LOL
I have been in the same great neighborhood/place for thirty one years, so it will be an adjustment.

Amazon finally paid me my due after I repeatedly threatened them with lawsuits.
Some people will never do what's right without the fear of retribution.
