Fact is, Jesus didn’t change Deuteronomy 24:1-4 which allowed divorce and remarriage for reasons of ervah: uncleanness (see Leviticus for examples) which include but are not limited to fornication.

In Matthew 5/19, Mark 10 and Luke 16 Jesus was addressing pharisaical type practice of putting away a wife without a divorce certificate, the only acceptable reason for this being fornication.

Many of them decided to let their desire line up with His desire, so he granted them peace and contentment in the state they were in, and remain in till this very day. My best days are yet to come, and those days shall be never-ending.
Jesus was clear,. for some people it is not possible. Only those who are able.

The issue is not whether it is possible, but whether it is God's will for you.

Desperation is a massive turn off for everyone. Trying to find a wife will turn up nothing. I have known a few who did that internet dating, hitting up every chance to score a date. It has never worked. They found wives when they just started living life. Women want someone interesting. If your only thing that you bring to the table is willing to or desire to be affectionate, you aint offering anything. If you bring to the table hobbies, interests, accomplishments, abilities, skills, creativity expressed, then you are bringing a dynamic that is something that adds color and flavor to life. Then she is gonna be interrested. Netfix and chill aint a lifestyle, its unwinding after, whatever; skydiving or something.

No one I know has gone through what I've been going through. Everyone I know has gotten married or had no desire to be married. Friends I knew when I was in my 30's and 40's said, there is no reason for me to be single. With all the effort you're putting in, you should be married. I've gone out with women who could not believe I had never been married. I wasn't what they were looking for, but they still could not understand why I was still single. It's like the hand of GOD blocked all my efforts.
I'm not surprised at all you've never married. You say you want to marry but something is holding you back. Many times people get their motivations confused. I have a sneaking suspicion when you say you want to marry what you really mean is you want someone to have regular sex with. But when it comes to being married, I don't think so or you would've found a way by now. You always find a way to sabotage it then blame God. Not trying to be unloving but you really think you need to think about this.

I have never sabotaged a relationship. I do stick to one thing. There must be mutual attraction. I have seen people get married just for the sake of being married. They didn't want to be alone. That does not work out. They have regrets.

On this whole issue, there is something I was just now thinking about. I just got done playing games in Virtual Reality. I can do this anytime I want. I remember many years ago, I was in a mall watching families shopping, Wishing I had a family. I believe GOD spoke to me and said, "John you can go anywhere you want, any time you want" A few times I've had Christians get upset with me, for how I was spending my money or time. I told them, "I don't have a family to support, you do" I have to keep reminding myself, you can do anything and go anywhere you want. I really enjoy Virtual Reality. I can play my games anytime I want for as long as I want. This October I'll get a new headset, gloves and chest set, so I can FEEL things in Virtual Reality. I know something like this might tear apart a family.
This brings up another point....With Virtual Reality you can do and FEEL almost anything you can imagine. How will this impact Christianity and our views of biblical teaching. It will be a blessing to some and a curse to others.

Ever since God joined Adam and Eve in marriage He has ordained that marriage is a permanent bond until death. Apparently that would apply whether a couple was saved or not. So from God's perspective no marriage is "bad", and the Bible says that God hates divorce. Which means if there is a willingness on both sides to make a marriage work, then the couple will remain married regardless of circumstances. The idea that people could simply walk away from a marriage on a whim is a rather recent Western aberration. It is rare in other cultures.
Walking away from a bad marriage may be a peculiarly "Western" thing and is certainly a problem in itself. However, that doesn't mean there aren't as many marital problems in other cultures as there ever were in Western culture. Spousal abuse is basically expected in some cultures; at least Western culture legally permits the abused to escape and live a somewhat-normal life. Faithfulness within marriage clearly is the ideal, but sadly, many people define faithfulness merely as the absence of physical adultery. This hides all manner of other problems. The root problem, as usual, is human sinfulness.

VR will not "impact" Christianity at all. It will allow people to sin in ways they couldn't before, and it will provide opportunities for ministry and outreach... just like almost every new technology.

Mind answering my question?

Are you claiming Moses wrote Deuteronomy 24:1-4 of his own accord? Or to put it another way, is Deuteronomy 24:1-4 inspired?
I wonder if we count how many questions you've asked and I've answered compared to how many questions I've asked and you've answered what the result would be.

The bottom line is this. Jesus, the apostles of the New Testament, and the prophets of the Old Testament all concur that divorce is no good in the eyes of God, and furthermore remarriage is adultery, Perhaps a certain generation is tainted utterly with this sin and so is biased and therefore twists the law and has defiled the churches named after my God into various heresies just like their fathers, the Pharisees. Jesus is clear on this matter overall of the OP; don't divorce your spouse unless they be a fornicator, and if you unfortunately do have to be in that position, don't remarry because it is adultery in the eyes of God and you be excommunicated from the holy body of Christ until and unless you repent of this sin, in the name of the Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit, amen.

Every word IS inspired, God breathed, and that includes Deuteronomy 24:1-4.

When people like our friend @BearerOfTheMorningStar make statements like: “Moses put that in the Law because of the hardness of your hearts”, they’re insinuating Moses wrote Deuteronomy 24:1-4 of his own accord, against the will of God.

This is erroneous of course, Deuteronomy 24:1-4 is the word of God that gives provision and guideline for divorce and remarriage.

Does Jesus void his own law or was it never his law to begin with, did Moses sneak it in there… 🤣
What did Jesus say about Moses writing that in Deuteronomy 24?

Should I believe Jesus or should I believe an evil generation that commits such sins as if they were a light issue in the eyes of the Almighty God?

You’re projecting your false doctrine onto the text.

Deuteronomy clearly makes provision and provides guideline for divorce and remarriage.

I’ll ask again, is Deuteronomy 24:1-4 the inspired word of God?

Perhaps you are projecting unto me what you yourself are doing, but nevertheless the text is clear and it has been copy and pasted, unaltered already for you. If they will not hear Moses and the Prophets surely they will not believe though one rose from the dead and told them.

Deuteronomy 24:1-4

Laws Concerning Divorce

[1] “When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house, [2] and if she goes and becomes another man’s wife, [3] and the latter man hates her and writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, or if the latter man dies, who took her to be his wife, [4] then her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after she has been defiled, for that is an abomination before the LORD. And you shall not bring sin upon the land that the LORD your God is giving you for an inheritance.

You’re wrong, Deuteronomy clearly allows for divorce and remarriage.

So I’ll ask yet again, is the above scripture inspired?

What did Jesus say about it in Mark 10?

Mark 10:1-12

1 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

What does Paul say in Romans 7?

Romans 7:2-3

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

"Now regarding your question about the young women who are not yet married. I do not have a command from the Lord for them. But the Lord in his mercy has given me wisdom that can be trusted, and I will share it with you." 1 Corinth 7:25.

I say Amen to this. Churches and pastors should stop making rules for Singles. Stop putting burdens on them. There was no command from the LORD, there should be none from you.

My question is, did GOD really join those people in bad marriages, who made terrible choices.
He could of joined them for look at people who claim Christ but are supposed to be Christlike but they sin at times, and some more than others.

A person still has a choice even if they are saved, and if not then no person would have the capability to sin after they are saved.

A person can sin in marriage the same as not in marriage.
