Romans Chapter 2
God has told us in the first chapter that I have created earth in a natural way and if you just look at nature you can see God's way. God is not only natural He is Supernatural.
Verse 1. Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
Everyone brakes a low every now and again it may not be the same law every time and it may not the same low someone else brakes. You want to be very careful for non of us are perfect we all slip up one way or another. Our father is the judge; He does not want you to be judging people. I do not want you to thank that I am saying to do away with spiritual discernment, that is a gift from God to discern what is right from wrong, what is of God and what is of man. That discernment does not give you the right to judge people. God can handle that He does not need our help.
Verse 2. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
Gods judgment is and will always be perfect, mans judgment on the other had is less than perfect. His judgment is against those that brake his laws. I should not have to add this but I will. We have rules of law in my state That may differ from another, and laws in our country that may differ from others. We have to fallow them and if broken; we may be called to judge someone That is different. This also does not mean that if you know someone that is braking either God's or man's laws you confront them with it, in the right way go to them alone pull them to the side and point it out. If someones teaching does not line up with the bible point it out from God's word tell them why you thank it is wrong; maybe there was a misunderstanding. You get what I am trying to say. There is a difference between telling and showing someone what they are doing is wrong and judging them.
Verse 3. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Paul is saying, do you think that you are going to get away with it when you judge another, for that sin is placed back on you? If you do find pleasure in judging others, there is a sad awaking ahead for you.
If that person has repented of every sin that he or she has ever committed, then you had better not accuse that person of anything, or God will put that sin you accused him or her of, right back on you. God is saying that if you judge someone, and you bring that judgment on them, God will judge you for the same thing. You have no rights to judge anyone for sin, God alone is the judge of men and women on all matters. This is just common sense, and it is letting what is natural flow on itself.
Help then if you can by teaching the truth, but don't point fingers. If a man hate God's Word, then let him die in the natural way, even if it be in their spiritual death. No man can escape the judgment of God, and this judgment of God will be that person's rewards. Remember, upon repentance to the Father in Jesus name we are made perfect in the eyes of God.
Verse 4. Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
Our Father “God” is long suffering, that is why you want to leave judgment to Him. You can read that in 2 Peter 3:7&8 That God is long suffering and wishes none to parish; that is not going to happen but that is what His wish is. He will correct a little here and there, thump a head or 2, or in my case use a jack hammer. He does not do it in some supernatural way like He did with Paul(I am not saying He couldn't) He works in a more natural way. He let me get myself to a point I turned back to Him. He let me push myself to the brink and then through me a lifeline and I took hold of that thing ad I am still hanging on for dear life. I do not thank anything or anyone will knock me down like that again. We serve a wonderful God.
Verse 5. But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
When you breakaway from God and you do not repent that is the way it is going to be. The treasures you lay up to that day of wrath; That wrath is going to come. There is the other side of the coin you save up your Good works and on that Day of Judgment you will be reworded with the crown and a long white rob and the words of praise “well done My good and faithful servant; inter in the rest of Your Master” Make no mistake about it His wrath is coming and in good measure. The 7 bowls will be poured out upon the earth. You do not one one of them poured out on you. It is so simple the love of Jesus Christ who of His own free will gave up His life for us that upon repentance of sin we get washed clean and our sins of the past(Romans 3:25) . If you judge people,if you keep after people, you bring nothing but the wrath of God down on your own head. You might be saying to yourself I m a child of God, not so if you are judging people. You are a pretender.
Verse 6. Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
Listen to just how kind and fair God is; Who will render to every man according to his deeds, his families deed, his coworkers deeds. NO! Only to his deeds and his deeds only. God judges you by your own actions and you will get everything you got coming to you. If it is blessings and rewords you can bet you are going to get it. If it is correction; then correction you will get. Your own deeds set your sentence this is why Christianity is not a religion, it is a reality, a way of life. Upon repentance because of the blood of Jesus those sins that you have committed are washed away. I just mentioned Romans 3:25 I am going to give it to you as we wrap up this part of the bible study.
3:25: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
God Bless you
I look forward to what you have to say.
