Hebrews 12:2
2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

what are you talking about ? Gods word is binding your trying to seperate faith from Gods word thats not possible

if you hear what God said and believe it’s true that’s faith if you refuse to hear what God said it can’t be faith faith is in the word of we hear and believe the word faith is planted in us

are you going to explain “ the faith of Christ “ and how that’s not us having faith in Christ ?

What happens if your version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" is full of errors because it contradicts another person's version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone"? Which one of you is binding?
I suppose the third option.

Jesus Binds!

Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.

If your version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" is wrong and contradicts someone else's version then you are in trouble.

Phillipians 1:27
Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel,

Whose Version of “Faith Alone” and “Scripture Alone"
A lot of people are saying the question isn't clear and I think I see why. It should read more like "Which version of "faith alone" and "Scripture alone" is binding?"

"Whose" is a pronoun so people immediately think you're referring to a person. In Christianity, people don't set the parameters for what our faith consists of or what the Scripture says. God sets the parameters for the specific points He requires us to believe in. Many Christians use that unspoken pretense to filter your question through.

Your question is getting lost in translation because it introduces the possibility that there is more than one version than "faith alone" and "Scripture alone" and there isn't. I was able to notice this within a fraction of a second of looking at your question, but it's taken a lot longer to explain it.

Ephesians 4:4-6
4There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called;
5one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Jesus Binds!

Matthew 13:30

Amen.

I think I understand where you're coming from now. :giggle:

You want to play trivia? That's great and I love Bible trivia, but the answers here probably won't be so simplified. Of course, the correct answer is simply "Jesus" but people tend to think about it much more in depth.

Where in the Bible is a list of whose version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" is binding?
There isn't such a list, period.

I don't know why you have a bee in your bonnet over this topic, but it's clear that you do. You have been asked more than once for some background to this question, and you have responded with spite rather than explanation. So, unless you can step up and provide such, I will have to conclude that you are either in need of training on how to foster discussion, or that you have a sinister agenda. I hope it's merely the former.
