Come on, spell it out. What is it that I need to be forgiven of? Have I sinned for esteeming the word and doctrine that we are instructed to live by every single moment of every day? Have I sinned for telling of those that condemn and judge the church that Christ has redeemed and is the head of? Have I sinned for edifying the sheep that hear God's voice when they are built up in the most holy faith through the word and doctrine? Have I sinned for opposing those that claim to be prophets who condemn instead of edifying the body of Christ?
Have I sinned for exposing the continuous onslaught of falsehood that comes from those that claim that they hear from God yet judge others that they do not hear from God nor do they draw near to God because they can not hear God's voice? You have done this and you make a mockery out of forgiveness by perverting the very nature of His love and grace that he imparts to His church and every member of His precious body. You of all people start a thread, 'Hypocrites Beware'. In the measure that we judge it shall be meeted back to us again (in the same measure).
There is a great principle about God's mercy when it comes to sin. If you sin and I judge you for that sin, God takes whatever discipline that He was going to give you and puts it on me. Judge not lest you be judged in the same measure. He lifts the discipline off of you and puts it on me. Makes you think twice or even three times before you judge another servant. But is we judge according to mercy we will be judged by mercy and mercy rejoices against judgment. When we judge according to mercy we always have joy but when we don't......Keep judging the church and let's see what becomes of you. You keep warning the church that judgment is coming, but when it comes, I wonder in what measure it will come.
Do I need to be forgiven again?
We all need to be forgiven, all the time. Jesus lives to intercede for us, if we are drawing near to God through Him.
You misunderstand what I post, it seems intentionally, with frequent regularity.
Are you saying that if God wanted to talk to us, that He would not tell us anything that He would have us change? For that I forgive you.
God does want to talk to us, He does want to communicate with us, personally and individually, telling us the things that please Him, and the things that do not. It is how we grow in grace, in Jesus Christ. That I espouse this idea upsets you terribly, and so you call me false, and set forth your beliefs that all that we need to please God is to study the bible, and go to church.
Even scripture does not support this, nor that we are perfectly pleasing to God. Scripture supports that we have the covering of His shed blood, which allows us access to the Father. But if we do not draw near to the Father, then we are not pleasing to Him. It is that simple. And if we draw near to Him, we will become more like Him, because His majesty works that way, His glory will change us to me more like Him.
Well, you consider this a railing accusation against the church. It is not. If you feel that you are perfectly fine with our Father, good. Leave it at that. But if what I write convicts you in any way, then I suggest that you pray. Hard.
