Ok, everybody has convinced me to try this place. It is about a 35 min drive from where I am but I probably go by twice a week or so.
Mexican food is not popular here, I dont know why. I like nachos but that has been the extent of Mexican here.
My son loves their nacho fries, but they only have them at certain times of the year out here.

They offer both hard shell tacos and soft tacos.

I normally go with the soft tacos...with some mild sauce.

Yum.

They also have burritos, and a bunch of other items to choose from.

All of you are missing out...

Of course, Taco Bell food is kind-of mediocre (in my opinion) - so, it may cause people to shun better mexican food if it comes along later.

But then, if you rarely eat mexican food, Taco Bell food may taste wonderful to you.

Try it out once or twice and let us know what you think.

For what it is worth - in my lifetime, I have eaten a lot of Taco Bell food - particularly during the teen years through early adulthood (70s-80s) - when I enjoyed their food.

A necessary change in my diet "took their food off the menu" of things I could eat. So, I have not eaten much Taco Bell food in a very long time.

Pretty much what Gary said. It's like buying a used car - not the best in the world, but it'll get you where you want to go. Usually. Or as a friend of mine said about some kind of low-level food, "It'll make a turd."

On the other hand, in some cases that is what you want. I remember one guy talking about traveling the world, and he said he always tried to find a local McDonald's, because there he knew what he was getting. Our local "Mexican" restaurant has been known to serve chopped up hot dogs in tortillas and call them beef burritos, and their flans come out of little plastic cups. The Mexican restaurant one town over is great. But Taco Bell, while not the best or even close to "good" is at least dependable. I can depend on it not being a chopped up hot dog in a tortilla.

I like their food. Definitely worth trying. When they opened up where I lived no one ever went there either but my friends at the time took me there and I really liked it. My friends loved it. That was many years ago but the food still tastes the same.
I tell you this, after eating Taco Bell, you won't be called zeroturbulence! Lol

Can someone in America tell me whether Taco Bell has nice food?
We have a few stores open here now in recent times and I have not heard good reports. Is it just mexican food?
I enjoyed it, but then I am not exactly a connoisseur.

Ok thanks Zero, it may be worth a try then??
Yes. Their food is good and simple. For example their tacos are just ground beef, lettuce, tomato and cheese on a taco shell. They don't use any strange sauces or anything.

Their burritos are good, especially with refried beans!

Yeah, soft tacos with mild sauce. We went south to the border to Taco Bell last week. My wife loves their nacho fries but unfortunately, they are no longer on the menu.

Sad to steer this off food for a sec but lately Imma sympathizing with the homeless. I must at all times be ready with something to eat and/or wear. There was a homeless man going through my garbage can today and was untying a KFC bag my tenant tossed. So I had some pasta salad I bagged, a bottle of oj, got in my car, found him and said it was from Jesus. Such a good feeling to serve.

Jesus said if someone offends a little one who believes in him, its better that that person ties a millstone around his neck and is thrown into the sea.

Sounds like little mermaid's husband...

Anyway. Children/little people, how can you not love them? They need you because you are much bigger and can reach the top shelf in the library.
