the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
(Romans 8:19-23)
the other living souls were made subject to futility in hope, not by their will -- but man by his own will chose vanity.
they will all be delivered from corruption, along with whoever believes.
By faith, obedience. In obedience, the Grace in the Eyes of God. With Grace, freedom from the travails of this world. Hopefully, the behaviour and attitude in this new found freedom will be demonstrated to the rest of the world as evidence of the Maker so they too can begin to obey.
Seek immortality earnestly, one will be granted immortality by the Grace of God.

kept eating?

how long until "life" wears off?

if the tree of life is a merely temporary ((hence illusory)) effect why isn't the tree of death?
This the vision of Ezekiel. The river under the temple.

Ezek 47:11But the swamps and marshes will not become fresh; they will be left for salt.
12Along both banks of the river, fruit trees of all kinds will grow. Their leaves will not wither, and their fruit will not fail. Each month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will be used for food and their leaves for healing.

With God, old age, decay, injury and death are only things to be healed.

See Rev 22:1-5, same tree, big river and a huge city.

Genesis 1:26
New International Version
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

New Living Translation
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”

English Standard Version
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Berean Study Bible
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.”

King James Bible
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

New King James Version
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

New American Standard Bible
Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the livestock and over all the earth, and over every crawling thing that crawls on the earth.”

Let us make mankind in Our image; that would be in the image of God and the angles. What did God feed His people in the wilderness for 40 years? Manna, what is manna? Angels food. We are created in their likeness.

This is a heresy. We are created in God's likeness, not the angels. It could be they are created in His likeness also. But the bible does not state we are created in the likeness of angels.

Genesis 1:27

New International Version
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

English Standard Version
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

New American Standard Bible
So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Man here refers to the human being or species "the race"

Genesis 1:28
New International Version
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

English Standard Version
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Berean Study Bible
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it; rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and every creature that crawls upon the earth.”

King James Bible
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

New American Standard Bible
God blessed them; and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Notice how God addresses them. He blesses them, tells them to go and multiply and be fruitful, fill the earth and gives them tasks. Some He said to be fisherman, some to be hunters.

Genesis 1:29
New International Version
Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

Who is the our in that verse. Who is God talking to? What did the 2 angles look like that were at the tomb of Jesus. As I have said before do not just throw a jab and run. Show me from the bible that this is HERESY; That is quite a charge to throw at someone.
Job 38:4

Wow. Your contention was that it was never written Adam ate the fruit of life, so Adam was not immortal (whatever that means). What I wrote is that that is disingenuous as the fruit was available and not forbidden. Adam more likely ate than not eat. If Adam kept eating the fruit he would be effectively immortal.
Wow. You really can't read with comprehension.

If we cannot take Genises 1-2:3 as truth then how can we take the rest of the bible as truth. Why would God say He rested from His work and then change everything. Even if God ended every thing at 2:3 that would still have him forming and breathing life into Adam after that. Why is it so hard to believe that God created the races on the 6th day and He created Adam sometime after the 7th day and Eve further down the line than that. That is what His word says happened; Right?
“If we cannot take Genises 1-2:3 as truth then how can we take the rest of the bible as truth.”

yeah we need to understand it too though no ones said it’s not true. But it’s not describing a bunch of different creations just the one.

the first chapter is a general
Overview “ God created everything and gave it to man “ chaoter 2 returns to the creation and shows more detail of how they were created and how they fell.

it’s all true but it also makes perfect sense

That's correct. Chapter 1 is an overview, and chapter 2 focuses on the creation of man and woman, and also shows how God established a relationship with both. Thus chapter 1 speaks only of Elohim (God) while chapter 2 introduces Yahweh Elohim (the LORD God), YHWH being the personal name of God.

There was no "Pre-Adamite" earth, and the Ten Commandments make that crystal clear. Also, there is a logical progression in creation day by day, and mankind was created on the last day (day 6). These were literal 24 hour days as shown by "evening and morning" for each day. The Hebrew day began and ended at sunset, hence evening (12 hours) precedes morning (12 hours). God could have created everything within moments, but He chose a six-day "work week" in order to establish a pattern for mankind. He rested on the seventh day, and hallowed it. Thus the seventh day Sabbath was established.

Not only that, but he makes up things not supported by the text at all and that actually contradict Scripture :rolleyes:

Not much point trying to reason with such. Their nonsense is so deeply ingrained they are oblivious to it.

The "our" is the Godhead, and the charge of HERESY against you is totally legitimate.

You want someone to show you from the Bible that what you've said about man being created in the image of angels is heresy?

Sure.

No problem.

Hebrews chapter 2

[14] Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
[15] And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
[16] For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

In his incarnation, when Jesus partook of flesh and blood just like those who he came to redeem from sin, "HE TOOK NOT ON HIM THE NATURE OF ANGELS" because man was never created in the image of angels, nor is redemption offered to angels anywhere in the Bible.

Got it?

You're preaching HERESY, Ken, and no heretic has any inheritance in the kingdom of God (Gal. 5:19-21).

You should fear and tremble at this reality, and then repent of your error by totally forsaking and renouncing it for the Satanically-inspired nonsense that it is.

We are created in the image of God, not the image of angels. Angels are also created beings.

Further, the image of God is not our outward appearance.

The "our" is the Godhead,
There is good evidence that the "our" in this passage is not God speaking to Himself. For further reference, you may like to read Michael Heiser's The Unseen Realm.

The notion that God created the universe and earth to be populated is very primitive type of thinking. The universe was made for Jesus and by means of Jesus. According to you, for the sake of procreation. Am I wrong?

For this is what the Lord says –
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,
but formed it to be inhabited –
he says:
‘I am the Lord,
and there is no other.
