I say this with all the humility that is in me. You still need to study the Scriptures my friend. Let me demonstrate the problem in your post. You said: "I didn't say that He said it would come about. I said that it was His will."
If it were the Lord's "will", then it would have come about. What the Lord "wills" cannot be prevented by man. Many Scriptures relate to this undeniable fact. Here are a few:
Job_42:2 I know that thou canst do all things, And that no purpose of thine can be restrained.
Deu_32:39 See now that I, even I, am he, And there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; And there is none that can deliver out of my hand.
Jos_23:14 And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which Jehovah your God spoke concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, not one thing hath failed thereof.
Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me;
Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done; saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure;
Isa 46:11 calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country; yea, I have spoken, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed, I will also do it.

Getting elected.
That's the requirement....
Except for president...the minimum age requirement is 35 and a US natural citizenship born. Other offices don't hold such requirements other than Getting elected.
Arnold Swartzeneger is not US born...so he could never run. And it was a thing about Obama with his birth certificate.

Do you think people who say such things understand that they’re quoting a worldly standard and not a godly one? With this logic, Jesus had to be evil once to speak out against evil. Such garbage.

This is fun no lol. Lets see we hear what Jesus never did..granted everything He did and said there would not be enough books to tell it all they say....oops. Or called names if you don't jump in and get involved with politics. So your involved with politics praise GOD yet Hes not praising you patting you on the back. Nor is He pointing fingers making fun of in any way at those that believe they should not get involved. Yeah its the "Christians" and the "world" that do it. We just LOVE JESUS.
See Hes the one we are to follow and does not condemn you nor judge you. We know how this all ends. To that I say.. we can make the ride not so bumpy or a very scary ride lol. So maybe share why you like to feel you should be in politics with love...you know as if you were talking to JESUS.
