With THAT SAID, the Holy Spirit may keep them there for a couple of reasons:
a.) to bear Witness to the Truth in hopes of reaching others who are lost in RCC darkness
b.) they may never acquire the Power of the Spirit to SEE beyond Christ crucified for their sins
c.) only God knows the heart = Hebrews ch4

Idolatry is a very hard thing to let go of = just look at the Jewish People to this day.
Observe the 'pre-trib rapture' idol = a highly cherished/worshipped idol amongst many/most christians today.
JUST AS RCC, the pre-fib rapture idol has NO PLACE in Scripture nor in God's Heart for us and is the main divisive sin today.
I agree a person may remain for a time for various reasons but I don't believe the Holy Spirit would direct a person to stay permanently in that system. Some may stay and see it as a kind of mission field but that's a bad idea and not one inspired by the Spirit, in my opinion.
i agree, but i have matured to know that God is the Source of Eternal Life, Truth and the Holy Spirit so HE alone speaks to that individual and LOVE'S our Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST no different then each one of us.

The #1 reason to reject/FLEE from RCC is that it is a perversion of the Gospel = satanic. John 1:1-21

Agree, however, I think you would find many Catholics do not really pray to the saints and all that much anymore, perhaps more in South America.
In my experience, most Catholics sitting in the pews are very liberal minded, believe in basic tenets of Christianity somewhat, and really do not know all that much about the teachings of the church.

My personal take on holy communion, is that it refers to the communion (gathering together) of people made holy by their belief in and faithfulness towards Jesus.
The act people carry out in some churches, and sometimes called 'Holy Communion', is a contemporary but more often used version of the Passover feast that Israel honours each year.
Before Jesus' ministry on earth, God used various measures, including annual remembrances of significant historical events, to help keep the minds and hearts of the Israelites directed towards Him.
After Jesus' ministry here, each Christian has been given the Holy Spirit who will keep our minds and hearts directed towards God, every day.
