For this is what the Lord says –
he who created the heavens,
he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,
he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,
but formed it to be inhabited –
he says:
‘I am the Lord,
and there is no other.

The Son of God and the Last Adam

The Line of Jesus through Joseph
The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, and Judah the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, and Perez the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram, and Ram the father of Amminadab, and Amminadab the father of Nahshon, and Nahshon the father of Salmon, and Salmon the father of Boaz by Rahab, and Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah, and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, and Rehoboam the father of Abijah, and Abijah the father of Asa, and Asa the father of Jehoshaphat, and Jehoshaphat the father of Joram, and Joram the father of Uzziah, and Uzziah the father of Jotham, and Jotham the father of Ahaz, and Ahaz the father of Hezekiah, and Hezekiah the father of Manasseh, and Manasseh the father of Amos, and Amos the father of Josiah, and Josiah the father of Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon. And after the deportation to Babylon: Jechoniah was the father of Shealtiel, and Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel, and Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, and Abiud the father of Eliakim, and Eliakim the father of Azor, and Azor the father of Zadok, and Zadok the father of Achim, and Achim the father of Eliud, and Eliud the father of Eleazar, and Eleazar the father of Matthan, and Matthan the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ. So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations. (Matthew 1:1-17)

The Line of Jesus Through Mary

(Luke 3:23:38)

Not enough room for comment. The line from Adam down is not the line you really want to be looking at. You want to follow Eve to Mary because God was, is, and always will be the Father of Jesus Christ "God in the flesh" Why is this important to this thread? To this study? God created Adam and Eve for one reason. They were to be the start of the Jewish people, the mother and father of the 12 tribes. Notice what God said about Noah and his family.
Noah Was a Just and Perfect Man in His Generations: The end of all humans came before the LORD because they rebelled greatly in following the fallen angels. They’d become filthy and without GOD’s Spirit. There was no place for them any longer on HIS earth. Hence, they would become washed away for their impurities and harsh rebellion.

Genesis 6
9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.
10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.
16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.
19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.
20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

If God only created Adam and eve as so many of you have said he did; Where did all the other races come from sence God wanted a perfect generations ?
With that in mind lets go to chapter 2 and pick it up with Verses 5-7.
And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Does any of that sound like what happened on day 6?
And if Eve was created on the 6th day why did God bring the animals before him to name and see if He could find a mate. He did not find a mate nor do I thank God intended for him to. So in the end of Chapter 2 God takes a part of Adam and forms Eve and she becomes his wife.
I hope this helps clear things up.

He has apparently put me on Ignore... as many do when I firmly rub their noses in biblical truth. ;)
You said that at 2:06 PM today I left at 10:36AM and returned at 1:30 PM saw and replied at 2:36 so excuse me if it took 32 min. for me to catchup with you. As far as I am concerned I am going to knock the dust off my feet and move on.

Here I quote post #103
"If adam was not made to be sexual. He would not have been created with the organs and tools to have sex and or procreate.
sometimes people just have to think "

Sure sounds like a vestigial appendage argument.

Here I quote post #108
"But we see in Gen 1: 6 God commanded them to fill up the earth."

The correct verse is
Gen 1:6And God said, “Let there be an expanse between the waters, to separate the waters from the waters.”
Is this what you meant?

Here I quote post #108
"sorry bud, but for the human race, that does not happen apart from the sex act."

The notion that God created the universe and earth to be populated is very primitive type of thinking. The universe was made for Jesus and by means of Jesus. According to you, for the sake of procreation. Am I wrong?
If Adam was not made to be sexual Just how were He and Eve to have kids to start the generations of the Jews that led up to the coming of Christ. If Adam and Eve had no children there would have been no Mary to bring Jesus into the world

The races that exist in our time come from the sons of Noah, the three brothers Shem, Japheth, and Ham. Remember these three brothers also had wives who were also aboard the ark. Genesis 10, also called the Table of Nations, is the main chapter that lists the descendants of Japheth, Shem, and Ham giving the names of the patriarchs, who are the fathers of the most ancient nations. Genesis 11 then specifically focuses on the line of Shem down to Abraham. The rest of Genesis then details Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and the 12 sons of Jacob who are the fathers and namesakes of the 12 tribes of Israel.

Saying God deliberately made man and woman to populate the earth and planned from the beginning of time to burn the chaff of their progeny and sacrifice His Son to save the rest is a pretty close definition to a demiurge or a pagan deity. There must a more fundamental purpose or you are thinking like a gnostic or pagan.

The vehemence that they protect their procreation is quite telling.

Now we even have the heretics arguing with each other.

I think I'll go make popcorn.
