John 4:14-15 (LSB) "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never thirst--ever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.”
15 The woman *said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come back here to draw.”

As a matter of discussion, can we be sincere and respond to either of the following two questions?

1) Are you still thirsty for something more that you thought you would find when you became a Christian for the first time?

2) How do you drink out of the well, and where is this "well"?

Tuesday 8-16-22 3rd. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Av 17 5782 57th. Summer Day

1. I think after true repentance, a person can look unto Jesus for righteousness, this is what I would do.

2. By keeping His commandments as a start, I have found this "well" in Jesus Christ.

1. I am content and full of assurance as pertaining to my salvation, but I thirst for ever increasing growth and maturing in the Lord.

2. God and His Spirit is the well. He is everywhere. My Bible is also the well. It is on my desk. We commune with the Lord through study, meditation, and prayer. It is also helpful to praise and fellowship with others of like faith.

Revelation 3:20
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

I find it an odd thing that generation after generation for thousands of years humans continue to attempt to turn the gifts of God into some kind of work.
Men in bondage to futile labour when liberty is already granted.

But…. what would Love do if It sees someone struggling with a heavy load of “works” based on fear, not love…..

Would Love condemn the person or set them free?

Our words to those heavy laden with “works” need NOT be judgmental or condemning but… SET THEM FREE!

Simply talk about how wonderful Jesus is and ALL the wonderful works He did for us for salvation. Let Truth release them from fear of losing salvation.

Then, how His works are evidence of His love for His Father’s Will and for us!

Last, how our works are evidence of our love for Jesus and our Father’s Will.

Let love be the motivator for any works done.

The Lord is the well, not the Bible. Have you ever heard the Lord speak a word to you?

He speaks through His Word every day.

The Bible is indeed a vast and deep well.

We are to dig a little deeper every day.
