Based on context it is a fact not a threat. The fact is he can do it, not that he will do it.

The Body of Christ will have a Body like the Lord`s fit for the highest realm.
The OT saints will have a body fit for the NJ in the Universal heavens.
Those on the NE will have bodies like Adam and Eve.
Everyone suited to their place in all of God`s great kingdom.
Those of the wicked will not have a body, but are just a spirit in darkness. They do not have the pleasure of sight, sound, feeling, taste, etc.
Remember the only LIFE is through Jesus Christ.

Thank you for asking. In Matthew 8: 12 we read -
`But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into OUTER DARKNESS.`
As for their `spirit` that is all they will have as an earthly body is mortal and a spiritual body is only given through Jesus.
`There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body......Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does corruption inherit incorruption.` (1 Cor. 15: 44 & 50)
Well we won’t know wether they are unsaved until the Great White Throne Judgement at the Second Resurrection.......Also Corruption will not inherit incorruption and will not take part in the First Resurrection and must be wearing a white robe to enter the Marriage Supper or they will be bound and cast to outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The wicked are resurrected to be thrown into the lake of fire to undergo everlasting contempt.

Yes, Paul is addressing Christians and finishes that way too. In verse 35, he starts talking about the Resurrected body of all, both saved and unsaved.
I Cor 15
35 But someone may ask, “How are the dead raised? What kind of body will they have?” 36 These are stupid questions. When you plant something, it must die in the ground before it can live and grow. 37 And when you plant something, what you plant does not have the same “body” that it will have later. What you plant is only a seed, maybe wheat or something else. 38 But God gives it the body that he has planned for it, and he gives each kind of seed its own body. 39 All things made of flesh are not the same: People have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds have another, and fish have yet another kind. 40 Also there are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies. There is a physical body. From the Greek Grammar we know that their "destruction" is ongoing, never ceases.
Based on I cor 15:35- they also, get the same kind of body we get.

You make sense...
. I read some material some years back which made perfect sense that our body will be the same as Jesus resurrected body. And we will have a physical body like a Jesus when he appeared to so many on earth, .and when he would ascend to Heaven he would just disappear into the clouds and we will do the same in our Resurrected Body.... we will ascend into a spirit in Heaven and Minister to God and then when we come to earth our bodies will be physical as we minister to people of flesh on the earth. Have you ever thought of this before?

The Bible says there will be two resurrections; one for the saved and one for the unsaved.
Acts 24:15 - and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
Would it make sense that an unbeliever would receive an imperishable body, which is what all believers will receive? No, of course not.
So, it seems the unbelievers will have their physical bodies "raised to life" (resurrection) in order to attend the GWT judgment.
We know this is true because of Rev 20.
4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.
v.4 speaks of believers who were martyred in the Tribulation. Since the context in the opening of Rev 20 is the Second Advent of Christ, this resurrection is the resurrection of all believers, per 1 Cor 15:23.
In v.5 the parenthesis is a reference to the unbelievers. Who will be resurrected back into their physical bodies AFTER the Millennial reign. Following through Rev 20 we find that the battle of Gog and Magog occurs at the end of the Millennium, in which God kills ALL remaining unbelievers. Then all of them will be resurrected for the GWT judgment.
The lake of fire is where all unbelievers will be cast. The LoF is also called the "second death". I used to believe that was a reference to spiritual death, but that doesn't make sense, since all unbelievers are already spiritually dead.
So, the "second death" apparently refers to the unbeliever's physical body dying again, when entering the LoF.
1 Cor 15:23 refers only to believers. There will be a resurrection of all unsaved (Acts 24:15) and when they are cast into the lake of fire, their resurrected body will die AGAIN. Hence, the lake of fire is also called the "second death".
So, not all resurrected bodies are immortal.
btw, the Bible cites a number of people who were brought back from the dead during Jesus' ministry and even afterword, and at least 1 account of such in the OT. Did any of them receive an immortal body? Nope. They all died again.
Verse 35 extends it to all of those who are resurrected including the unsaved. I already gave a break down of the chapter.

- As the soul has a natural propensity to the body, its perpetual separation from the body would seem unnatural.
