I wonder whether proper grammar is even taught any more as I see so many cases of run on sentences and related errors where people pack an entire paragraph worth of ideas into a single sentence and expect others to understand it as it was clear in their head but they fail to express it either concisely or clearly which is why it’s difficult to provide a straightforward response.
Maybe the folks who didn’t learn proper grammar understand more easily when messages are thus framed.

Interesting question, and I will speak for the young adults in my church that YES, dating is ongoing thing. We're not influenced by the chaos around us but we walk by faith. This should be no different than any other time when the Lord draws two people, male & female, together. God bless you Sho125 and your endeavors!

In fact, I recall reading messages from teachers that were hard to understand due to the abbreviations and texting slang they used.
Of course, on a site like this that is world wide, cultural differences and expressive language differences has a lot to do with how messages come across.

True. If it is clear that the writer's first language is not English, I don't criticize that aspect of their post.

When my (now 24 year old) daughter was in 2nd grade, her teacher sent home a corrected report. The word was "adjust", and my daughter had misspelled it. The teacher marked it, and spelled it in the margin, only she misspelled it also. So I corrected her spelling, and sent it back with my daughter signed. I was blown away. I don't expect teachers to be perfect, but if they are going to mark words off for being misspelled, then they should at least spell the word correctly themselves, when they correct it.
When my daughters text people, they always know who is texting, whether they recognize the number or not, because they text in full sentences with whole words and not text speak. That was my pet peeve when they began texting, so they learned early to use proper grammar. I used to correct their text grammar, also, which helped them learn to watch their spelling and grammar.

Good catch, and I'm surprised I didn't notice the red squiggly line under the typo at the time. And no, I don't think proper spelling is being taught in very many public schools anymore either. Public schools have a weekly spelling list. 5 days to learn these words. Well more like 4 if kids are lucky.
Get the list on Monday, have part of Monday to look them over, then Tue.-Thurs. to "study" and before you know it the day of the "test" arrives on Friday. Yep, that's enough time for getting new spelling words into ones long term working memory

School is mostly for education they dont teach dating at school. I dont recall it ever being taught and I went to a co ed school. It was just something you did outside of school if you had the time and money. Most 13-20 year olds do not have that luxury.

Not sure what they do at christian schools, but I know BIBLE colleges are where some females go to earn their MRS degree.
Otherwise. concentrate on getting your education first. Its important, You dont want to end up like the girl who dated her professor, and ended up being slashed and cut up with a knife, dead at his hands, while he professed innocence.
