Do you like noise, or not
It seems nobody appreciates peace and quiet these days. :-(
Churches can be so noisy that I dont even want to go there anymore. They hurt my ears.

Is there anything we can do about it?

No I don't like noise either, especially when caused by people who are inconsiderate.

Rock and roll ain't noise pollution. AC/DC taught us that. With that out of the way, I've never been sensitive to noise but I was born with a birth defect and can only hear out of one ear. So maybe get an ear plug and put it in one ear.

Lol. I hear everything but not as loud and sometimes I turn all the way around to figure out where a sound comes from. But it does give me an excuse for not listening when I'm ignoring someone.

I do not like noise at all. I place a premium of peace and quiet, especially in my home.

My father worked for the US Postal Service after retiring from the military. What you call pollution he called a paycheck.

I know you like to find things to complain about, but this is low-hanging fruit. It's just too easy to complain about noise and ads.

Could you at least be creative?

About the noise in church: We're trying to have a worship service here. Some are loud, some are quiet, but (if the church is doing it with the right motive) it is all to God. Wear earplugs or something. You can cut them in half so they don't stick out your ears so much.

About advertising, that's how people let other people know there are things they need that they can buy. If you don't like advertising, go live on a farm with no internet connection. And please don't make too much noise in trying to find someone to buy your farm products.

people send each other junk in the US?

in nz, we pay for postage to post letters but we dont pay for junk mail that gets delivered unaddressed to every letterbox. Thats why almost every letterbox in my street has a sign on it saying NO JUNK MAIL.

My dad worked for the NZ post and sorted mail. Mostly bills and magazine subscriptions but these were what people signed up for. Also they sent parcels.

in NZ we dont allow spam or business to do that. If someone doesnt want junk mail they make a sign on their letterbox. NZ post does not deliver unaddressed mail.
