Thnx for the help. I worked different kind of electronics high power Rf design mostly class C amplifiers PHI in Torrance, Ca sub of M/A-COM from Massachusetts. Used computers for design work Touchstone Program run on DEC computer 1987. Relatively complex too.....technology we have is in my opinion not conducive to healthy living or society as God intended. 2nd Advent we will probably be busy restoring to Gods' way...Garden of Eden. Millennium enough time to clean up this mess?
Claimed age from her profile. She joined in 2014 shortly after her 13th birthday, either that or she lied about her age when she joined but there is no way to confirm that. Obviously her profile pic would lean towards her being very young, but she may not have changed it in the six years she's been here and I have no way to check.

Seriously: You thought there was a problem, you reported it, and that should be the end of the story from your end. Go do something else. Read a book. Eat a brownie. Pet a cat. Read a different thread on the forum.

Thnx for your concern. A brownie! Sounds good to me.....unfortunately my cat died about a yr ago.....listened to some Charles Spurgeon.....my eyes are already tired from all the screen time......my sleep patterns have been erratic all my life.....Oncefallen appears to be casting NASTERSIUMS and making accusations and placing blame where it seems management should show concern so this needs resolution and my original message was to RoboOp and as yet received no reply. Also no brownie but PB&honey on crackers and aren't you and I involved with nutritional aspects of sugars and the types of sugar and you recommend brownies. For shame.Uh... No idea why Oncefallen would throw flowers at you,.. but he is doing his job well, especially for somebody who's not getting paid.
He certainly is showing a lot more patience with you than I would have had. Which is the main reason I would not want to be a moderator. I wouldn't have the patience for this crap.

So yeah, about computers... I have a confession to make. I haven't run a Linux distro in about half a year now.
I know, I know...
I tried out a different ISP with pretty good prices, but low hotspot caps. So during this trial I set my phone on a stand with a bluetooth keyboard and mouse as my primary internet interface. No hotspot, no worries.
The ISP trial was disappointing, because it was with a T-Mobile MVNO (Mint Mobile) and T-Mobile tower placement in this area is very inconvenient for me. I moved on to an AT&T MVNO (Red Pocket) and it looks like I'll be with them for life. But the phone-as-primary-internet-interface stuck. I'm using it now to type this post.
I even gave to somebody else the dino laptop I was using to run Linux Mint from a flash drive.
Do I have to turn in my nerd card? I still have Linux Mint on a low profile flash drive, and I can boot it on my windows computer if I need to format a hard drive or something.

Are you streaming your phone in a larger screen like a TV by the way or are you reading on the phone with your keyboard and mouse?
Also what are the prices in Tennessee for internet? In the Massachusetts /north east area you could get gigabit internet for around $60 a month.

I'm using Red Pocket, an AT&T mvno, and I'm getting 100 gigabytes a month for about $32 a month... If you pay for a whole year at a time. Bonus: No hotspot restrictions. I checked. I could hotspot the whole hundred gig if I wanted.
I don't use a traditional home internet connection. My phone IS my internet connection. So mobile data caps matter.
For people who rely mostly on a home internet connection and blow up hundreds of gigabytes a month on Netflix and Hulu, it would be slightly impractical.
No no I mean like for using a large screen.
For apple devices you can stream your phone via Bluetooth and then see everything on a large screen. You can do this on an android im sure. I don’t have an android that’s why I’m asking.

No, just my phone on a little stand.
I could use desktop mode, but the hacks that make it usable are still really dodgy.
I could get a Samsung with Dex mode, or a Moto with Ready For, or a Huawei with EasyView... But money. But it would be sweet to get a Moto that transforms into a whole desktop when I connect it to a big monitor.
