The elect ... they are born into the world as spiritually lost sinners
"spiritually lost sinners" ... another of your made up concepts. Quit sugar-coating what God tells you is truth.

All descendants of Adam are born dead in trespasses and sins. That you want yourself to be separated from the mass of humanity by claiming you were born "as spiritually lost sinners" does not mean you were not born dead in trespasses and sins, wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom alse we all had our conversation in times past it he lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires ot he flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others (Eph 2:1-3).
Again, the elect are born into this world just like the non elect reprobate, as spiritually lost sinners, dead in sin !

brightfame52 said:
they are nevertheless Justified before God based solely on Christs death for them, which death put away their sin debt before Gods Law and Justice.
Again, Scripture tells us when a person is "Justified before God":

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

Just because God has chosen to impute righteousness to those who believe does not negate the Lord Jesus Christ having "put away their sin debt". You do know that the Lord Jesus Christ is the lamb slain before the foundation of the world (which was long before He was crucified).

You really need to rid yourself of your erroneous dogma. Believe what God tells you in His Word.
However the difference between the spiritually lost elect and the spiritually lost non elect is the Grace of God in election, which ensures that the elect will be quickened from spiritual deadness, and made alive unto God, and given faith in Christ ! Also the elect were born already Justified by Christs blood, the non elect wasn't.

Rom 3:24

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus
Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

And confirmed further:

Romans 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

According to Romans 3:28, the conclusion of the matter is that mankind is justified by faith.

READ YOUR BIBLE!!!
The elect for whom Christ died, are born into this world Justified by Grace based on the death of Christ alone Rom 3:24

24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: or His Death.

The redemption here equates to His Death, His death was a redeeming death. Had nothing to do with the sinners faith.

Christ dying for us is Justification by His Blood !

Rom 5:8-9-10

8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Being Now Justified by His Blood is the outcome of Gods action of commendeth His Love toward us, and Christ died for us, all the while we were sinners, unconverted, enemies, as stated in Vs 10

10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Folks Reconciled to God while enemies is the same as Justified by God while ungodly enemies , based upon the death or blood of Christ ! 15

Understanding Justification by Faith !

Rom 5:1-2

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

There is a True sense in which the Believer for whom Christ died is Justified by Faith, its just not as the false teachers would tell us, that one becomes Justified before God when they believe ! Thats a Lie ! However the believer receives Justification into their conscience, which is not Justification itself, but it is the Knowledge of it, its being given a Spiritual , experiential knowledge of Salvation in the Remission of sins, whats taught here in Lk 1:77

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

Thats Justification by Faith or by Knowledge ! Its how Faith purifies the heart and or conscience Acts 15:9

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

This is Gods doing, for man cannot purify his own heart, lest he be like these Prov 20:9

Who can say, I have made my heart clean or pure, I am pure from my sin?

The hebrew word for clean here zakah means:

I.to be clean, be pure, be clear

A.(Qal)

i.to be clean, be pure

ii.to be clear, be justified

B.(Piel)

i.to make clean, make pure, keep clean, keep pure

So when God purifies our hearts/consciences by Faith, that gives us Justification by Faith, knowledge !

:rolleyes: to say what is written in God's Word is not "a false gospel"
Again to say Christ died to save all mankind, is another gospel.
John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

1 John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world

You have a problem with Scripture? Take it up with the Author ... however, it would be best for you if you would just believe what is written ...

btw ... what is "another gospel" is the lie that we "do not have to believe it, accept itor do anything but continue being ungodly sinners". Wnen are you going to step away from that lie???

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Cor 2:13-14 refers to the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom spoken of in 1 Cor 2:6-12.

That you conflate the gospel with the hidden wisdom is error on your part ... but you have been told this and you prefer to bask in your error.

The redemption here equates to His Death, His death was a redeeming death. Had nothing to do with the sinners faith.
From What is Justification? What does it mean to be justified? (bold/underline mine):

A key passage describing justification in relation to believers is Romans 3:21-26: “But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness . . . so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.” Several important facts about justification are to be noted:
• Justification comes apart from the law; that is, we cannot earn justification through rule-keeping or our own good works.
• Justification is made possible in the sacrificial death of Christ; it is based on the shed blood of Christ.
• Justification is the free and gracious gift of God bestowed on those who receive by faith the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
• Justification demonstrates the righteousness of God.

The conclusion of the matter is shown in Romans 3:28:

Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith ...

Luke 1:

67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying,

68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people,

69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David;

70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:

71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

76 And thou, child, [John Baptist] shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;

77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,

78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,

79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Luke 1:76-77 states that John Baptist would go before the Lord to prepare His way and John Baptist would give knowledge of salvation.

Luke 1:67-79 tells us the ministry of John Baptist. And fyi ... John Baptist was faithful in fulfilling his ministry.

Paul is talking about the Gospel, the Cross in 1 Cor 2, the context demands it as well 1 Cor 1:18-2:14

18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.

30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.

4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

So again the natural man cannot understand it, and the entire context demands that the Gospel, the Cross is in view.

The context of 1 Cor 2:13-14 is not "the Gospel, the Cross". Paul speaks of the Gospel through 1 Cor 2:5.

According to 1 Cor 2:7-8, the context is the hidden wisdom ... which none of the princes of this world knew, for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

God never hid gospel. The gospel is revealed in Scripture ... proclaimed from Genesis to Revelation. What was hid was the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom

1 Corinthians 2:

The elect are born sinners like the reprobate
Then your statement that "the elect were born already Justified by Christs blood" is a false statement.

If they are born "just like the non elect reprobate" then they are "condemned like the reprobate".

Ephesians 2:

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

brightfame52 said:

The only reason the believer is not "condemned like the reprobate" is because he or she did not suppress the truth in unrighteousness when someone shared the gospel with him or her:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold [Greek katecho = suppress, restrain] the truth in unrighteousness

Those who do not believe suppress the truth in unrighteousness. They reject the truth of Scripture ... not because they do not have faith, or because they cannot hear or understand, but because they hold to something (place their faith in something) other than the truth of Scripture which God has clearly revealed to them.

righteousness is imputed when a person believes

Romans 4:

20 He [Abraham] staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

21 And being fully persuaded that, what he [God] had promised, he [God] was able also to perform.

22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it [righteousness] was imputed to him;

24 But for us also, to whom it [righteousness] shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ
