I am completely for being totally tolerant of all religions. Although this is coming from an agnostic, I see it this way: people of all religions believe that their religion is 100% correct and all others are false. People of Hinduism, Judaism, Islam (etc.), they all believe in their religion just as much as Christians believe in Christianity. In that sense, if everybody decided not to tolerate all religions they did not agree with, then this world would never be united. I say be alright with other religions in the sense that you accept that they have their beliefs like they accept that you have yours. You don't have to follow them or worship their God/gods, but there's a difference (to me) between renouncing Jesus and tolerating that some people believe something different.

ok guys i want in on this one... you know jesus is the only way. you are supposed to love everybody regaurdless of their religions. however if you love somebody and you know the way to eternal life wouldnt u want to share that with them? therefore converting is the key. you can be friends with people of all religions but do not tolerate their false beleifs. plant a seed in them and watch them grow my friend

I say God gave use free will to do what we want...some people wanna follow the noble 8 fold path of Buddhism or the balance of Te Ching them that's fine with me.

I'm tolerant with religions in the sense that I wouldn't force or annoy somebody that is OBVIOUSLY not interested in what I'm saying or cares what I do with my spiritual life everyday. Knowing that Jesus is the only way and what happens to the ones that don't follow him , I'd always feel pulled to tell them they need God because I'd feel selfish keeping the truth as a secret from my friends or even strangers.
Of course most of us (I think) would like to go on the streets and yell HEEEYY EVERYONEEE YOU ARE WRONG AND HAVE BEEN WRONG ALL UR LIFE! YOU SEE, JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY! but I guess that wouldn't be very smart and prudent.

So I guess you have to be tolerant and, depending on the situation, take your time to spread the word correctly. If you don't want to look like those crazy people on the streets announcing the end of the world every time it rains, you have to act wisely.

I've not seen anyone advocating we go fly planes into the Burj Dubai, or the Petronas towers as part of a Holy War.

He was attempting to compare Christian rejection of false religion, to the way Muslims regard infidels. Learn about the demographics of Malaysia, and you'll see why I used them.

It doesn't matter if 60% of Malaysia is of Muslim faith they had nothing to do with 9/11 so the implication that they were is off the mark.

I wasn't implying that they were. You're strawmanning my point.


zeroturbulance tried to compare Christians rejecting islam to Muslim actions toward infidels.

Yeah and you mentioned flying planes in to the Petronas towers as part of "Holy War" if you're trying to be clever then you should pick a monument or building that's relevant to your point.

It was relevant to my point. He was trying to draw the conclusion that Christian rejection of islam is just the same as islamic rejection of Christianity, or any other non-islamic religion. This point is entirely void, because I do not see Christians advocating flying planes into buildings in muslim countries.

The 9/11 attack on America wasn't due to America being a Christian Country but more to do with the politics you're country advocates so as you've already launched an attack on Afghan and Iraq maybe a building in those countries would be more relevant. Malaysia would only be attacked if the had some natural resources for you to take advantage of.

It's not down to Christians vs Muslims it's down to Americas support of Israel and their presence in Saudi amongst other things believe it or not some things aren't about religion!

I support israel, because otherwise we'll be dealing with another one of these.


Also, the existance of israel is religious. Read Revelations :)

It's about the politics of your country the fact you remained in Saudi after the gulf war and the fact you sell arms to these countries has not gone down well, it's fact not religion if it was just Christians then why just attack America and the Uk? this is Muslims against politics.
