he suffered for our sins, big difference. He only gave his life in the flesh not spirit.

His spirit never payed any price.
And thats that 😊
so his physical beating paid the penalty for our sin?

May I ask you what Caused Jesus to scream out on the cross?

was it his physical beating?

Yes he suffered, that's the answer his flesh payed the price for our sins,

You can not get blood out of a stone it is not there. And you not take the a price out of his spirit.

I was referring to the point that even though Jesus was CRUSHED for our sins, God wasn’t angry with Jesus. in fact, we see several times in Scripture that God was well pleased with Him.
Oh...carry on. I'm pleased as well.

lol

If this is how our sin is payed for. we can pay for our own sin. because we cna shed our own blood

something else paid for our sin..

What kind of death did Adam suffer when he sinned

It says we are dead. what kind of death were we suffering before we were made alive or born again?

Isaiah 53:10...when Thou shalt make His soul an offering for sin...
the soul is not his spirit
The soul is also referenced as a living being in human form in the bible.
Don't take my word look up translations where one translation says livin soul and another living being.
Don't confuse your self, what your suggesting is the holy spirit offered it's spirit to death.

Honestly friend this implication is gasly

how so?

Why can;t you answer the question? I have asked two now and crickets..
I have more than answered it.

Jesus offering his life was victory to beat sin and the power of death that had a hold on sin.

Offering something to beat death through suffering does not mean Jesus was punished for our sins.

Ok so let look at it Cameron's way then.

Jesus was prepared to offer his soul to beat death.

Or As the bible quotes Jesus offered his soul for sin
And became sin.

But again on what basis did Jesus offer his soul ,

Did he offer it knowing his soul could be taken.

Or did he offer his soul knowing his soul would rip the heart out of death and break right through it setting the captives free

Again this does not mean Jesus was punished for our sins.

Hi - maybe you could help. - I had a discussion with an atheist who pointed the following ie does not relate to Jesus (how would you address this);

1) 53:5 But he was wounded / bruised - but not killed
2) 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death - was in a grave by himself not with others
3) 10 - .....he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, ....... - did not see his seed

On another point: Many have seen Jesus - how would they know it is Jesus as we have no proof what Jesus really looked like?
Hi Needadvice,

Isaiah 53 is clearly about Jesus, they cannot understand this as the scripture is closed to them by their unbelief

Mat 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
Mat 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
Mat 13:12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Mat 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
Mat 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

Jesus is somewhat described in the bible as being an ordinary man, however those who belong to him will recognize him if it is his will.

Not Cameron's view. Directly from scripture.

once again

1. what caused Jesus to CRY out when he hung on the cross

2. What kind of death did Adam suffer the moment he sinned, the same death that we must be born again from. as we are dead in adam.

Don't tell me you have answered those questions when you have not.

your answering my questions with a question,

which is just a distraction from the main point you where first made to see.

This is just a deflection.
And again your questions don't don't show Jesus was punished for our sins,
Again your question shows Jesus suffered for our sins.

we are made alive in Christ.

I have already answered you so I can't see the answer your looking for l, so why don't you explain what you feal is the answer to your question because that's how a discussion should take place.

It shouldn't be I'll prove your question wrong with a question that has a different answer.

lol. your problem is you can not answer my questions. so you deflect.

You know what kind of death Adam suffered. and it was not shedding his blood or being physically beaten

You know we were spiritually dead and must be made spiritually alive

and you know Jesus cried out and screamed my God my God why have you forsaken me

It was not his beating, it was nto when he was nailed to the cross

it was when our sins were placed on him, and he died, as adam died. as we were born dead..

but its ok. Go ahaid and think you have it all figured out

The death of Jesus Christ on the cross does not justify heresy-:poop:.

no it doesn't but heresy is a sin that can be forgiven,

How many times was Jesus called a heretic by the Jews, but yet he still went to the cross for them.

And I have no idea why your calling me a heretic,

Let me guess your still stuck with the idea I'm in love with NASA

I 'm not calling you a heretic. As long as you are not trying to justify heresy through the blood of Jesus Christ, you are fine.

ah alas the sincere hearts of explanations breaks through but not without an accusation first.

Wouldn't it have just been easier to explain this first rather than live in secret with a reluctant mind to share.

Or is your reluctant mind telling you I could be wrong,

Theres no shame in saying I'm not sure.

Jesus was suffering when he cried out why have you forsaken me.

Our sins where not placed upon him. The bible says he bor the sins of the world upon his shoulders.

The bible doesn't say he went to the cross and said why have you made me punishment for sin.

Or the bible does not indicate when Jesus said why have you forsaken me Jesus ment why have you punished me..

Jesus went to cross to beat deaths sting hold on sin to grant repentance for sin.
