Your question STILL needs more context.

Honestly, I don't think anyone else knows what you're talking about, which is why you haven't received a straight answer in five pages.

Perhaps you should list the "versions" that you think exist, and then maybe others will get your drift.

If you start to research "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" you will easily be able to understand this thread question; EASILY! Whose version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" is binding?

Everybody does not believe the same, there are different versions of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone". Whose version of "Faith Alone" and "Scripture Alone" is binding?

It seems to me, you are looking for some kind of validation that could be hung on one particular denomination or some church teaching or type of worship.

What is binding? Only the Truth of God as revealed in Scripture. All other views, if they cannot be confirmed by the Scriptures is to be rejected. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus the Christ - ALONE. Not some manmade Jesus but the one described in the Scriptures. Since salvation comes through Him, this rules out any validity in other religions... such as: Native American traditions, Moslems, Hindus and so forth.

Scripture establishes the true system of faith. (It's origin, how it works, what is to be believed and what is the promise.) When men pass along the word of God by mouth, they can misspeak. When one teaches the Word of God they can err. Only the printed Word of God - Holy Scripture - is inspired by the Holy Spirit. So ALL things must be proved through them and they alone.

If the things above are not true, then we might as well go back to partying like it was 1999 because we have no objective standard to learn by or judge.

Try again. With discernment.
Everyone else in the thread agrees with me; There isn't such a list, period.

I don't know why you have a bee in your bonnet over this topic, but it's clear that you do. You have been asked more than once for some background to this question, and you have responded with spite rather than explanation. So, unless you can step up and provide such, I will have to conclude that you are either in need of training on how to foster discussion, or that you have a sinister agenda. I hope it's merely the former.

Is that how scripture works?

You take a vote and whatever people vote on, that's the truth?

Interesting philosophy. But I don't think you'll get anywhere with it.

I think I answered that quite clearly when I said: What is binding? Only the Truth of God as revealed in Scripture.

"Faith Alone" - Only if ones faith matches that described in the Scriptures.
"Scripture Alone" - As in the Bible, as agreed to, in the Original Cannon. Some would argue that the present Cannon does not include all apocryphal books and/or epistles, that may have been inspired... if this were true, it would not matter. Since inspiration comes from the same Spirit, nothing would be changed. The sixty-six books that are in the Bible are sufficient.

Thank you for answering the question. (y)

If someone's version of "Faith Alone and "Scripture Alone contradicts the truth of God, does the truth of God take precedent?

Yes it does!!!!! It is the Objective Standard by which all things are judged.

If you provided the requested CONTEXT for YOUR question, I would easily be able to understand the issues. I'm not doing YOUR homework for you.

By the way, your attitude absolutely stinks. You would do well to learn how to have a discussion without being a complete jackdonkey.
