Has anyone used the animated 2019 Pilgrims progress and the 2005 chronicles of Narnia as an allegorical approach to introduce Christian faith with intention to be conversational starters that lead into deeper discussions? If yes , how did you lead into the faith? Where did you draw parallels for the listener and were your results fruitful?

If you are looking for something unique, it still must have the clear gospel to get people Saved.
If you were to fall 1,000 feet would you keep on going down, or would you go up to heaven?...as they try to identify you from dental x-rays....😄

Here's one man's way evangelize. A pastor should pair up an experienced man with another man or an experienced woman who has led people to Christ with another lady from the church. That's the way the disciples were sent out to share the gospel into the highways and hedges from house to house.

This is the shortest good gospel presentation I have heard on video. About a minute.

One Minute Gospel
That’s great. But have you seen God use it personally? I’m looking for feedback on allegorical approaches for the lost who may be turned off by Shakespearean English or otherwise people who have been hurt by such direct approaches in the past. CSLewis built his Narnia novel for this purpose from my understanding and I’m curious if anyone has taken the video format and utilized it.

How many years have you used the King James Bible to lead people to Christ?
How many years have you used another version?

Dude your missing my point. My point is not versions but simple fact is Most modern Americans won’t sit there and listen to the intricacies of the KJVs thou sayests etc. The language is beautiful but so flowery that to the untrained, unchurched, the meaning gets lost in their misunderstanding and some I’ve seen have been spiritually abused by those who berated them with the KJV and won’t even sit to listen. But they will watch an allegory like these. Which is why I’m posting to begin with.

The years that I have shared the gospel with, God only knows how many, old and young people I only recall a couple teenagers mocking it when I taught/ read it to them. The reason was because they attended a liberal church and they watched too much Monty Python Holy Grail and Life of Bryan.
Americans of all educational levels can understand my Bible, with one exception......the scholarly higher critics that write commentaries. My pastor read a lot of them and came to the conclusion that it was too difficult to understand. Everyone was required to listen to his Greek studies so they could be impressed with his scholarship.

You put a copy of the Witch, Lion And Wardrobe in their hands and let's see when they get saved.

I'm asking so we can get an idea of how much more successful those other versions have been. Perhaps Lewis or some of the Tea Club he hung out with have books on evangelism?

That’s not what I’m advocating. Did you even read my opening post? The allegory is lead into a deeper conversation with a bible in hand is my theory. The allegory may drop their guards and opposition to the gospel and allow a conversation to continue where the gospel can be presented. Getting people to talk and open up is the goal of the allegory in my theory

I use this one minute video personally to plant and water seeds. I don't think it's long enough to get anyone saved. After watching this particular one, they need something with more Scriptures and a prayer at the end like this.

Clear Gospel Presentation

I read your opening post and appreciate your desire to lead folks to Christ.
I have had opening conversations using whatever topic was at hand. It was often animals, nature, current events, whatever was of interest to the listener. God led me, but I had to present His clear gospel, I Corinthians 15:1,2,3,4. Galatians 1

No matter the other topics or connection you have with someone, salvation depends on the right message led by a believer with God's power, and His Word, John 16:8-11.

After talking to a CSLewis fan, I would borrow any of the gospel presentations above and practice by going out and reaching those in nursing homes and assisted living. Most are in bad shape and don't have much time.

.
I have been practicing Bill Brights (campus crusade for Christ) booklet presentation. I haven’t got anyone willing to sit and listen though. Everyone is too busy, rush rush. No time to listen. but I think if I can intentionally slow those I’m trying to evangelize down a bit by having them watch an allegorical movie and relax from the frantic pace of life. It may open them up to a gospel presentation through Brights booklet.

I could do that But God has blessed me with dozens of unbelievers and moralists lacking the spirit in my sphere of influence already as family, friends, co-workers . of which they are constantly in a state of hurry, such chronic hurry that I can barely get a scripture in verbally to them and they are late for something… and can’t talk … To do this nursing home idea would be distracting me from the mission field God has called me to unfortunately.

How can one reach the dozens around us who are constantly and chronically “too busy” to listen?

Who are the people you're attempting to witness to? Friends, acquaintances, family, children, strangers, people on the street, online? The best way to approach people who are in a hurry is keep it simple. Asking them to watch animated videos like these probably isn't the way to go.

I have a swarm of unbelievers in my midst everyday which include family , friends, coworkers, their children etc. I have more unbelievers around me daily than believers. so I’m in a unique position surrounded by the very verbal unbelieving every day of my life but no one wants to stop and listen to anything other than the advice the world gives unbelievers and even then these people around me would rather avoid any conversation with me period, to the point of excluding me from conversation circles at work than have God brought directly into conversation. I’ve literally watched people run away from me shouting as they leave the door as I’ve brought God into a conversation. If these are the people who God has called me to be on mission for evangelizing them and they can’t even bear a minute of gospel without talking over me and telling me things like they don’t believe it. One will say “I’m my own God” another will say “ I don’t mix religion and work” “you aren’t going to be one of those annoying Christians who bring God into every conversation are you” another has just clammed up and won’t speak to me period. These types aren’t going to sit for a gospel presentation… but yet God has called me to these in my sphere and until God moves me from this mission field I have figure out how He wants me to witness to them if even marginally to plant seed. But these guys won’t even let me so much as speak to plant seed to begin with.

They straight up won’t allow me to speak about the things of God. They will either walk away from the conversation as I enter it. They will talk over me, but they sure can gather around and have time to joke about sexual perversions and other things of the world. So then there is that. I just don’t know how to reach these very difficult people who are ready to be verbally violent at the drop of a hat or willing to absolutely alienate anyone bringing the Word of God to them.

Your first tool is prayer. Start there.
