the buried lead here is that lawyers are already using Chat GPT to write briefs. That is the "poor mans'" solution and as you can see in the story Chat GPT is filled with traps and pitfalls for those who would try and do this.

What the big firms will do is buy an AI that specializes in law. The annual subscription fee will be something like 20k a year, a small fee to pay to replace lawyers who make 100k a year, but a lot of money for that cheapo strip mall lawyer. In return for the fee they will have the AI being fed every single law case in the country each year.

The buried lead here is that if you are not able to fail students for using Chat GPT then it will be used widely by students at all levels.

The other thing that they are not considering is how much work it is to grade a paper. Is the professor using Chat GPT to grade the papers only to learn that Chat GPT says it wrote the paper?

Also, suppose I have to write a paper, I ask Chat GPT to write three different papers with similar prompts that relate to the topic I am required to write on. Then I simply mix these three together, changing the words a little. Regardless of what professors and teachers want to do assigning papers to write is going to be very, very difficult going forward.

It would be simple to get Chat GPT to manufacture research, you ask it to give you ten references with quotes. You print that out, now it looks like you did research. Professor sends out notice you are getting a 0 so you manufacture research and challenge the professor, look at all my research.

There is only one possible solution and that is students are required to write their essays during class or supervised study hall where there are no computers, smart phones, etc.

I think the real issue with chatGPT (and I am sure you know this is) it's ability to be used to lie to the general population in order to ultimately further Satan's agenda.

I have used a similar AI, called Open Assistant (run by volunteers) mainly for jokes. The AI explained karate in the personality/voice of a fictional character in the DC comics.

I think the issue is much bigger. It will destroy education and if you think we are putting out students of very low academic ability now, just wait, they will be barely literate. As a result in a few years the people will be too ignorant to even recognize the lies.

Also, when you use something that is free you get what you pay for. The fortune 500 companies will be paying for AI that does precisely what they want it to do, while the serfs will be stuck with the inferior freebie model.

Therefore you give the wealthy elites an incredible weapon. Previously the only chance the masses had when competing with the elites is our brain, they intend to take that competitive advantage away from us.

Also, their kids will get to use the "platinum" AI which teachers and professors will not be able to detect, which will not write bogus papers, and so their kids will get into the elite universities, the AI will do all the work, and so they will be as stupid and lascivious as ever, but because they have the 100k version of AI they will breeze through college, graduate school and snatch up the very few jobs that still pay good money.

The bottom line is just as cars replaced horses, AI will replace white collar workers. Say goodbye to the middle class.

Chat GPT is trained on all kinds of things on the internet, as a result it is a confusing mess of lies and half truths.

However, if you trained it on all the case law in the US it would be razor sharp on law.

However, that will require they spend money on subscribing to all the legal journals and feeding them to the AI each month.

The rate of growth in AI is incredible

This video is incredibly scary, especially because of how excited this guy is.

What this video tells me is that AI is progressing so much faster than anyone can keep up with.

Wow, just learned something stunning, when a message or video is sent to you it can be reconstructed by AI to be unique for you. So if I was speaking in english and you want it in Chinese it can do that. If I have a 3d image of myself and you want it to look like a monet painting you can do that.

Well this means that advertisements can be designed specifically for the recipients.

The rate of growth in AI is incredible

This video is not hypothetical, he is showing how they are already using AI in business. One advertising company is using it to generate 25% of their ads, if you assume you lose 5% of your workforce each year there is no reason to hire anyone for the next five years and by that time it will probably be doing 50% of their ads.

It shows another company that is a manufacturing operation that is fully automated! All you see on the floor are robots doing all the work and AI doing all the planning.

Here's some food for thought. What's going when the next technology advance comes along? Let's say AI + quantum computing.

Where does it go from there?

AI is Getting Better At Mind Reading…!

I used to teach forensics and we would spend several months on lie detection techniques, not just learning about them but learning how to use them.

One technique is microexpressions. AI could become expert at reading facial expressions to microexpressions. A second technique is analyzing vocal patterns for elevated stress. Again, this would be something AI could do instantly (generally only a few people are truly expert at microexpressions and it takes a technician with digital equipment a few hours to analyze vocal patters, to be able to do both of these instantaneously during an interview would be tremendously helpful. The third technique involves techniques in questioning.

My point is you could train AI so that every single police station and FBI bureau and any other place needing to interview people could be raised to a level exceeding the very best human interrogators. If you put these three techniques together you can rise, almost to the level of mind reading.

Businesses would want this for job interviews, and interviews of employees when there are issues taking place, and business meetings, law enforcement, court rooms, the applications would be very broad.

There are both positive and negative potential uses for this technology. But one thing is for sure, interrogations will be much more effective. Imagine a gang shooting takes place in a city, you can pull in random gang members for questioning. With this you would immediately find out who knows something, with proper technique and a thorough organizational chart of the gangs you would be able to determine the shooters in a single day. They would assume people had ratted them out and so gang members would be terrified, if they don't take witness protection they will be dead.

This obviously has very positive uses, but imagine if the government decides "domestic terrorists" are those who voted for the opponent, or those who have an issue with them castrating your kids. Maybe it becomes illegal to be a Christian or they want to find those who have not taken the mark of the beast. The Bible says

Luke 21:16 And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

Why 5%? I think they are referring to a hiring freeze. Instead of laying people off, that would cause a backlash, instead you have a hiring freeze.
You can also start turning up the pressure on the annual reviews to get rid of dead wood, better they resign or retire than get fired. In that way they can accelerate attrition. You can also offer an early retirement package to encourage more.

Some people are predicting that fast food restaurants will all be totally automated soon. After all why would you want some teenager to have the ability to destroy your business with a gross tik tok video? People will have much more confidence in robots and AI, they will also be cheaper, more efficient and faster.

Very often when we hear 5% we think OK, that won't affect me, they will just get rid of dead wood.

I don't believe so, I think what 5% means is 90% of those trying to enter the workforce will not be able to get jobs.

Most teenagers get entry level jobs at fast food restaurants, or as stock boys, or at Walmart or Amazon.com, etc. 90% of those entry level jobs will be eliminated.

Then college graduates will go to work for a Fortune 500 company, but those entry jobs will also be eliminated. Even though AI cannot do all the jobs at the Fortune 500 company, it can do all the jobs you would ask a new hire. This is especially true in the tech industry where the AI can write code easily and quickly.

You might think they can't replace jobs like farmers, yet the high tech industry and big farm conglomerates have already replaced a very large percentage of farmers. You might think they can't replace mechanics and yet all these new cars come with computer chips that diagnose and even report issues with the car and more and more fixing a car is simply swapping one part out for another. Truck drivers are also being eliminated as well as taxi drivers.

AI is writing news reports, deep fake is reading the news, it is writing and composing music, and taking all the entry level art jobs.

15 minutes in he explains something that blew my mind. Do you know how they will make it necessary to get a digital ID (Mark of the beast)?

AI will become so good at deep fakes that it will be the only way to know who you are dealing with.
