There are more than 7,000,000,000 people on this earth. I am referring to choosing to believe Christ justifies heresy.

Do you believe Christ justifies heresy; Are you one of them?
Christ does not justify heresy but He does encourage certain folks to increase their meds.

I had a discussion with an atheist who pointed the following (how would you address this);

1) 53:5 But he was wounded - not killed
2) 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death - was in a grave by himself not with others
3) 10 - .....he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, ....... - did not see his seed
1) Jesus was always being inquired of by the Jews for a sign. He gave them one in reference to His death and resurrection. He told them that just like Jonas, He would be in the earth 3 days and 3 nights. In the Gospel of John Jesus again gave the Jews a sign by telling them if this temple was destroyed He would raise it up in 3 days. Jesus was referring to His body.
(Matthew 12:38) Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

2) Jesus had no Sin and die like a wick man would have die for doing evil., that same verse says because he have done no violence. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 5: 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Let's take a look at what 1 Peter 2: 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

3) This is will happen in the future and for those who follow Jesus Christ can take part. "Here is the patience of the saints; here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus" (Revelation 14:12). Let's take a look at that future seed, let's go to 1 Corinthians 15: 20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. So the seed will come at Christ coming.

Acts 8:26-35 strongly suggests that the 53rd of Isaiah is meant to be
explained by competent instruction rather than self-taught.
_

how do you decides who’s competent the one who agrees or disagrees with you?

Isaiah 53 doesn't state Jesus was punished for our sins, it says the punishent that brought us peace was upon Jesus meaning the punishent that Jesus suffered at the hands of the romans brought us peace. But not because he was punished for our sins.

Lets put it this way

If jesus, the lamb of God, did not take our sins on the cross.

We are still dead in our sin.. and dependent on animal sacrifice, which could never take away sin..
Your punctuation says the opposite of your intended meaning. A comma after "cross" and a small "w" would clarify it.

1Cor 11:23-24 . . I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you,
that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and
when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said: This is my body which is
for you. Do this in remembrance of me.

The broken loaf of bread reminds the congregation-- and any visitors
present --that Christ's body was very nearly destroyed during his crucifixion.

The Romans whipped Jesus to within an inch of his life, slapped him around,
crowned him with thorns, and drove nails into his hands and his feet. But
that was child's play compared to what God did to him. By the time those
hours of darkness lifted; the Lord's own mother would have trouble
recognizing him.

Isa 52:14 . . Many were appalled at him-- his appearance was so
disfigured beyond that of any man, and his form marred beyond human
likeness.

The Romans aren't to blame for doing that to Christ; no, they had their fun
and nailed him up there, but it was God who put on the finishing touches,
viz: his own Father is responsible for the extreme severity of Jesus' injuries.

"It was the Lord's will to crush him and cause him to suffer" (Isa 53:10)

The below is an impassioned plea heard from the cross.

Matt 27:46 . . My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Here it is again; this time with some parts that were missing.

Ps 22:1 . . My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Why art thou so
far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

The Hebrew word for "roaring" is sheagah (sheh-aw-gaw') which means: a
rumbling or moan.

In other words: people standing around the cross that day during those
three hours of inky dark couldn't see anything, but they could sure hear:
and what they heard were the dreadful screams of a man in extreme
discomfort as God laid into him for the sins of the whole world.

But let's not make the mistake of feeling sorry for Jesus as if he were the
victim of some awful misfortune. It was God's will to crush him; and for a
very good purpose. Relative to that purpose I can honestly say: better Jesus
on that cross than us in the lake of brimstone depicted at Rev 20:11-15
where folk will have to undergo death akin to a foundry worker falling into a
kettle of molten iron.

Isaiah 53 says it pleased God to bruise Him. There was far more going on than what the Roman soldiers did. Read the post above yours.

I was referring to the point that even though Jesus was CRUSHED for our sins, God wasn’t angry with Jesus. in fact, we see several times in Scripture that God was well pleased with Him.

For 3 days at the sun's lowest point it sits in these stars and sits in the cross for 3 days and rises one degree. It's from pagan astrology. Known as the pagan cross (celtic cross).
Hell is a norse word, hell(hela) Is the daughter of the devil the goddess of the underword and the devil's throne is Ower prison planet, no loving thing has went over 400 miles from the surface. After that cooked like your in a microwave need silly amounts of lead to shield so no living thing can leave.

What you believe and describe in your previous posts on this thread was put there by Satan himself he is the instigator of all these stories, they have nothing to do with Christ, I know about this please do not believe in them one bit. Christ did manifest himself to people in the past many muslims have had dreams about him or saw him and were converted.

Peace

what does this proove ?

Does this prove Jesus was punished for our sins ?.

The wages for sin is death and that still stands for unbelievers.

If Jesus took the punishment for sin, then your going to have show exactly that context.

Again the only verse I can find is Jesus suffered for our sins.

Punishment Is different to suffering.
hello fundamantaal I hope the following verses will prove to you jesus was punished for our sins, He fulfilled the law and prophecy.

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isa 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isa 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Isa 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Isa 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isa 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isa 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Peace.

Hi - maybe you could help. - I had a discussion with an atheist who pointed the following ie does not relate to Jesus (how would you address this);

1) 53:5 But he was wounded / bruised - but not killed
2) 9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death - was in a grave by himself not with others
3) 10 - .....he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, ....... - did not see his seed

On another point: Many have seen Jesus - how would they know it is Jesus as we have no proof what Jesus really looked like?

Amen Snacker!

The abuse Christ Jesus suffered, was done by men, when people did the worst acts, God responded by forgiving people.

Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

People esteemed Him stricken and smitten of God, it was NOT God's doing.
Jesus was put to grief was by allowing humanity to beat and afflict his Son.

This once again is the tentacles of Calvinism corrupting the character of God.

so who was punished, or paid for our sin?
