I am not troubled at all by this, I just believe that it is important to understand how everything started. Just like I thank it is important to understand how things will end. I learned something by doing this, It is amazing how you can overlook one word or phrase that opens up a whole new thing.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Be FRUITFUL, and multiply, and REPLENISH the earth. Why does the earth have to be replenished if God had just made it?

No I use my Strong's , Bible hub, now pastor has a good knowledge of the Hebrew and He will explain what words mean.
I did not ask about words. I asked about language

Different cultures have different ways of writing their literature.

the hebrew people had a particular way in which they wrote things. DO you know what that is.

the hebrew word used there means to be full, to fill, to fill up, to fulfill

the word refill is not used.. For someone who checks into words. You sorely missed this one.

Verse 5 Notice in this verse every plant of the field. There were no farm plants, no corn, no wheat . . . AND there was NO MAN: “ what about all the men and woman God just created on day 6 before He rested on day 7?”
Verse 5 is telling you that before day six there was no man. How does that prove your bizarre theory?

An examination of the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) shows that the word was used
to mean ‘fill’ from the thirteenth to the seventeenth centuries. In no case quoted in
these five centuries does it unambiguously mean ‘re-fill’. The OED defines ‘replenish’
as having 10 meanings throughout its history:

If you insist on using a 400-year-old translation, you must accept that words may have different meanings today. Arguing over them without doing your homework is just silly.

Yes.

It's often called,

"Hebrew double reference" or "recurrence principle"

I am not troubled at all by this.
You should be because this is the end for those who spread heresies:

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." (Gal. 5:19-21)

I learned something by doing this, It is amazing how you can overlook one word or phrase that opens up a whole new thing.
You only learned more heresy.

Genesis chapter 1

[21] And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
[22] And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

The same exact words are used in the underlying Hebrew text in verses 22 and 28 in regard to the great whales, every living creature that moved in the waters, the winged fowl, and the man and the woman.

Maybe these weren't the first whales, living creatures, and winged fowl either and they needed to do some replenishing as well?

It's nonsense.

In both instances, God blessed them, and told them to be fruitful, and multiply, and FILL.

Here's how verse 28 reads in other translations:

World English Bible
God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

Young's Literal Translation
And God blesseth them, and God saith to them, 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it, and rule over fish of the sea, and over fowl of the heavens, and over every living thing that is creeping upon the earth.'

Repent of your egregious error while you still have time to do so.

Yes.

It's often called,

"Hebrew double reference" or "recurrence principle"
I believe "water and Spirit" uses this type of principle, or something quite similar.

There is a term for what I am thinking of, but it does not readily come to mind

That's a different thread, though
;):giggle:

If I am so wrong explain to me why in Genises 1:26 God created people to be hunters, fisherman, gathers, herdsmen. He did not create a farmer. God rested on the 7th day and then what did He do after that? O I know He looked around and said there is NO man, not one man I created in our image on the 6th day that was very good is able to till the ground. I have to do something. I know I will take this mud I made from the mist and like a potter I will create another man.
What a load of Satanically-inspired rubbish.

Let's try this again:

I Corinthians chapter 15

[35] But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?
[36] Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:
[37] And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
[38] But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.
[39] All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.
[40] There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
[41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
[45] And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
[46] Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
[47] The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.
[48] As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

THE FIRST MAN ADAM had a natural, terrestrial, or EARTHY body that was made from the dust of the earth.

Again, FIRST MEANS FIRST.

There were no men or women upon the face of this earth until God created Adam and Eve on day 6 of creation.

Renounce your heresies.

This is why I wanted to stay away from this.
Strong's #119: 'adam (pronounced aw-dam')
to show blood (in the face), i.e. flush or turn rosy:--be (dyed, made) red (ruddy).
You mistake Adam for Edom. Adam derived from “adama”, that is land or ground - from which Adam was formed.

God made the plants before Adam during the creation week.
That is really how simple this is. The sequence of creation had a logic to it. The plants were created before the animals, and man was created after the animals.
