Personal prophecy

Hi just thought I would start this conflicting debate with a different mindset, to what it's been started with befor today.

Could you all share your thoughts on personal prophecy between an individual and the holy spirit.

My thoughts would be such a personal prophecy could come in the way of seeking or wanting to know God's will for you personally in your life.

I thought I would ask this question on my understanding of personal prophecy and not somebodies one track pony of personal prophecy about one individual to another individual.

Most people badly misinterpret that verse. It says, ‘The origin of the prophetic passages recorded in Scripture is not human imagination or analysis of current events.’

As Jesus spoke prophecy to Peter you will deny threes times, this is also a prophecy that exists here.

Every single self righteous person who ever lived falls short daily because only Jesus is righteous. It is His righteousness that God accepts when we accept Him. We have no righteousness of our own we can boast about.

However, I referred to the following post wherein you claimed amazement that those you disagree with, have, according to you, little respect for the word of God. Now tell me again how you fall short and yet believe you stand in judgement over people who actually walk by the Holy Spirit rather than a book that has no life without the Spirit that God sent to indwell believers.

You add that most do not even believe the Bible. Since you are posting to other Christians, do not claim you are referring to non-believers even though you are apparently calling other Christians that very thing. You, are skating on the thinnest ice possible that supports your opinions. God is indeed merciful and longsuffering.

Confusion.

This is what happens when someone pretends they are well versed with the Bible and have comprehension beyond the rest of us peons and copy/paste portions they mistakenly believe support their painful convoluted evidence for their personal phobias...in this case desperate to prove that he is a personal prophet to the masses and unwilling for any to prove from scripture that he needs to go back to base camp before venturing into the Alps.
