Matthew 24:37,38
37As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark.

Genesis 6:5
5Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.

In the days of Noah, wickedness had reached a point where even peoples’ thoughts were evil all the time. When this happens, God sometimes destroys cities (think of Sodom and Gomorrah) or destroys everyone on earth.

The setting in which Christ will return will when most everyone in the world that is not in the Book of Life are evil and are worshipping the beast.

Revelation 13:8
8And all who dwell on the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written from the foundation of the world in the Book of Life belonging to the Lamb who was slain.

So due to wickedness abounding, another flood of sorts is coming, but it won’t be water. Rather it will be the return of Christ. There will be mass casualties.

Matthew 24:39
39And they were oblivious, until the flood came and swept them all away. So will it be at the coming of the Son of Man

There's more than one correct answer to this question because there are many facets to Christ's second coming.

One such facet is that he is coming to claim his rightful seat upon the throne of David in a yet-to-be-rebuilt temple in Jerusalem from which he shall reign over this earth.

Luke chapter 1

[26] And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
[27] To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.
[28] And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
[29] And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
[30] And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
[31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
[32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
[33] And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Doesn't make sense does it. He's coming again to save the world's elect again from a world that is what it is because it is as God wills.

It's a mystery of faith.🙏✝️😔💕

Why is Christ coming again?

John 14

1Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Christ comes the first time to Rapture all His True Children --the dead first then the living -----

The Second Time Christ comes he comes to separate the sheep from the goats -------it happens at the end of the 7 year tribulation ----- judgment then prevails ----

Matthew 25
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

And where are the scriptures that disprove this?
The entire concept of believing or not believing as found in John 3:16-18. Jesus doesn’t say whoever affirms their being chosen, He states quite clearly, whoever believes. Big difference.

This passage applies to the Resurrection/Rapture, which will precede the Second Coming by at least seven years. Christ does not come to earth at this time but meets the saints "in the air".

However, there are many reasons for the Second Coming of Christ "with power and great glory", when He comes with His saints and angels to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. Revelation 19 gives us the first order of business -- the Battle of Armageddon.

BUT believes in what?

The Historical Jesus Christ?
The worldly view of Christ?
What fallen mankind wants in Christ?
Some false preachers idea of Jesus Christ?
Some author's idea of Jesus Christ?

OR the Biblically correct view of the Person and Work of Jesus Christ?

To say one believes in a person named Jesus Christ is easy. To believe in the Truth, as revealed in Scripture, is hard.

John_8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

Gal_4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

1Th_2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

2Th_2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

1Ti_6:5 Perverse arguments of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Jas_1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

I’ve never met anyone who said they faithfully believe in Jesus Christ but not the Biblically correct view of Him. You guys make mountains out of mole hills that don’t exist.
