As I said earlier, the blue laws were a way of life. As we were invaded by outsiders, and television, everything (good or bad) began to change. Today the county is no different than the rest of the world. Quoting John Wayne, "A way of life is gone. It was a good way".
It wasn't illegal to sell alcohol only on Sunday. I lived in a dry county. No legal sale of alcohol at all.
By your argument, I should be able sell drugs and sex on any corner on every day of the week.
