Post Trib -- where did it come from?

There is a strong debate about the church being raptured before the tribulation, during the tribulation or after the tribulation. If you have not studied eschatology you would think that the Bible is not clear on this, that the experts can't figure it out, so you'll just avoid the topic altogether. That is a mistake.

The first seal that is opened after the rapture and coronation of Jesus in the heavens is of the AntiChrist riding on a white horse with his gospel of peace and security, and his phony crown. It is crucial that to prepare the way for the Antichrist you teach there is a post tribulation rapture. The Muslims teach this, Freemason and Jesuit churches teach this.

This doctrine can easily be disproved by 4 or 5 verses in the New testament and 4 or 5 types of the rapture in the Old Testament.

However, one person who I do not think is associated with the Satanists groups and yet is very strong in defense of the rapture being after the tribulation starts is Stan from the Prophecy club. This is because he feels the first rapture is of the firstfruits (I agree) and that the firstfruits represent Hebrews who were slaughtered all the way back to the time of Abraham (I agree with this as well).

Here is where we disagree. I believe the firstfruits were raised from the dead at the time of Jesus resurrection and then were caught up to heaven with Him. Stan ignores them and so has no explanation for them.

Bottom line, the antichrist is not "against Christ" rather he is a counterfeit Christ with a counterfeit ministry and will claim to be "the Christ" returning. If you have been duped by the "Post trib" teaching you could easily be deceived by the AntiChrist.

Temptations, part 1

Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

This is how Jesus earthly ministry began. However, I think this is a template for the tribulation. The two witnesses will also have a ministry that will probably begin like this. Not only so but where is Jesus during the tribulation? He is in his believers. Yes, they denied the Lord like Peter which is why they were left behind, but He has promised to never forsake us. So I think this depicts the start of the tribulation with 40 days of fasting. Imagine something happens so that the entire power grid goes down and all trucking stops for 40 days. You will have 40 days of fasting imposed on the entire city, state, country or even world.

2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

One of the big arguments against the "pre tribulation rapture" is that many believers think they will avoid tribulation, they will avoid fasting. I have always felt that was absurd. I went to an elite university that was very vocal in being atheistic. My first year some Christians met me, preached to me, I was baptized and my life changed. I knew that choosing the Lord would mean giving up many other things. I knew that being public in preaching the gospel and evangelizing the campus would cost me in many ways with the school, the professors, references, job opportunities and everything else. Every genuine believer starts their Christian life like this, there is no avoiding this fast. You give up your friends, you give up partying, you give up drinking, or drugs, or smoking, or many other possible sins that you did in your former life. Also, I like the way this says "afterward he hungered"! What, he fasted for forty days and only afterwards did he hunger? Yep, that was my experience. I didn't care about all the things I gave up. I was enjoying the Lord too much to care. I remember being in a class and the professor was stunned that I did not know anything about 3 mile island. I did not have a TV and did not tell her that. My life was extremely spartan. So I asked her what it was, she said the nuclear power plant in NY had had a leak. The university was in Houston, Texas. This had no impact on my life, however, the time spent in the word, in fellowship, in worship, in evangelism, all that was transforming me and saving me on a daily basis. However, years later after being a full time worker, a full time missionary, I came to the lowest point in my life. This was my "my God, my God, why have you forsaken me" moment of bearing the cross of Christ. At that point I hungered. That was when Satan came with his temptations.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

In other words, what good is being a son of God? What is it good for?

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

This is where we learn what you are made of. It would have been so easy to become disillusioned. Wherever I looked everyone was successful, good careers, nice homes, nice families, and I had nothing. I can see why Demas forsook Paul. But then I realized, I do have something, I have the word of God. When I first came to the Lord it was my prayer and desire to be able to open the Bible to any page, read it and understand what the Lord was saying. He had answered that prayer. I had twenty years filled with experiences of the Lord that made the word of God real to me. At this lowest point my younger brother got married and I spoke at that wedding and the Lord gave me just a wonderful word to speak. That word was like a priceless treasure. I realized this is what I had wanted, it had cost me everything I had, but I was happy, no regrets.

5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Have you ever thought about this? When I was in high school I had prayed to the Lord even though I hadn't been baptized yet. I had prayed that I wanted confirmation that I was really hearing from the Lord and the confirmation was just like this. I was in an amazing situation where I should have died and yet I came out of it without a scratch and without even worrying about getting a scratch. Another time, in High School the football team was locked on the 2nd floor and we couldn't get down to the field which was two or even three floors lower than us. I was standing on a balcony and there was a tree which I thought I could jump to. However since I had the football uniform on I couldn't grab the branch. As a result the branch bent down real low depositing me on the ground, on my feet with a very gentle thud. It was exactly like being born by the hands of angels to make sure I didn't hurt myself. At the end of high school I went on a bicycle trip with a friend. We were riding down the shoulder of a highway when all of a sudden the pavement turned to gravel and I was thrown off my bicycle into the highway. I had my eyes open and I fell right on top of the trunk of a car that was doing 65. It was going so fast that I didn't even touch the car. If I had fallen a fraction of a second sooner I would have been hit by the windshield or front of that car and killed. A couple of years later I was driving overnight to Dallas to catch a plane to be with my family. I fell asleep driving at 65 and woke up as I had driven into the median, I jerked the car back into the highway slamming on the brakes but the car skidded so I was now going backwards down the highway at 65 and then suddenly flew off to one side. I wound up about twenty or thirty feet from the highway. If I had flown the other way it would have been into head on traffic but instead this put me off into a grassy field. Most other cars would have rolled a few times, but this car didn't roll. However, the car was broken and wouldn't work. This was 7 in the morning and my flight was around 9. Fortunately I was directly across the street from a 24 hour mechanic and there just happened to be a foot bridge there to walk across the highway. This guy immediately came out and towed my car back which was pretty amazing, but then some guy with a Cadillac was annoying him so he decided to fix my car first. Some rod had broken, he fixed it for $5 and I made it in time for my flight. It was absolutely incredible. My point is this verse is true, I have had angels who have watched over me and kept me from being hurt. But I don't tempt them. I'm thankful for them and when I see the Lord in heaven I am going to put in a very good word for them.

Temptations part 2

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

At this lowest point in my life I began working as a stock broker. First I was a cold caller and you had to prove yourself there before they would let you take the exam. However, once they let me take the exam I knew I'd become a broker. They didn't pay you anything and so at that point I was broke. Then you must work for another broker to open up 20 accounts to be able to work as a broker, I did that in record time. Then I was working in partnership with the biggest broker in the firm because they saw that the accounts I was bringing in were all high net worth people. This guy made over 200k a month. Every month that he got paid he would go out and buy a house. He was converting his money from selling stocks to owning real estate properties which he rented. I was about to get paid 20k for my first month when I became aware that they were breaking the law. Not something trivial, but blatant violations of our fiduciary responsibility, defrauding our clients. I could not go along with this. They seized everything I had, and refused to pay me. This is how Satan works, here you can make 200k a month, you will have whatever car and house you want, all you have to do is bend the knee and worship Satan. Don't do it. That firm was out of business within six months of me leaving. All of those brokers were sued. I was the only one who was not sued.

10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

It is so much better to go to bed with a clean conscience. Better is a little in the corner of a house, than to have a mansion, a luxury car, and a stack of lawsuits. Stop justifying yourself. Stop saying "everybody does this". Judgement is coming on everybody because they do this. Look at Bernie Madoff, it doesn't matter, the day of judgement will come for all and then you will regret having anything to do with them.

11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

I was given a lot of help. My old firm was trying to destroy me because they knew at some point I could sue them. Every job requires you tell them the last three places you worked. The first place I went hated that company so they hired me but then eventually the company convinced them to get rid of me. The second company was a friend of mine who knew all about that company and so he got me a job despite whatever nasty things they said. Then the company had gone bust and were being sued and so I was able to get a job with a very large firm. A few years later I moved from there to teaching for NY and they were no longer one of the last three companies that I had been at.

My point is that all who will live godly will suffer trials and tribulation. Everyone who follows the Lord must take up their cross and follow Him. Some will do this willingly prior to the tribulation. Others will think they can have their cake and eat it too. During the tribulation they will have to choose, either you are for the Lord or you are for the Antichrist, there is no longer any opportunity to ride the fence.

I have been listening to this brother for quite awhile and up till now it has always seemed like this was a puzzle he still hadn't solved. But this time, it looks like it has all come together. Really amazing. Come Jesus, come!

To Prep or not to Prep -- It is the final countdown

We are told clearly in the NT that half of the ten virgins who thought they were going to the wedding feast were locked out because they had not prepared oil in their vessel. Now without any doubt or dispute having oil in your vessel is not referring to storing up gasoline for a generator. We are talking about having a personal, daily relationship with the Lord.

However, if you are not raptured then at that point having gasoline stored up for your generator might have been a very good thing. We are told that two will be grinding wheat and two will be in the field and two will be in the bed. In every case half of them are not raptured.

We are also told that many who thought they would be raptured were not raptured.

We are also told throughout the Bible that God does not rebuke people for being prudent, wise, or to heed warnings. So then, take this to the Lord. All signs point to the tribulation beginning with the Fall feasts this year.

1. It is the start of a New Shemitah which aligns with the 70th shemitah in Daniel.

2. The 5 red heifers sent to Israel indicates they will rebuild the temple this year, also supported by them saying "it is time to build the third temple" and the announcement that they will have a new train that runs directly from the airport to the temple mount for Passover.

3. The two fig tree prophecies will both perfectly align with the tribulation beginning this year, but not with any year after this year, especially not seven years from now.

4. The two cows with the 7 indicate that the seven years of famine began in the fall of 2021. Therefore it would not make any sense for the next Shemitah to be the tribulation.

5. The plan to switch to a digitized currency this fall aligns with the tribulation and mark of the beast being rolled out in the next 3 years.

6. According to Joel the worldwide Pandemic was a sign to the whole world that the day of the Lord was at hand.

If the salt has lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted? It is good for nothing

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

We quote the first part all the time, but what about the part about "losing your saltiness" This verse makes it clear that the Lord Jesus made His believers, His church "salt" and that if they lose their saltiness they are good for nothing but to be cast out. Many churches have "lost their saltiness". They decide this verse and that verse are not applicable. They are throwing out verses from the Bible about Pastors being the husband of one wife, or about the works of the flesh, or about sin. They are throwing out the "salty verses" and as a result they have lost their saltiness. They try to claim that this is what a loving Jesus would do who desires all to be saved, but this verse makes it clear, no one would want salt that has lost its saltiness and Jesus wants us to be salt.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

These are FreeMason churches. Jesuits will put money into a church so they can control what they say. For example, they may say you can talk about anything but the rapture. That sounds like a good deal, but then as all the signs and prophecies of the Lord's return are taking place and people are coming to hear what the Pastor will say, will he shed any light on this, no, the light is covered up with the offering basket.

Daniel 5:24 -31 Your Kingdom is given to the Medes and Persians

24 Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription. 25 “This is the inscription that was written: mene, mene, tekel, parsin 26 “Here is what these words mean: Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end. 27 Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting. 28 Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

What we see today is quite similar. The US is divided. It is easy to see that the days of the US are numbered. It is also easy to see that the leaders of this country have been weighed in the scales and found wanting. The UN is dominated by two factions, an Islamic faction, and an Asian faction. If the US position of superpower were replaced today by the UN it would be by those two factions. I would point out there have been numerous prophecies made that the US will be attacked and destroyed as a superpower in an single hour. 30 years ago the collapse of the Soviet Union was the fulfillment of this prophecy "When they say peace and security", 20 years ago 9/11 was the beginning of birth pains, at the time there were 9 harbingers that Jonathan Cahn goes into that show the US was obstinate and would be judged. Then on 9/11 the US ambassador meets with the Taliban to discuss our exit, and then when we do exit the deadline is 9/11. We were there for 19 years, we had to leave before the 20th, that is a Biblical number for judgement. Now we get this word from Vicki Goforth Parnell that the judgement is here (post#5829).

29 Then at Belshazzar’s command, Daniel was clothed in purple, a gold chain was placed around his neck, and he was proclaimed the third highest ruler in the kingdom. 30 That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain, 31 and Darius the Mede took over the kingdom, at the age of sixty-two.

There have been prophetic dreams that California fires will be so bad that they have to evacuate the state on 9/11. Know this that evacuating on that day is not a coincidence. It is the writing on the wall. In my opinion 9/11 was the greatest crime committed by these blasphemous leaders in the US (prior to Covid). It is ridiculous to claim that Al Qaeda did it. That crime set in motion many others leading us to this point. The pandemic has taken 9/11 to a whole new level. You have a virus created in a lab that targets the elderly (the average age of those who have died from Covid19 is greater than the average life expectancy). It is a virus designed to exterminate the elderly. Then we had political leaders like Andrew Cuomo who maximized this impact by sending sick people into nursing homes. Fauci financed this research and then did everything he could to obfuscate and delay our understanding of it costing more lives. They prohibited the use of effective treatments. Now they are mandating a vaccine which is more dangerous to many people than the disease. Meanwhile they use the pandemic as an excuse to bankrupt the middle class causing the tech giants to rake in a fortune. Our profligate Biden administration has hooked a vacuum cleaner up to the Fed and is vacuuming up dollars at an astounding rate, trillions and trillions of dollars. This “great banquet” is the final straw.

We live in an amazing time, it is like seeing the big finale of a play.

Amazing characters are entering and exiting the stage.

Bill and Hillary Clinton as Ahab and Jezebel.

King Charles the III enters and Queen Elizabeth exits. (Hmmm, wonder what his role is, to be named later)

Prince Harry becomes the kid who Voldemort tried to kill but his mother protected him with love, dying instead.

Justin Trudeau and Emmanuel Macron. -- key characters in any Shakespearian play.

Barack Obama as Gog

Putin and Xi.

And then on the good guys you have Steve Bannon as Mordecai, Q as Queen Esther,

Just as the Antichrist is about to be named so too the two witnesses are about to come forth.

For Elisha we have two prophets who are telling us what Satan is saying behind closed doors.

For Jehu we have Donald Trump.

We have a number of people playing the role of Shimei.

We have the US playing the role of Babylon the Great, the habitation of devils and hold of every foul bird, and a cage of every hateful and unclean bird.

and we have the Pope in the Vatican playing the role of the Great whore. This is the mystery of Babylon the great, the mother of harlots (denominations) and abominations (Jesuits, FreeMasons) of the earth.

Mike Lindell becomes a man from among the prophets chosen to anoint Jehu, the one others at first think is a maniac.

And with all this going on the one thing no one but the Lord Jesus sees is God's masterpiece, the church.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

The Three Gorges dam looks like a womb, at the time of the rapture "the water will break". If the three gorges dam were to flood it would be catastrophic to 500 million people living along the Yangtze river basin, the industrial heart of China and it would be catastrophic to all of China's electricity output.

However, watch this video, you can see all the reservoirs, lakes and river bed of the Yangtze have dried up. This will greatly help swallow this flood.

The stage is set for this event.

More on John the Baptist and the tribulation

11 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

This is a nice contrast with the "Once Saved Always Saved" doctrine of say the magic words twenty years ago and don't worry about the Lord's commandments. The Lord has given us some commandments and it is because they neglected these that the saints who are left behind are left behind.

2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

So being cast in prison with your head about to be chopped off definitely sounds like the tribulation. So why is John sure that Jesus is the Christ? I suspect the saints saw the rapture, however they are not that clear that the path for them includes being martyred.

4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

The tribulation will be a time of miracles testifying that Jesus is the Christ.

Compare the account of John the Baptist in Luke

60 And his mother answered and said, Not so; but he shall be called John.

61 And they said unto her, There is none of thy kindred that is called by this name.

62 And they made signs to his father, how he would have him called.

63 And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His name is John. And they marvelled all.

64 And his mouth was opened immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.

Luke describes a bunch of devout saints who knew John from the time of his birth. Matthew and Mark describe saints being woken up at the start of the tribulation by his ministry, but here these saints are seeing signs and prophecies being fulfilled, keeping all these things in their heart and they can see the coming of Jesus six months before Jesus is even born.

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)

Daniel is the only prophet that the Lord mentions by name and it is in answering this question concerning when these things will be. Then He says "let him understand". I have always thought that if the Lord says this and we think we understand, there is probably a whole lot more to understand that we don't yet. This video may be touching on that.

Daniel 9:1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, which was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans; 2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

By now we should all be very clear that the tribulation is about to start.

3 And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes:

This should be our response.

4 And I prayed unto the Lord my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments:

This is the apostasy. We can see many churches have done this. They have departed from the word and from the judgements doing what is right in their own eyes. Some say that the word is "out of date" and only applied to the time back then. Others say not to make waves, church is all about the size of the crowd. Heap up those with itching ears to hear how they can be rich and blessed and have a mansion and a luxury car.

6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.

Yes, many Christians have mocked the servants of the Lord, "no one knows the day or the hour" became "no one needs to watch or pay attention". Instead of saying we must watch even closer it became a license to not do our job.

7 O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

Yes, right now to the believers belongs confusion of face. What is going on in our schools? What is going on at our border? What is going on with the law courts? What is going on with Putin and Xi and Biden? What we are seeing is the day of the Lord coming like a thief, just as we were told it would and the Christians have dropped the ball, not watching as they were commanded to do.

8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.

Why are they accusing Lincoln and Roosevelt of being racists? Confusion of face. They don't know the history, they don't know the blessings, our children have not been taught the truth and that is because we have sinned against thee. You commanded fathers and mothers to teach their children.

9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him; 10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

All of the laws and precepts of God are precious, preserving the soul. Yes, we were washed by the blood of Jesus and redeemed by that blood. But that should have caused us to repent of our rebellion, to turn to obey the voice of God and to walk in His laws.

11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him.

Open your eyes, the curse is poured upon us. We all know what happened on 9/11, the US had a false flag event take place killing 3,000 in a human sacrifice to Moloch and Baal and this was used so that they could pass the Patriot act, making the US even closer to a tyranny and it allowed us to seize the oil fields in Iraq, the largest oil reserves on Earth next to Saudi Arabia. But what happened on September 11, 2022? On this day we were told that instead of making some poor arabs in Iraq the villain that must be killed they will now make 75 million Americans who are questioning the stolen election the villains.

12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.

Meanwhile we see the war in Ukraine progressing with more and more countries joining, the threats becoming more strident and the Ezekiel 38 war more imminent.

13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth.

Have you been praying? Have you turned from your iniquities? Have you been seeking to understand the truth? There is no doubt that for the majority of those on this earth the answer is no.

14 Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice.

We recently found a mass grave containing 440 bodies in Ukraine. There is a lot of evil that has taken place on this earth under the eye of the Lord.

15 And now, O Lord our God, that hast brought thy people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and hast gotten thee renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly. 16 O Lord, according to all thy righteousness, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy fury be turned away from thy city Jerusalem, thy holy mountain: because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and thy people are become a reproach to all that are about us.

Why do you think the US and Israel are a reproach to all that are around? For all the wonderful discoveries and modern technology how much have we actually helped these countries to become independent and stand on their own feet? Not at all. They fear drones from the sky killing them indiscriminately. They know we use loans as a way of seizing all they own and controlling it.

17 Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.

19 O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

Today we see this big funeral procession in London for Queen Elizabeth. Britain was where the worldwide evangelism first began. England is the mother of the US. According to the Bible they are the "mother of harlots".

Daniel 9:20 And whiles I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before the Lord my God for the holy mountain of my God; 21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation.

This chapter is very prophetic, but it all starts with prayer, repentance, supplication and confession of sins.

22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding.

For years we have been gathering pieces to the puzzle like a giant jigsaw puzzle, but now it seems more than at any other time the pieces are all coming together.

23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

I suspect that Daniel here is a type of the church that is in Babylon at the time of the Lord's return.

24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

9/24? Rosh Hoshanah begins on 9/25. Is he saying that this will be the start of the 70th week? Will the tribulation begin this next week?

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

Are we going to see this commandment go forth in the next few days? The red heifers have arrived in Jerusalem. I suspect that like Jesus, they have been examined for spot or blemish. If they approve them does that mean they will give the order to restore and rebuild the temple?

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

This is the great tribulation we are talking about.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The UN opens next week, will they confirm the covenant with the many next week for the one week of the tribulation, the 70th week?

The Tribulation eliminates all the gray area. Either you are for the Lord or you aren't, no more riding the fence.

The prophecies are like a great train rolling down the tracks, doesn't matter if you support it or not. Try and stand in the way of God's word being fulfilled and you will be run over.

I rejoice in every prophecy being fulfilled and this is why:

1. While preaching the gospel over the last forty years you hear so many mock and ridicule God proclaiming to be atheists, etc. Every prophecy that is fulfilled is powerful evidence and a testimony to the entire world that God is faithful and will do what He has said He will do. You can embrace it, reject it, even mock it, but in the end you will be held accountable for your actions and seeing these things takes place should help many who were genuinely unsure to turn to the Lord.

2. If you understand the tribulation you do not see it as a curse.

Tribulation is likened to the heavy roller that rolls over the wheat to separate the grains from the chaff. That is what will happen during the tribulation. All of us have a kernel of faith surrounded by a bunch of opinions which are "chaff". We need that chaff blown away.

The tribulation is a mercy. Is it horrific, yes. Do billions die? yes. But it is done in such a way that believers can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that backsliders can repent, and that everyone who thinks demons, fallen angels and hell are a joke can get a little foretaste so they know exactly what they are choosing (or hopefully rejecting).

The Tribulation eliminates all the gray area. Either you are for the Lord or you aren't, no more riding the fence.

Do you really want to go to heaven and be surrounded by all the saints and men of faith? Think of this life as a great big football game in the rain and the mud. Do you want to return to the locker room without a drop of mud on you? That just shows that all you ever did was sit on the bench. The tribulation makes sure everyone gets into the game and gets to play. Screen Shot 2022-09-19 at 10.20.15 AM.png
