do you think it’s possible the reign happens in heaven before the new earth comes and Jerusalem comes down from heaven ?
“These
all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. But
now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
Hebrews 11:13-14, 16 KJV
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God,
believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and
receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.”
John 14:1-4 KJV
“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them,
he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
Mark 16:19 KJV
“but
ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable
company of angels, to the general assembly and
church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,
and to God the Judge of all, and to the
spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of
the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. ….
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:”
Hebrews 12:22-24, 28 KJV
“After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of
all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; and cried with a loud voice, saying,
Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.”
Revelation 7:9-10
“Therefore are
they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and
he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall
lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
Revelation 7:15-17 KJV
“And I saw a new heaven and a
new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And
I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
Revelation 21:1-2 KJV
