Hi everyone! I'm Maka, 27 year old female from Ireland but I moved to South Korea to teach English 6 months ago. Loving it here so far! If any of you live in Korea, I would love to be able to fellowship! Looking for a community of believers who are serious about their faith, intercession and bible exploring. I have a new friend who is Korean, and lives in my city in the US. I hope he is a Christian like us. Also, welcome to the forum. It is a decent place, just be aware that there can be some debates here. I don't partake in any of those. God bless. :)

That's cool, Korean people have been very good to me since I arrived. Great bunch! Yes I'm very well versed in participating in online Christian communities haha. May the grace of God continue to help us to navigate and be loving to each other ☺️

Amen sistah. :) I hope the Koreans are accepting of you. Us brown and black people (well, I'm part Asian-Indian, but mostly white, but appear brown) can have it difficult in homogeneous countries such as Korea or Japan. May God's grace help us better our society, and make the world a nicer place to live in.

Hi! Yes they've been very accepting! I haven't experienced any racism while living here but I have heard stories of other people of colour having bad experiences. From my experience though, they have been very kind and welcoming to me. Amen to your prayer! God bless!

I am glad that everything is going well over there. Like all countries, there are more conservative parts than others. I'm glad you live in an area of South Korea that is open to brown and black folks. I live in an area of the US that is accepting of us folks also.
