Yeah the at the point of it being there it’s a warning not to be like esau

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.”

he’s saying we need to consider esau and what happened to him. It’s not.unusual to find that warning in the new testsment it’s the same as this

“But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them.”

that’s not saying doesn’t matter how you live your saved already it’s a warning and is repetitively in Paul’s writings

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? once you point this out to people then they will start explaining that’s not really salvstion but yeah Gods kingdom is the whole new eternal creation heaven and earth So it is salvation to inherit the kingdom if we don’t have an inheritance in the kingdom we don’t have a future

I think the simplest response is to realize that we live by every word of God. I do not explain away any verse in the Bible, so the warnings and negative examples are all for me.

So then, the real question I suspect you are asking is how do you get the full assurance of salvation.

Paul talks about "all the riches unto the full assurance". With every experience of the Lord we have, every revelation in His word, every answered prayer, these are all riches. Think of each experience as a rich and as you get more and more they add up to the full assurance.

We should be pursuing the Lord in three ways.

1. Our church life. A lot of people emphasize their personal walk over the church but that is a mistake. If you pull a coal from the fire it will quickly grow cold. We need the weekly fellowship and we need to actively pursue the building up of the church and all the members.

2. Our personal walk. This should be daily. It should be prayer, worship and time in the word.

3. Our ministry. We have all been given a talent that the Lord expects us to invest.

If you do this and walk by prayer, according to the word and according to the guidance of the Spirit, then you will have experiences of the Lord. As they add up you will get closer and closer to the full assurance of faith in your salvation.

Yes. If you reject Jesus as your salvation, and wont repent sins to. Acts 3:19. Repent Ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the time of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. METANOEO in Greek = repent, be converted. God has books, and keeps records of everyone. If you refuse to repent, you will pay for those sins. Psalm 55:3. Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, And in wrath they hate me. 55:15. Let death seize upon them, And let them go down quick into hell: SHEOL in Hebrew means = Hell. The heathen, agnostics , and apostates have date in sheol. If a Christian knows the truth and turns to heathen traditions, false doctrine, their reward is trip to Sheol. ABEDAH in Hebrew means = Hades, lost, destruction. Friend, you dont want to end up their. Their in big trouble with God, and waiting for the hammer drop on judgement day, Jesus is the Judge. OHAB Hebrew = love. Our love and worship is all we can give God.

Yes. Read the account of Simon the sorcerer in Acts 8. He believed and was baptized meaning he was saved, but he wanted to buy the power that the apostles had by the laying on of their hands, and was told to repent or perish.

Weeeell.. look at the different two types of deliverance..

One is eternal.. aka John 3:16.. and 5:24.

The other is after salvation having a daily faith

if we are struggling with this thinking, we need to read Johns letters. He said he wrote what he did so we can KNOW (not think) we have eternal life. and through this knowledge, continue to have faith.

Its not how good we are that gives us hope. we will never be good enough.

Its Gods faithfulness to keep his promise that gives us hope..

he who believes is not condemned
He who does not believe is condemned already.

the unbeliever is unforgivable as long as he remains in unbelief. they can be the most morally upright person living, they are still lost

In rejecting his birthright, He could not get it back.. it was a worldly act. which person among us have not done a worldly act in our lifetime??

That does not say he was lost and not saved.

It has been wicked for quite some time already...

It has nothing to do with the holy spirit. It's about his birth rights. He was the oldest son so he was
entitled to his dads stuff but because he was fooled he ended up giving it to Jacob. He was crying
and begging his dad for it but his dad denied him and the act was irreversible. It was to late
Esau was not fooled into giving up his birthright - he did so willingly.

He was however (through the wiles of his mother and brother) tricked out of his father's blessing.

Read Romans chapter 1 it will explain the only time this statement (Jesus Forgives Us All Our Sins; Past/Present/Future) is not true. Pay special attention to verse 28. Let God guide you.

If we willfully sin without remorse and continue down that path God will at some point give you up because you won't find him if your not seeking him. But the moment you begin to seek for him for forgiveness ALL SINS are forgiven. Amen
