Anthony Bourdain who was an american chef gourmet/bon vivant apparently went to 43 different countries on a cooks tour on his travels and said he most wanted to live in a bamboo hut in Vietnam.

why, well I suspect because the street food is the best there and has some French influences.

Apparently he did not include NZ on his itinerary of recollections because when he did come here, he had to hunt his own pig and ride a quad bike, and the quad bike tipped over as they tend to do and he got injured.

Sadly Mr Bourdain ended his life in France in a luxury hotel. His crew suspected something was wrong when he didnt come to breakfast

He is said to have hanged himself. While there are still those who believe he was murdered.
I guess murder is easy to cover that way.

And the motive is said to be political. Because he had all sorts of plans ahead tbat he was looking forward to.
Including his world food tour where he was bringing countries that are typically enemies together to enjoy their native meals that he'd prepare. Peace through food.

If the motive was murder covered up as a suicide that would be truly evil. I guess war makes money. Peace doesn't.

I was just reading about Marilyn Monroe, and the claims that she was murdered
by Bobby Kennedy no less. He didnt want her messing up the presidency and they thought she was a undercover commie.

But all she did was sing Happy Birthday to the President in public. In Japan and Korea she entertained troops. Maybe they were jealous of her fame, I dunno.

Ohh, MM did more than that. She was sleeping with Bobby and John.

There too is the doctors at the time saying they had no idea she'd taken 4 nembutal prior to doctors giving her some sort of barbiturate enema. The combination would cause her overdose. The doctors worried they'd be blamed for the death of a big star like her, and also accused of malpractice. So, they staged her death to look like a suicide.

That's on Wiki. Though I'm not a big fan, that's entirely plausible.

I dont understand the enema, none of the books explain why she was taking enemas. Or being forced to take them. It sounds gross.

This book said that the doctor injected her heart with nembutal and thats what killed her. she wasnt taking any drugs orally, so they dont think it was self-adminstered. No drugs were found in her stomach.

anyway. Back in the day was she going to do a Monica lewinsky and try to get the President impeached or something. I guess looking back from modern day eyes, nothing surprises me of the dirt Presidents get up to.

though I am sure Monica Lewinsky is still alive, as is Bill Clinton.

The other thing people claim is that Joe Di Maggio wanted to remarry marilyn, and they had set a date, but then why she was having fling with married president and his brother at the time I dont know.

Anyway, that aside, it is news to me ppl think Bourdain was murdered. I dont think he was having any affairs with people in power. He had a new girlfriend, but she wasnt like the prrsident or anything

Anywhere that's close to my three children who I love dearly.

Preferably, somewhere with a cooler climate.

Actually, I pretty much have both of these conditions met already, so I'm good.
