Eh... Technically it's going strong again.

But the OP is seolsearch, so she is aware of it.

I'm trying to think of some clever Darkwing Duck line to basically describe how I'm the forum menace that never fully goes away, but so far I got nothin'.

These ones I mostly plagiarised are the best I can do.

“I am the wrong number that wakes you up at 3am in the morning!”
"I am the fingernail that scrapes the blackboard of your soul!"
“I am the low ratings that cancelled your favorite TV show.”
"I am the mouldy onion decomposing in your clean linen closet."
"I am the monster that hides under the CC forum bed."

I am Seoulsearch!!!

Hi @crossnote!

I would definitely agree with your suggestion that "Silence Screams Alone" in reference to my signature, but for me, "Silence Screams Aloud" is for all the times when our silence is speaking loud and clear, but others either don't know what to say or choose to ignore it.

It's the child who is silently screaming for their parents to pay attention to him or her, and the parents know it, but are too busy or don't know how to interact with their child.

It's the grown adult who silently screams for acknowledgement or approval from their own parents or boss and they know it, but choose to say nothing in return.

And of course, it's for the times when we all know someone is screaming at us in silence, but we turn and look the other way.

Right now I have this signature as a way to remind me of those times, and how God has gotten me through them.

Thank you for your suggestion!

Good to see you. :)

LOL!

You two are definitely Darkwing Duck connoisseurs! :D

Awesome to see other fans of classic cartoons like this here. :)

I especially love, "I am the low ratings that cancelled your favorite TV show."

LOL!!!

Yup, that about sums up my threads, for sure.

Thank you for posting these -- they really made me laugh!

The ultimate sign of addiction to CC

You revive threads that are more than ten years old
Even when you havent been here ten years

Ten years later, you can recall with nostalgia the day you were banned from CC for reviving an old thread in your CCs anonymous support group

You go on CC even when you cannot login just to read what others have written though you are BANNED from posting, just to check if anyone misses you

You then start an instagram called EVERY THREAD ON CC

Because you miss it so much - secretly you've been taking screenshots of every thread.

It gets turned into a podcast and then a best selling book

The CC Bible

it rivals the Big Blue Book for ex CCers

You have a spiritual awakening and endeavour to help others as everyone joins CCs Anonymous

Lanolin! Is that YOU?

I was just going to mention.... you might be a CC addict if you get together with CC people in real life, and then spend a lot of time posting on CC and talking about the posts on CC.

And there were trails to hike and waterfalls to see and dragons to slay, but some people just wanted to sit at their home away from home and get on CC.

Your laptop contracted a trojan due to your extended stay on CC, then your willing to shell out good cash for virus removal, just so you can get back on CC.

Signs you might be addicted to christianchat.

1. Your boss is complaining about all the time you spend in the chatroom and is paying HR double time to track your usage.

2. You meet someone on here and ask an administrator to perform the ceremony in the chatroom instead of asking your pastor to perform the ceremony in the church.

3. When the administrator mistakes you for an employee and accidently sends you a cheque.

4. You spend more time typing and texting on a device than praying at an alter.

5. When you can accurately quote every verse of every version of the bible by heart.

6. When you've read and replied to so many issues people think you have a doctorate of theology and minor in counciling.

7. When your power goes out and you start becoming hypertensive and start convulsing because you cant log on to the site.

Hey we did stuff too. Sometimes. You totally missed out on the pinball museum. It was awesome, especially the Beatles pinball machine.

Vacations are for resting, so we were contractually obligated to rest a lot.

This thread has probably already ran before at some point in time, but I'm relatively new, so I'll start...

It may be a sign you're addicted to CC if you're trying to get ready for work and read/answer posts at the same time... and you find yourself wearing your work shirt with your blue satin pajama pants.

And then almost leave the house that way.

Not that I would know from experience, of course. :)

How about you?
Nope. Not addicted.

Yeah... you know, I wonder if the online addiction thing is one reason I'm having such difficulties making new friends since I moved to AZ.
