That is not what the verse states.

Read the verse in your beloved Amplified version:

Galatians 3:22 But the Scripture has imprisoned everyone [everything—the entire world] under sin, so that [the inheritance, the blessing of salvation] which was promised through faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe [in Him and acknowledge Him as God’s precious Son]
Gal 3:22 actually reads in the KJV

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Faith of Jesus Christ, its Jesus Faithfulness that saves Gods covenant people, and to them that Christ saves, they will be given the Gift of Faith to believe. The way we know that Christ died for someone is that they will eventually believe.

You are promoting salvation by works, by the acts of the sinner.

so now you're gonna try to bind up Scripture just like you try to bind up faith???

Is there no end to your complete and utter rejection of Scripture???
Yes the bible is a external revelation, words written on paper. They save no one, you can find a bible probably in everyone's house in America, setting around collecting dust. It becomes a internal revelation when God the Holy Spirit gives His revelation inwardly, like when Christ opened up people understanding Lk 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Your delusion is you believe that anyone by nature, can pick up a bible and read it and understand it. Thats error, and disrespectful to the Spirit of Truth. You carnalize and naturalize Spiritual matters.

Provide the posts, brightfame52.

Prove up your claim that I have ever stated "Christs death was worthless".

The only person on this thread who has made such a blasphemous statement is you ... so that lie can be laid at your keyboard.
Whenever you claim that people Christ died for wind up in hell for their sins, that equates to saying Christs death was worthless
 got it ... you can provide nothing to support your claim.

your accusation goes right up there with your claim that Scripture tells us "those He [Christ] died for do not have to believe it, accept it or do anything but continue being ungodly sinners"

brightfame52 aka accuser of the brethren is an apt title for you.

The only person on this thread who has made such a blasphemous statement is you ... so that lie can be laid at your keyboard.
Oh really, please provide that statement !
here is your accusation ... Post #2074:

You saying Christs death was worthless.

You can provide no post submitted by me which proves up your accusation and you will not find any post submitted by me which corroborates your claim.

So again, those words came directly from your keyboard ... you are the only one who has made that blasphemous statement in this thread.

Here's what Paul says about the power of the gospel:

Romans 1:

15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

The words "preach the gospel" in vs 15 are translated from the Greek word euaggelízō which means proclaim, announce, herald.

From HELPS Word-studies:
2097 euaggelízō (from 2095 /eú, "good, well" and angellō, "announce, herald") – properly, proclaim "the good message" (good news). In the NT, 2097 (euaggelízō) refers to sharing the full Gospel of Christ – literally, "gospelizing" that announces the complete message of "the good news" (the Lord's glad tidings).
Why do you waste time doing all that, word studies, and still remain in error. Paul als0 said 1 Thess 1:5

For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

Any reasonable person can see from this verse, that the Gospel can be preached in word only, without the attending power of the Spirit with it.

As I have told you numerous times, Jesus must open ones understanding to understand the scriptures
Do you really believe that a person needs some sort of "special revelation" in order to understand Genesis 1:1?
Again, what you going to do with Lk 24:45

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Men naturally have a veil on their hearts and minds and cant understand scripture spiritually. The natural jews read and heard the scriptures all their lives, including Gen 1:1 and Paul wrote

2 Cor 3:13-15

13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

What you dont understand, mans heart, mind by nature is blinded and incapable of receiving spiritual knowledge, truth.

I know you reject the total depravity of man, but thats another discussion.

Again scripture never said believing isnt an act/work !
 you're still suppressing the truth in unrighteousness ...

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
That scripture doesnt say believing isnt a work, it contrasts Justification by works and Justification by Grace.

Vs 4

4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

But that contrast falters if you turn around and make the act of believing a condition, which you do !

Here's your favorite ... the Amplified: But to the one who does not work [that is, the one who does not try to earn his salvation by doing good], but believes and completely trusts in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God)
Apparently thats your favorite since that is exactly what you do, try to earn Justification by doing good, by your act of believing. your virtue of faith !

Again, no error on my part. there is only one faith.

The issue is not "do you have faith".

The issue is "in WHOM do you have faith".

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism

The error is on the part of your erroneous dogma and your continuous attempts to align Scripture to your dogma. You are to align your dogma to Scripture. Where your dogma does not align with Scripture, get rid of the error.
Yes error on your part, your false claim that all men naturally have been given the Gift of Faith.

you condition Justification on something you do, its works, law !
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith

Salvation is wholly by grace through faith and Scripture is clear that faith ≠ works.
Sounds good, yet you condition salvation on mans doing, that is works and totally against Eph 2:8

Your erroneous dogma only affects you ... your erroneous dogma does not affect the truth of Scripture, nor does it affect me.
Your erroneous doctrine affects others, your propagating Justification by your human faith, which is law keeping.

So now you're saying that Ephesians 1:13 applies to the believer after he/she is born again????

Under your erroneous dogma, how many times must a person be born again before he/she is truly "born again"???
Only the born again believe the Gospel of their Salvation. So Eph 1:13 is describing the regenerated person being brought to faith !

your "human faith" fallacy has been proven to be in error as there is only one faith (Eph 4:5).

your "faith is law keeping" fallacy has been proven to be in error as Scripture is clear that faith ≠ works (Rom 4:5).

Your erroneous dogma does not hold up under the scrutiny of Scripture.

You have built your house upon the sand ...

Matthew 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
.
Yep since you exalt your human faith by your Creator, you are under the Law Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone

It looks like you in the quick sand my friend !

Yes it does, so does Jn 1:12-13

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

John is saying the ones who believed on Christs name during His earthly ministry, those who received His word, had been born of God. He is consistent with that teaching.

I have no problem with Romans 12:3 ...

Since it is you who does not believe Romans 12:3, then it is you who has the problem with God.
.
Sure you have a problem with it, you dont understand it, and have twisted it. You trying to make it apply to all mankind, when its referring only to the saints, particularly at the time of writing, the saints at rome Rom 1:7-8

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

God justifies those who believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead for we are justified by faith. Those who reject God will find themselves rejected come judgment day.

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
.
God Justifieth the ungodly, so that means He Justified them before Faith, just like He reconciled them before Faith and while enemies Rom 5:10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

And so being reconciled to God while enemies, likewise Justified before God while ungodly, and so when they come to faith, thats what they believe.

righteousness is imputed when a person believes
Wrong, righteousness is received[into the conscience] when one believes, it existed before God prior to their believing based upon Christs death for them .

You are advocating works, merit Justification.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
All these refer to the Justified world of the Elect !

Your feeble attempts to make faith a "doing of the Law" are nothing but the musings of your erroneous dogma.

The whole purpose of the law is to bring us to Christ that we might be justified by faith:
No attempt necessary, your human faith error has backed you up into a corner, human faith is part of the Law of natural creation, not my words, but the creators words Himself Matt 23:23

23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. Your human faith is one of the weightier matters of the Law !

So you must keep the whole Law to be Justified before God

brightfame52 said:
ones own faith is works or doing the law
Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 4:5 clearly states faith ≠ works.

Romans 3:

21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe

Rom 3:21-22 clearly states the righteousness of God without the law is unto all and upon all them that believe.
Like I said, ones own faith is natural and it falls under the natural law of creation, therefore its an law obligation, you must do it or else, you are guilty of breaking the whole law,

and you must not just keep it, but are obligated to keep all the Law for you r Justification Rom 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

Now faith/believing in the verses you are quoting, has to do with Christs faithfulness [faith of Jesus Christ] and believing that is the fruit of regeneration. Nothing in those verses pertain to the natural man which you delight in and trust in.

See ya at the Judgment !

nope ... it is a construct of the doctrine of calvinism.

limited atonement is the third letter of the acronym TULIP which is commonly known as the five points of calvinism.
Oh Yes its a doctrine of God, limited atonement is, but you flip it off and scoff at it calling it a doctrine of a man.
