There have been many threads about hobbies, what we like to do/learn/etc.

What are some things that you REALLY do not like to do in general?

What about the things you know a gf/bf/spouse will expect/want you to do, with or without them, that you dread?

Ironing!! I would rather watch paint dry lol.

And cooking! not because I don't enjoy it, I would be that worried I would poisen them. I think that pretty much sums up my cooking skills lol.

Raking leaves. Nothing is more pointless.

Washing windows.

Shopping...in person. I like shopping online, but not in stores/malls.

Dressing up for an event. Once or twice a year a tie might be tolerated...but no more.

Car repair. I know it's important, but I'd rather have him do it or take it to the shop.

Anything having to do with crawling under the house. Ick.

Anything doing with a fish tank. Been there, done that.. not interested anymore.

Sports.

What if her friends are awesomesauce?

I have more male friends then female friends, so generally what one gets with a gaggle of women? I don't bring that into a relationship.

You can knock me off my pedestal any time.

I don't like to iron either, Phil, but I like sharp creases in my slacks (yes, Stilly, I said SLACKS again haha), so it's one of life's evils. My arms would have to be broken before I would want a guy to touch my clothes with an iron. :)

I also don't like to dry dishes. They will dry themselves.

I will go to Lowe's or Home Depot with you, but I will probably wander off to the parts of the store that interest me...most likely the garden center.

Catching up with your buddies is something you can do by yourself. I really don't need to be the only woman there.

I don't care about sports stats either, Nuke. I will watch the game/play the game, but stats????????? zzzzzzzzzzzz *snort* zzzzzzzzzz

I have a basic concept of how my car, washer, mower and weedeater work. I'm okay with that. Just fix it or tell me we need a new one.

Actually sending out the money for the bills... and dishes.

I would rather do the laundry and wash the floor, and walls. I dunno... I'm an odd one.

Haha YESSSSS. Matter of fact, I'll wander off in almost any store if you're shopping for something I have no interest in.

Unless of course you have many of the same friends because that's how you meet?

I dont like talking to a bunch of people, and even worse talking to people i do not know. I don't like talking to people in groups, it makes me feel funny.

I hate cooking

I dont like anything having to do with cars or anything that requires parts to fix, and dont talk to me about it either cause that annoys me. If its broken, just fix it.

I cant stand sports. The only one i like obviously is running. I wish dodgeball were an official sport cause i really do like throwing things at people.

I hate trying new restaurants. I actually dont like trying new things in general. Im a creature of habit, but especially this restaurants business. I have to know whats on the menu before i walk in there, i mentally decide what im gonna eat before i have even sat down. If we were to go to a new place, and the food is gross. It would be on

If a guy i dated wanted me to do one of those things that i hated... Yeah you can forget that, he's just gonna have to date someone else.

They made it an official sport after the movie "Dodgeball" came out in the late 90's early y2ks. They have HUGE tournaments. It's brutal, but a lot of fun to watch. ESPN used to show it.

As for me? I HATE it when I don't want to do something and the guy is all "Come on baby!!!" and tries playing the card of if you love me you'll do it.

I hate the heat. I absolutely hate it. If it's hot out, forget it. I'm not going outside.

I hate spiders. They all need to die. Along with cockroaches... and I hate it when the guys scream at them. That's my job, not theirs!

I hate it when I go to the gym and a guy tries to pick you up. "Don't my arms look hot?" Yeah... no...

One of the most things I hate is when people say they are Christians but they really aren't.

I actually purposefully avoid dating women i meet through my friends. Not because they are bad women, just i want to keep my friends my friends and not have the different areas of my life intersect so much

I want to learn how to knit, I don't think a spouse would care about though.

I am already crafty and pretty handy around the house. I laid a new porcelain tile floor this weekend. Those things may come in handy if I don't have a handy husband.

The one thing I know I have to get used to is cooking more regularly. I actually am a pretty decent cook and enjoy doing it. But it is hard for me to cook single person portions so I end up with tons of left overs and can only handle eating them for so long. So when I cool I end up wasting alot of food and money. Its cheaper for me to go out to eat a few times a week and eat the left overs for lunch the next day.

Isn't that what a steamer and fluff drying is for, so you don't have to iron?

Especially when they mechanic gives you the little woman attitude.
