I think the issue is much bigger. It will destroy education and if you think we are putting out students of very low academic ability now, just wait, they will be barely literate. As a result in a few years the people will be too ignorant to even recognize the lies.
Also, when you use something that is free you get what you pay for. The fortune 500 companies will be paying for AI that does precisely what they want it to do, while the serfs will be stuck with the inferior freebie model.

The bottom line is just as cars replaced horses, AI will replace white collar workers. Say goodbye to the middle class.

AI is Getting Better At Mind Reading…!
I used to teach forensics and we would spend several months on lie detection techniques, not just learning about them but learning how to use them.
One technique is microexpressions. AI could become expert at reading facial expressions to microexpressions. A second technique is analyzing vocal patterns for elevated stress. Again, this would be something AI could do instantly (generally only a few people are truly expert at microexpressions and it takes a technician with digital equipment a few hours to analyze vocal patters, to be able to do both of these instantaneously during an interview would be tremendously helpful. The third technique involves techniques in questioning.
My point is you could train AI so that every single police station and FBI bureau and any other place needing to interview people could be raised to a level exceeding the very best human interrogators. If you put these three techniques together you can rise, almost to the level of mind reading.
Businesses would want this for job interviews, and interviews of employees when there are issues taking place, and business meetings, law enforcement, court rooms, the applications would be very broad.
There are both positive and negative potential uses for this technology. But one thing is for sure, interrogations will be much more effective. Imagine a gang shooting takes place in a city, you can pull in random gang members for questioning. With this you would immediately find out who knows something, with proper technique and a thorough organizational chart of the gangs you would be able to determine the shooters in a single day. They would assume people had ratted them out and so gang members would be terrified, if they don't take witness protection they will be dead.
This obviously has very positive uses, but imagine if the government decides "domestic terrorists" are those who voted for the opponent, or those who have an issue with them castrating your kids. Maybe it becomes illegal to be a Christian or they want to find those who have not taken the mark of the beast. The Bible says
