If that is true... that is deeesturbing!
Could very well be taken as being disturbing. My late in-laws were the same way during the marriage to my late second wife. They were all ears and blind as can be.

Grumpy Old Men!

Yes

Behold the power!

And as soon as I work enough linament into my joints and find my boots (this can take a while) and then swallow painkillers and vitamins I'm going to find some kid to kick around....if it isn't lunchtime yet.
Just don't kick your dog or step on your cat's tail.

Good point. A bit expensive in Oz. Until I can afford something like that, I'll just continue to be a grump and cast disparaging remarks here and there. When you get old I think the 'being a grump' criterion is written into our job description, so it's all good 👍
Older folks being grumpy is a given. :)

Yes...what a tale of woe it would tell!

It's going to be one awfully big song novel the way it's developing. You'll need one of your beach-side pop up library vans to haul it around 😏

Yes, well, I haven't found the mapping apps always to be accurate, and if intersections run close to each other you can be passing through the one you are supposed to be turning at before you get the prompt. Anyway, this is my confession...I'm a grump and am very good at it...I've had a lot of time to perfect the art over the years 🤨
I'm a grump too if I don't get my Snickers bar. Or coffee.

Don't know if this is a confession, or a complaint, and it's not midnight. But......

Australian local governments, or at least the vast majority of them, are pathetic at providing Street Name signs at intersections, there's such a dearth of them. I don't know whether they do that intentionally because they may be a distraction to drivers, but it certainly doesn't help keep the anxiety levels down when driving in a place you aren't familiar with. Aaaaaargh 😠. Sorry, just a quick IED outburst. Chill Tony, chill 🤒
The state of Maine is the same way. Lived in that miserable place for 8 years. Of course, there is not much to do there so who needs street signs directing you to no place in particular?

its good when the gps works but if it goes out of range and suddenly stops working you could get stuck

So I would be wary of completely relying on them.
with all the roadworks happening out my way (a new intersection with traffic lights is being put in as I type) I will check to make sure the street sign is still there.

the thing with roundabouts is they often say take the second exit if it seems like the road is going straight ahead sometimes so I have to think to manually count the number of exits.

It can be a real maze, esp in Auckland. I avoid spaghetti junction, cos I dont like crossing over 4 lanes left of a busy motorway just to get to an exit.

dreams can be God given or they can be stress related, rarely do you have control what you dream about.
Also spirits can invade dreams (succubi?) for example if you eat too much cheese apparently you have weird dreams.

I dont think we are talking about daydreams here or the dreams as in what you dream for yourself.

If its Jezebel making life a misery just tell her to get lost ...it usually works. But you need Jesus authority to send her packing, which is why he threatened her with the 'your children will get killed' line. If she was actually a cold hearted Jezebel she wouldnt care one whit about her own children.

Try driving through Nasville, TN. Countless entrances, exits, highway changes, etc.. You have to know exactly what lane to be in to make the proper exit(s) to the interstate highway that you want. You think that you are now on the right interstate only to find that a mile ahead there is a choice of 3 or 4 more exits for various interstate highways. Atlanta is a horrible mess too, even taking the bypass is a bit of a nightmare. That city needs a by-pass that bypasses the original bypass.

No kidding about Nashville....it's a disaster.
They have had reasonable road/traffic engineers to advise them how to fix the mess....but they got fired because they told them things they didn't want to hear.
So Nashville traffic is a mess.

If you are traveling east to west or vice versa...there's a bypass that is more than beneficial....Even though it appears that it will take longer. It won't. It will save lots of time. Not miles.

The north to southern routes like 65 or 24....you are stuck. There are some side highways but those are confusing to everyone as well because of the signs.

You definitely need GPS to travel through. And expect to be stuck in lots of traffic. Lots and lots of bumper to bumper traffic going 2 mph.

iron sharpens iron, not an attempt to put down.
If what you read gets you down that is from you and an opportunity to repent and become renewed.
best wishes
