Scripture says otherwise:

Galatians 3:10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the book of the Law." (emphasis added).

You either do EVERYTHING under the Law, which is impossible, or you are justified by faith in Christ Jesus. There is no middle ground.

Further, there is no verse in Scripture that separates the Law into different components. It's one Law; you break one commandment, you have broken the whole Law.
Dino, you contradict the words of jesus and his father. You are wrong, most of the law was ceremonial law for the levite priests tending the temple and sanctuary, these are no longer in effect. The moral law, or the 10 commandments are still in effect, did you read the posts with the verses directly from scriptures? How can you possibly, contradict the teachings of jesus?

Galatians 3:10.

Deal with it.

All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is
everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”

I thought we are suppose to keep the law but then it says were free from the law??? What exactly does this mean???
We are free from the Law in its old form. Jesus fulfilled it when He became the once-and -for-all sacrifice for us. The new upgraded version is this...

Matthew 22:40 Context

37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

We aren't made righteous by law keeping, only be placing our faith in Jesus Christ alone.

He frees us from bondage to law keeping. We can then serve Him with the commandments, because we aren't in bondage to them.

Following the law is a mouse wheel of continual, never ending striving.. and ends in death. Spiritual separation from God.

We can only follow the New Testament pattern of faith if we have been freed by Jesus first from the mouse wheel.

I think a lot of the disagreements regarding law-keeping are semantic. Not all, but some. Keeping commandments doesn't really have any effect on the way we are justified before God: but some people tread along with a "I'm saved by grace; therefore, I don't have to keep 'the law' " and that attitude is really no better than the Judiazer's telling people they have to keep the law of Moses to be saved.

People that believe should be learning the teachings of Jesus, and his apostles and doing/teaching his commandments; not to be saved, but because they are saved: faith has a transforming effect on the life of a believer. Faith in Jesus, and his work is right: but if we believe in his work, we should also believe his word; which the scriptures say is exalted above his name. It's a lot more like doing something for someone you love than following a list of rules.

We are free, indeed, from the Law of Moses and it's curses. Hebrews covers that well; although, I think there is a lot to be learned from the OT law and the OT in general. Jesus said; every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. So, if you have someone that is constantly hating on the OT, they are probably not a good teacher of the new. Jesus' teachings are freedom, and if anyone thinks themselves free from Jesus teachings, they are probably free from him, too; which is obviously to say they are in bondage: but the things in the old testament are shadows of the new; and that has to be kept in mind when studying the OT. For example- "keeping the sabbath" the Jews would do to the letter, while we as Christians do enter into the rest of which the Sabbath day commandment is a likeness. And you see Paul in his letters using the scriptures- like the law about not muzzling an ox while it treads the grain- to explain basic principles of morality that are very much applicable under the NT, so while we are free from the law, we aren't necessarily "free" from the lessons of the law, and examples set in the OT, for us in the new, because those things are for us and not keeping us in bondage in the first place.

What was the foundation for the new testament? The old...
Understanding the old testament is vital for you to understand the new.

With out the old the new testament is a house without a foundation.

If i fail to stop at a red light, almost crash and find myself pulled over by a police officer, who is in trouble? Me. If the officer releases me from the law, does that mean the law has been change or removed?
No. I'm free from the curse of the law. I'm free from the penalties.

Sin is the transgression of the law.
Sin = death.
Jesus saves us from the second death.

Here is the point.....
When Jesus freed us from the curse of the law, ....
Did He pay the debt in full?
Or did He remove the law?

The law is like a thermometer or mirror. It only tells you how sick or how ugly you are.

It does nothing to remedy the situation.

Rom 7:12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
And Jesus fulfilled it and completed it for us.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
These verses are good, but as always, context sheds even more light...

Romans 3:31 Context
28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

Our faith now fulfills the Law because Jesus took care of the rest.

Not only that, Jesus has given us a new heart of obedience and love for Him and His commandments.

And Jesus takes care of the rest.....:)
