It was hard after being on RF for 8 years, to have it close without warning.

Im praying this will become my new home away from home.

I have been a Christian for almost 20 years. Yes, I came to Jesus late in life, (Im 65) but my previous foolish choices are now history. Eternity with Him is my future.

Im 100 percent pre trib rapture and also firmly in the camp of OSAS.

I enjoy healthy exchanges of views, and try my best to not take it personal when others have a different view. Iron sharpens iron.

Im a retired Marine, (29 years active duty), and will put on my Drill Instructor cover (hat), if a conversation gets heated….:D

Im married, and my wife is a life long Christian, and is retired Navy (23 yrs).

This is the only social media that I have been on (except for facebook, which was a nightmare. They should call it buttbook :rolleyes:)

If you use the Preview instead of Post reply, you can fiddle with your post for much longer (no time limit). Also,
the last icon across the top of the message box "toggles" the BB code. Whatever that means LOL, but it will show
the code and allow you to get around any formatting snags and errors that otherwise present themselves .:)

If you have made an extensive post and then realize it needs lots of editing that will surely exceed the 5 minute
limit, the best thing to do is open to edit, copy it, re-post, and then delete before the edit window closes. Then you
can paste the whole thing as is into a fresh message box and start over. Using the toggle BB code in such instances
is great at such times, for it will copy any and all font and colour changes in the text, as well as preserve any hot links .:)

We have similar paths in the timing of our life.

I looked at your total number of posts, and I had approx the same amount on RF!

No, my wife will not join, nor did she join RF. She has her sites she visits, and she likes us each having our own space. We mirror each others beliefs, so all we would do is agree with each other, and in the rare topic of disagreement- Im right!…..:D

Same here. Many years ago I had a FB account, but when my friends requests grew to 10, I deleted my account, never returned.

I was on RR, than RF for a total of 10 years. Awesome fellowship, which I pray will be the same here.

Ha, the same. My mother passed in 2009, and I was using FB at that time to share pics with my siblings.
I was also doing apologetics on myspace at that time, and a friendly person there told me they found
me on FB. Major ugh! I immediately shut down my page as much as possible (they did not allow
account deletions in those days). I have not been back since...

the rapture will totally, definitely, completely occur BEFORE the tribulation. 1st Thessalonians 4:16 CLEARLY explains the order of events. welcome to CC. wishing you & your family a memorable stay.
